One day Khadijah ⁇ ※Hittshit was pessimistic, could the young man marry her? Given his age, imagine 40 years? What the people said would be because Khadijah himself had closed the door to the leaders of the Quraysh who had previously been persistent in proposing to him.
So when he was confused and agitated because of the problems that plagued his mind, suddenly appeared a friend named Nafisah bint Munabbih.
Then he sat down and dialogued until the ingenuity of Nafisah was able to uncover the secrets hidden by Khadijah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ about the problems faced in his life.
Counsellors tried to encourage Khadijah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ & appease her feelings by saying that Khadijah was a woman of dignity, a descendant of honorable people, possessed of wealth and beautiful paras. It is evident by the many leaders of the Quraysh who proposed to him
Furthermore, when Nafisah came out of the house Khadijah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ until there was a dialogue that showed the shrewdidginess of a Nafisah throwing the dice of love to the trusted man.
Khadijah. This shows that she is a dignified woman. Nafisah who then met Prophet Muhammad.
"O Muhammad, now you have become an honorable, distinguished and mature youth, but why have you not married yet?"
"I don't have anything to marry.
“O Muhammad, I am Nafisah bint Munyah. I have come with news of a great, holy, and noble woman. She's a perfect woman, perfect for you. If you want, I can say your name on his side,” Nafisah said to Muhammad, in the Books of the Love of Muhammad (Nizar Abazhah, 2018).
At that time the Prophet did not immediately answer because he was still weighing.
“Who is that woman?”
Sontak Nafisah bint Muniyah replied: “Siti Khadijah bint Khuwailid.”
“I'm willing if he's willing.” He replied.
Not long after, Nafisah bint Muniyah came to Siti Khadijah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ to spread the good news.
Likewise with the Prophet Muhammad. He ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ I immediately met his uncle, Abu Talib for ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ expressed his intention to ask Siti Khadijah. Hearing the words of his nephew, Abu Talib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ agreed. Abu Talib, and the rest of the family then went to the residence of Amr bin Asad as the uncle and guardian of Siti Khadijah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ∈.
With 20 young camels, Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ) married Siti Khadijah bint Khuwailid. The regent of Siti Khadijah was represented by his uncle Amr bin Asad, while the Prophet Muhammad's party was. The age difference is quite far (about 15 years), as well as the wide economic gap between the two of them did not prevent Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Building a blessed household.
Imam Ja’far ash-Shadiq said, “Manakala Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ about to marry Khadijah bint Khuwailid ⁇ ⁇ , Abu Thalib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ with his family entourage together to visit Waraqah bin Naufal, Khadijah's uncle.
After meeting and speaking a little, Abu Talib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ delivered the words of a proposal, "Al-hamdu li rabb hadza al-bait (all praise to the owner of this house) who has made us as descendants of Ibrahim AS. and Ismail AS extended family.
“Then this brother of mine (Muhammad) was a prominent and well-known youth of Quraysh. No one can match his greatness. Nor is there anyone more just than him, though he is a poor man who has no possessions, something which in time will be lost, a shade which disappears.
"This young man was attracted to Khadijah as Khadijah was also attracted to him. We come to you to propose/invite him (Khadijah) with his consent and at his command.
"The Marriage I will bear with my own money, as much as you ask, both cash and tempo. And, he (Muhammad) was a great son, noble man, intelligent and genius.”
After Abu Talib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ delivered the proposal, Khadijah's uncle (a priest) greeted him with a stammer. He answered briefly and repeated. Khadijah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Then interjected by saying:
“My uncle although you are more important than me to give this testimony, but you are not more important than me for my own sake. Muhammad, I marry myself to you.
"Maskawin' it from myself. Tell your uncle to slaughter Camel then walimah tasyakkuran, and go to your family.”
Abu Talib said, “Brothers, watch! He (Khadija) has received the proposal of Muhammad, and he who gives the dowry of his own property.”
Some of the Quraysh who attended and watched this event said, “Wah, this is very strange, dowry/match, kok, from women, from their own property.”
Hearing these words, Abu Talib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ infuriated. Then he said, “If they are like my nephew, men will be asked for a high dowry. If you are like you, surely you will not marry her except with a high, expensive dowry.”
After that, Abu Talib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ then slaughtered camels for walimah. And the Prophet entered the room with his wife, Khadijah.
In one account, it is mentioned that one of the mascarines is 20 female camels and 40 goats.
On that day, Abu Talib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ uttered his famous kutbah as follows.
“All praise to Allah who has made us as the children of Abraham the descendants of Ismail comes from Ma’ad, and was born from among Mudhar. He has made us as the caretaker of His Temple (Ka’bah) and the protector of his holy land. And he has made for us the holy pilgrimage Ka’bah and a safe holy land, and He is the one who made us human leaders.
"Then my nephew, Muhammad ibn Abdillah, could not keep up with him in his honor, glory, and virtue. If in terms of property, there is not much in his possession, then indeed the treasure is a shadow that must disappear because it is an obstacle and a loan that must be returned.
"He, by Allah, after this event had great news and great standing. And he has come to you to propose to your daughter Khadijah, and he has given her that much.”
