Miracles were endowed by Allah ⁇ Hitthillthratshitto the Prophets for the purpose of helping His messengers carry out their prophetic duties. Including Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ One of the miracles was emitting water between his fingers.

This can be proven through the descriptions of the hadith told by the companions of the Prophet Muhammad.

Ibnul Jauzi in the book Al Wafa summarizes the hadiths that tell of the extraordinary phenomenon of the jets of water coming out from the fingers of the Prophet Muhammad.

The water is usually used by the companions and Muslims around the Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ for ablution or quenching thirst when running out of water.

The first story, the miracle of the Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ This was immortalized in the hadith narration of the Book of Fadha'il ash Shahabah told by Anas bin Malik. He said, "I saw the Holy Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ when the Ashar prayer time came. At that time, people were looking for water for ablution, but they did not get it.

"At that time, Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was said to be in a Zawra or a place for a rather high place located near the Nabawi Mosque. The Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was known to put his hand in a container.

"At Allah's permission 『Diamonds.com, water suddenly radiated from His fingers. The Muslims at that time also took ablution from the water.

"Qatadah who heard this story asked Anas, 'How many were you then?'

Anas replied, 'About three hundred people, '"(HR Bukhari and Muslim).

Other evidence is summarized in a number of shahih books, especially from Bukhari and Muslim shahih. There is one account that comes from Salim bin Abi al Ju'd of Jabir bin Abdillah al Anshari ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ said, saying,

"At the time of Hudaibiyah's journey, the companions experienced thirst. Meanwhile, in front of the Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was a bag of skin. Then he ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ 「DIFF.

"Seeing that Prophet Muhammad. The Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ What is it with you?'

"The Companions answered, 'We have no water for ablution and to drink except this one in front of you.'

"Lantas, Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ The pouch put his hand in the water. Instantly the water radiated from his fingers like a spring. The Companions also took water for ablution and drank from the jets of water.

"Jabir said, Suppose our number of 100 thousand would still be enough. However, at that time, we were only one thousand and five hundred people.'" (HR Bukhari and Muslim in Bab al Manaqib, al Maghzai, and al Imarah).

A similar incident was witnessed by Ibn Abbas. He recounted, "At that time, the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ and the companions were traveling one morning. Apparently, they had run out of water supplies.

"Anyone complained about it to Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ O Messenger of Allah, the water supply among the soldiers was exhausted,'

"Then he asked, 'Do you have a little water?'

'Yes, ' replied the man.

'Then that water was on me, ' afterwards, the man brought a container of his own that contained a little water.

"Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was seen putting his fingers on the lip of the container while stretching it. Suddenly, there was a source of water radiating from between his fingers.

"Then, He ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ) asked Bilal bin Rabbah to call out to other Muslims, ' 'Call the people to worship from this blessed water.'" (HR Ahmad and Al Baihaqi).

Ulama Tafsir Al Qurthubi argues about the stories of water emanated from the fingers of the Prophet Muhammad. According to him, based on differences in information on the number of people who benefit from water, miracles often occur in various places.

"This story is also spoken of many paths that show that the incorporation of these paths is a definite science that can be taken from at tawatur al maknawi. There has never been a miracle like this other than the Prophet Muhammad," he said translated Sheikh Abdul Majid Az-Zandani in the book Encyclopaedia Iman.

At tawatur al maknawi itself is interpreted as a group of people who are impossible to lie narrating a certain event. Iyadh scholars also argue, the stories above are narrated by a group of trusted people.

"This story is narrated by a group of trusted people from many groups of people who are related to the friends [Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ], he explained.
