On a clear morning I had just woken up from sleep, feeling very tired after hours of flying to this mid-east country. And this was a precious experience for me and the first time I was away from my family. Then I immediately got up from the bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower and clean my body. Time has shown at 6:30, I finished my bath changed clothes and then came out of the room, "mr Rudi, breakfast is ready!" Said Fatimah the servant who was in this house. "Thank you!" I replied, smiling at him and heading straight to the dining room.
After eating, I sat in the living room and opened my laptop. Then I opened an e-mail to send word to my editor and wife, not forgetting to tell them about my situation who had arrived in Kabul safely. When the e-mail delivery was over I sat down for a moment on a very soft sofa. Doaaaaarrr....Dor..dor....Buaaaaa...!! Suddenly there was a powerful explosion accompanied by a series of weapons. At that instant the atmosphere felt panicked, and I was confused about what was going on right now! Then Fatimah approached me. "Master, there's been a shooting out there!" Said. "Master don't come out, the situation is very dangerous!" The girl said back, "oh no problem, it's my job as a reporter, "I hope you don't have to worry about me" I said back to her. Oh just now that I realized that the ceasefire was in progress, I immediately took the camera and ran out. At the moment I just want to immediately as soon as possible to find news information for me to update to my office, "this is my first news," I said in my heart. The riot of the panicked citizens made me become confused. "Where should I go?" Thought. Then I also ran with the people to evacuate. Iidaaarrr..........!! It was seen a mortar snatching onto the enemy's defense area.
No wonder the big explosion happened instantly. Duaaaarr.......Duaaaaaarrrr..!The fragments of the mortar were scattered to hit whatever was there, seen human bodies flying into the air, thick smoke soaring high. Treeeteeett...treeeeett....! Long-barreled firearms buzzed out bullets that flew into the existing spaces, and at that time the defensive walls that were considered the base of intrusion by the Government were seen full of bullet holes. A grenade was ejected and immediately hit an armored vehicle belonging to the Government army. Duaaaaaarr...! Bummmm!! Two explosions occurred and it was also seen that a tank car was smashed to pieces with a large fire lit and damaged a steel lapais vehicle, a counterattack from the group of vandals was not great......the nuclear sound fired by the Afghan military flew against the enemy's defenses. Yidaaarrrrr.....!! A massive explosion occurred immediately accompanied by screams from the rioting troops. The arena of war was like a sea of fire, black smoke everywhere and huge flames soaring into space. What a very stressful atmosphere. Iidaaarrr.....! Once again the mortar shelling destroyed the enemy's defenses. Dar..dar...hm..duaar...trerett...treteett..! Morter and gun voices continued to be heard from a distance, this war was taking place in the middle of the desert so I was less clear to watch, but the sounds of gunfire and explosions were heard quite clearly in my ear, my camera shot captured that event. Nearly an hour into the truce was under way and the gripping atmosphere was dull.
...----------------...
After the calm I was with the residents out of the camp, when it sounded the roar of the sound of ambulances and police brigade cars passing in the middle of the city. I also tried to take pictures of the current situation in this city after the new war. I also searched here and there for people I could interview, but no one was willing to ask me. Now the current situation makes me full of confusion and this is where my journalistic work is tested, how capable I am to interview people or important figures.
After a calm state, I tried to continue walking while monitoring the situation around with occasionally I took pictures and recorded the events that had just happened. My eyes were pointing somewhere, I saw someone standing at the end of the road carrying a long barrel gun on his shoulder, calmly arranging the citizens there. "Who is he?" I asked in my heart. I slowly walked over to the person, "Hi, What you speak English?" Ask him. "No!" the answer. But I tried to keep asking him, while showing him my press card so he understood that I was a Journalist. "oh, you're a Journalist apparently." The answer is in Arabic. Apparently this person only understands Arabic. "right" I replied, "can I get information from you?" I'm back, in Arabic.
Then he said that he was a policeman, "may I know where this attack came from?" I said, "from the north of Kabul." Reply firmly. "What did they attack?" I asked him to come back to me and bring my Recorder tape closer to him, "military center" he replied, "then how is he at the moment?" I asked again, "now the ceasefire has ended and now the Government is still counting how many casualties, injuries and buildings that have collapsed" he replied again, "later you ask the information to the Government camp, maybe soon they will conduct the Conference." Reciprocity. "Oh so, well I'll wait," "thank you". I said to him as I walked away from him.
About two hours after the attack I also got information that the Minister of Defense will immediately conduct the Conference. Without wasting any time I drove towards the Defense Minister's Office, and the Office was not far from where I lived. The Ministry of Defence has announced all the events that have just happened. The entire media crew I saw gathered in the Ministry Hall, both outside and domestic media.
"The attack was carried out by the opposite group, by launching its nuclear into the defense army camp, the death toll of the army is currently nine people, then there are six wounded. They destroyed two army vehicles. As for the casualties from the opposing side there were sixteen people and the injuries are unknown. There were no civilian casualties, but four adults were injured and are currently hospitalized". Information from the Ministry.
I immediately recorded and recorded the contents of the speech read by the Minister of Defense. I quickly opened the page to send news and images via e-mail to the editor to be published. Mr. Ferry, as the Editor-in-Chief replied immediately to my email and he felt very happy because he got the A1 news from the scene. Yes, I always send all events to the Editor quickly.
When I saw it was 21:14, I immediately returned to my inn on foot. As soon as I got home I immediately took a bath and had dinner provided by Fatimah. After dinner, I went to the bedroom to rest. Today is really a day that makes me feel anxious, it turns out the war that I have been watching on tv now I can see it directly. Horrible!, haru!, blood was strewn everywhere, what an extreme sight I saw. But all the fatigue felt lost when I managed to send the news to my media, all paid off already with my handwriting and eye camera that immediately received the memory of all these events. Not felt, finally closed death.

The next day I was still sitting on the living room couch and opening my laptop, helping me with the development around me. Today it seems that my media in Indonesia has published news that I wrote about the war that occurred last night, my newspaper reported about the events that occurred in Afghanistan as a headline. I also felt proud for a moment because my work and writing could be loaded, seen and read by many people through my news office. Indeed this is the happiness of a media journalist, the pride is when the writing is read by the entire Society even though they never know how difficult it is to get news information done by Journalists. A precious work and experience that I should keep and immerse in me that I will tell my children and grandchildren. Doesn't feel like death is closed. For almost two hours I slept, and I was awakened by Fatimah. "Sir, I'm sorry, there's a guest outside wanting to see you." Her speech. "Okay, he's coming in". Mungkasku. A moment later came in a man who yesterday picked me up at the airport, he was right, he was Deddy, "hi mas Rudi." Say. "hi, how are you?" I asked him, "i'm fine." The answer. "Oh yeah, last night there was a truce, how about you when it happened." He said to me. "yes, I'm fine." Reply back. "Overnight's war seemed to bring the impression to me, that I had just become a proper writer," I said again. "today, the Indonesian nation is reading the latest news from me, all my writing became famous." I said back. What a wonderful experience, "oh good." I'm happy to answer the man to me. "oh, yes, I came here in addition to asking you about it, I also brought an invitation to dinner tomorrow at the Indonesian Embassy Office." He said, "all Indonesians will be there" he said. "Well, I'll come tomorrow night" I replied, "then excuse me," he replied, "thank you for coming and inviting me." My word. He finally left and left me.
