Mount/hill Sinai is located in Egypt, precisely in the South Sinai Peninsula in the central part of the Janub Sina region. The mountain as high as 2,285 meters above sea level (mdpl) is also known as Mount Musa or Mount Hareh.
In the Qur'an, Mount Sinai is referred to as the place where the Prophet Moses of the United States had a dialogue with Allah ⁇ Hit ⁇ Hittleitts .
The story of Prophet Moses AS. is one of the stories of the Prophet that is quite long spoken and is found in several parts in the Qur’an. If described from the beginning of his birth to his death would certainly be some episodes of the story, because there is always something interesting in every phase of his life. In this short review the Author will only write the story of Prophet Moses US. when the Prophet Moses US. was mengunjatan to Allah ⁇ ⁇ Hittleittshit at Mount Sinai.
Imam Al-Baidhowy, Imam An-Nasafy, and other exegetes mention that the Prophet Moses was AS. once promised to his people the children of Israel - while they were still in Egypt - if Allah ⁇ HittleythopthiHinthiHinthi destroyed Fir’aun and his armies then he would give a kind of holy book in which there were commandments from Allah ⁇ Hittlets ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________.
After Allah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ P.F.H.H.D.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.H.Then the prophet Moses of the United States, along with the Israelites, rescued him from the pursuit of Fir’aun and his army and drowned him in the bottom of the Red Sea, the prophet Moses wanted to fulfill his promise to the Children of Isail. He also asked Allah ⁇ HitthiHitthiHittswitto give him a book that could be held by the Children of Israel and the people after him.
Then Allah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ 『Hittle.Di . it is said to the prophet Moses of the US to go to a mountain between the hills of Sinai –which is now named by the locals as Mount Moses (Jabal Musa)- to spend there for 30 days. During his reign, Allah ⁇ Hitthi-Hitthi-Fitthi ordered him to fast and continue to recite.
Before leaving, Prophet Moses AS asked his brother –Prophet Harun AS– to replace him take care of the Children of Israel during his reign. Prophet Moses AS. also asserted that the Prophet Aaron AS. to always be sensitive to whatever happens to his people and help them if there is a problem. After that, the Prophet Moses of the United States went to Sinai and began his pilgrimage.
Al-Imam Ad-Dailamy narrates a hadith marfu’ from Ibn Abbas ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ “Then Prophet Moses AS. completed his submission to Allah , - By fasting for 30 days day and night -, the time of his meeting with Allah ⁇ Hit. However, the Prophet Moses AS did not want when he met later his mouth still stinks because of a long fasting. He took the leaves around him and chewed them.
"God knows this, then asks: 'Why did you break your fast, Moses?' Moses answered, 'My Lord, I just don't want to talk to You later, my mouth stinks from fasting.' Then Allah ⁇ Hittley, ⁇ ⁇ 「Moses, Do you not know that the bad breath of the fasting person is more fragrant to Me than the smell of the kasturi?'
“Back fasting for 10 days, then come again to talk to me.
This event is in harmony with the word of God Swt. In the letter Al-A’raf verse 142
وَوَٰعَدۡنَا مُوسَىٰ ثَلَٰثِينَ لَيۡلَةٗ وَأَتۡمَمۡنَٰهَا بِعَشۡرٖ فَتَمَّ مِيقَٰتُ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَرۡبَعِينَ لَيۡلَةٗۚ
“And we promised Moses (gave the Torah) thirty nights, and we completed the number of nights with ten (nights again), and completed the time his Lord appointed forty nights.”
"After 40 days of fasting, the Prophet Moses of the United States came back to converse with Allah . He said, 'My Lord, show me (yourself) that I may see You.” (QS. Al-A’raf : 143) Allah Swt. said: “You will not (could) see Me, but look at the mountain. If he stays in his place, you can surely see Me.”
"Then, when Allah ⁇ Hit ⁇ Hitthi-Highi-Defined) revealed His majesty to the mountain, the mountain was blown up. Moses the US who witnessed it immediately fell unconscious. Upon awakening, he said, 'Holy Thou art, I repent to Thee and I am the first believer.'(QS. Al-A’raf :143)
وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاضِرَةٌ٢٢ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٞ٢٣
“Faces (believers) on that day beamed. To his god they looked.”
We cannot imagine what would happen if Allah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ appeared to Moses the prophet As at that time.
"After the awakening from the fainting, Allah ⁇ HitHinthiHitthiHitthou, said unto him, 'O Moses, verily I choose (exaggerate) you from other men (in your time) to carry My treatises and My words (scriptions), hold fast to what I give you and be among those who give thanks.' (QS. Al-A’raf :144)
In the pages (alwah or tempaf) of the Torah that Moses had received, Allah ⁇ ⁇ Hilli ⁇ Hittlexhave written down everything that the Israelites needed. Such as the explanation of halal and haram, good and bad, as well as the advice that is important for his people.
After receiving the Torah, Moses returned to his people in the hope that their lives would be better because of the Torah.
We can imagine how great the love of Prophet Moses AS to his people. In order for his people to be guided, the Prophet Musa USA willingly went far to the mountains of Sinai and fasted there for 40 days and 40 nights. But what he found most of his people was back to paganism (While the story we know by the term gold statue that can make a sound).
