Al-Imam Sayyid Muhammad bin Alawy Al-Maliky Al-Hasani recounted this great event (Disclosure of the Prophet's Heart ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ) in the Book of Al-Anwaarul Bahiyyah and Dzikrayaat wa Munaasabaat. One night Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Apocalypse was in Hijir Ismail near Ka'bah, then He ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Sayyiduna Hamzah, and his cousin.
Suddenly the US Archangel Gabriel, US Michael, and US Israfil came to him ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ and brought him to the well of Zamzam. On arrival they poured down the noble body of the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ To be cleaved to his chest by the US Gabriel.
In another account, it is mentioned that one night the roof of the Prophet's house ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ opened, then Jibril U. S. broke his chest ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ opened, then Jibril U. S. said to Mikail U. S, "Bring me a tray with Zamzam water so I can clean his heart and I'll stretch out his chest."
Please note that this sanctification does not mean the heart of the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ dirty. Precisely the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ The most holy and noble heart. This is nothing but to add holiness above holiness and to further strengthen and strengthen His heart.
Moreover, He ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ He will make a great journey full of wisdom and as a readiness to meet Allah 'Azza wa Jalla.
When his chest was split apart, Gabriel broke his heart ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ and washed it three times. Then came a golden tray filled with wisdom and faith. Jibril US. poured it into his heart ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ With patience, faith, science and full pity to Allah.
In the hadith mentioned, before the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ did Israel and Mi’raj, his chest was dissected. He ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Served, “Then my heart was taken out, then washed with zamzam water, then returned to its place, and filled with faith and wisdom.” (HR Bukhari, Muslim, and Tirmidhi).
Thus the story of the operation of cleansing the heart of the Prophet Muhammad before the journey of Israel Mi'raj.
Muhammad Al-Ghazali in his Fiqh Sirah commented, This symbolizes the preparation that must be done before he departed to run Israel and Mi’raj. Ibn Hajar in Fathul Bari mentions, this surgery and liver washing occurs three times.
First, when he was a child, lived in the village in the care of Halimatus Sa’diyah. Second, when he received revelation to be made prophet and apostle. And, thirdly when he was about to do Isra and Mi’raj. (Fathul Bari Juz 11 Chapter Mi’raj p 216)
Of course, this event of chest surgery and heart washing provides many lessons to us. At least six important lessons.
First, whoever wishes to ascend and become a noble man, must cleanse the heart.
Preparation to rise in order to achieve glory and high degrees is not armed with property, physical strength, or science. But, the most important is the cleanliness of the heart, the silence of the soul, and the nobility of the mind.
Treasures often make people forget. The power of the body often makes humans angry. Science often makes people arrogant. Treasure, physical strength, and science are only useful if they belong to a person whose heart is clean.
It has been proven that without a good heart, treasures, forms, and knowledge, it only further wreaks harm on man.
Second, the heart beats the bad of man. Why is the heart cleansed? Not the head, eyes, or feet?
Throughout human history, this life has always been worse, not really because of the economic crisis. Not because of the lack of science. Also, not because of physical weakness. Rather, because of the destruction of human morality and morality.
“Then do they not walk on the face of the earth, and they have a heart with which they can understand or have ears with which they can hear? For it is not the eye that is blind, but the blind is the heart that is in the chest.” (al-Hajj: 46).
Third, the heart is the essence of man. That's where Allah ⁇ 『Hittletshittshake sees and judges. Allah's Messenger ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Allah has not seen your body nor your image. But God looks to your heart and your deeds.” (Moslem HR).
Fourth, the most powerful force of the heart. The power of an important treasure. Physical strength and weapons are also important. But, the true strength of a leader and the noble people who make him immortal and loved is the strength because of the cleanliness of his heart.
Fifth, the education of the heart must be above intellectual and physical education. Isra and Mi’raj with a procession of chest surgery and liver washing should make us realize that the education of the heart is the most important.
We have wrongly adored the face, science, and technology by marginalizing and even forgetting the education of the heart. So, those born are the children of educated nations who are beautiful, handsome, and lined with titles are also many treasures.
Unfortunately, he has no heart. They do not spread goodness, but cause trouble and disobedience.
Sixth, the liver must always be clean and healthy. In this life treasures can be reduced, even lost. The appearance also must have changed and disappeared.
Physical health will not survive. Thats okay. The heart is always clean and healthy. Only a clean and healthy heart is saved and accepted by God.
“On the day of the apocalypse treasures and children are no longer useful. Except, those who face God with a clean heart.” (QS assy-Syu’ara: 88-89).
That is the meaning contained in the heart surgery of the Prophet.
After the purification of the heart of the Prophet was completed, Jibril then prepared Buraq complete with his saddle and control. This beast was white, larger than the lower himar of the baghal. He walked as far as the sight of his eyes, the length of both his ears, if down he raised both his front legs. Buraq was created with two wings on the sides of his thighs to help his speed.
For the full story, Author will describe it in the next chapter.
Hopefully helpfully.
