After arriving in Medina, Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ program and implement it. E.: building a mosque, reconciling between Muhajiriin and Anshar, and making a treaty with the people of Medina.
First step, building a mosque. The construction of the mosque soon began and all Muslims took part so that there stood a brick-walled mosque, wooded date palm stems, and roofed date leaves.
After the Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ in Medina, His first program ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was to determine the place where the Mosque would be built. He ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ 'the camel stop as a mosque.
The camel of the Prophet stopped at a large field where the date was dried, belonging to the two brothers Sahal and Suhail bin Amr, they were orphans. So the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ asked both of them to sell their land.
Both wanted to give their land as a gift. But the prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ 'the land. And Abu Bakr, ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ , handed over the money to the two of them.
The construction of the mosque was done in royong by the friends of the Prophet with full sincerity. The prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ 'The Muhajir and Anshar.
The mosque was built with a very simple building, adapted to the capabilities and circumstances at that time. The mosque was a vast open building, its walls made of rough bricks, as the roof was made up of date leaves and some of the others were left open.
The mosque built by Allah's Apostle ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ along with the Muhajirin and Anshar not only serves for prayer, but for all the activities of the Prophet in Medina. Among the functions of the mosque in the time of the Prophet is as a place to unite the people, to discuss the development of Islam, to study religion, even as a center of government after the Prophet.
All the activities of the people of Medina were centered in the mosque. That is the function of the actual mosque has been built by the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ in Medina.
After finishing building the mosque, the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Beside the mosque. The house is also very simple. Beside the mosque also built simple places to live poor people who do not have the ability to build houses. Some of them were Muhajirs from Makkah.
Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ lived in the house of Abu Ayyub al Anshari until the completion of the construction of the Nabawi Mosque and the place where He lived. All the companions of the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ built the Nabawi Mosque, as they did together in the construction of the Qubayl Mosque.
A few days later, the wife of the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ poppy ⁇ ; Usamah ibn Zaid, ‘Aisyah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ also followed the migration to Medina under the control of Abdullah bin Abu Bakar. As for his daughter, another, Zainab, ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ 'About Madinah after the battle of Badr.
In Medina, the Messenger of Allah :
" O Allah, bless our fruits, bless our city, bless our Sha’, & bless our Mud. O Allah, Prophet Abraham is Your servant and Your lover. I am Your servant and Prophet. He’a to You for the prosperity of Makkah, & I say’a to You for the prosperity of Medina, as Ibrahim mendo’ the city of Makkah. (CHR. Muslim 2437)
Hijrah which means moving from one place to another or leaving an act, or separating from certain associations, in Islamic history can be divided into four parts, namely:
Hijrah Prophet from Makkah to Thaif, for a few days only, then returned to Makkah.
Hijrah of the Prophet and his companions from Makkah to Medina.
To emigrate from bad deeds, to good ones. Hijrah from reproach to praiseworthy deeds.
Hijrah in the sense of the first to the third is impossible for us to do and no longer necessary. All we have to do is emigrate in the fourth sense, which is to leave the despicable deeds to the commendable deeds. Leaving the lost and heading for the divine direction.
On this matter the Prophet said:
يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ لَا هِجْرَةَ وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ وَإِذَا اسْتُنْفِرْتُمْ فَانْفِرُوا (رواه البخاري)
"There is no hijrah after the opening of the city of Makkah, but there is a hijrah to fight and good faith. If you are invited to jihad, then rush”. (CHR. Bukhari, No.: 2848).
Meaning: “The perfect Muslim is the one who does not disturb other Muslims with his mouth and hands and the one who emigrates is the one who leaves the prohibition of Allah.” (CHR. Bukhari, No: 9, Abu Dawud, No: 2122, Nasa’i, No: 4910).
