...If in the previous chapter the Author tells about the joy and story of Abu Lahab, in this chapter the Author tells the story of the Prophet Muhammad's mother....
Sayyidah Aminah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Quitar Quitar ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ This was Tsuwaibah. At that time, Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was separated as a mother who breastfed a baby. But the Prophet's feud ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ in just a few days. Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was also breastfeeding her own baby named Masruh.
Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was one of Abu Lahab bin Abdul Muttalib's slave girls, Prophet Muhammad's uncle. Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ has a role that ‘Quite strategic’ when Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was just born.
He was the one who first gave the news of the birth of Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ when the Prophet's grandfather was in the Ka’bah. He also informed Abu Lahab of the birth of Prophet Muhammad. Abu Lahab then liberated Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ for joy at the birth of his nephew who was none other than Prophet Muhammad.
Not only that, quoting the book Sirah Nabawiyah (Shaykh Syafiyurrahman Al-Mubarakfury, 2012) Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ is the first woman –after Sayyidah Aminah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ breastfeeding Prophet Muhammad. Previously, Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ also breastfed Hamzah bin Abdul Mutallib (Uncle of the Prophet) and Abu Salamah bin Abdul Asad Al-Makhzumi.
Mentioned in the book Muhammad Rahmat for Women (Samiyah Menisi, 2016), Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ suckling Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ (According to one week).
Because of his services, Prophet Muhammad . Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ He continued to seek and maintain good relations with Tsuwaibah. So did Sayyidah Khadijah.
In fact, as stated in the books of Love Chambers Muhammad (Nizar Abazhah, 2018), Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ send all the needs of Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ , ranging from food to clothing, etc, until he died in the 7th year.
Qattan ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ has only one child, Masruh. By the time Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was in Khaibar. After getting word of Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ I asked about Masruh.
“What his son, Masruh,”, said Prophet Muhammad. But apparently, Masruh had died first.
So when he died, Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ had no family. Thus the way Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ honors and retaliates the meritorious in his life. He ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ He is very respectful, weak, has good relationships, and even fulfills his needs during his life. It was done by Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ This was done because Tsuwaibah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ suckled him as a child.
*****
After some time, the family of Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was also looking for a foster mother for her. The habit of leaving children in the nursery in this village became commonplace for the Arab community in ancient times.
It aims to make children grow up in rural environments where the air is still clean and keep children away from diseases in the city. Also so that the child has a strong physique and soul.
In addition, being in an environment with fluent Arabic so that children can speak the original language, Arabic Baduy are true, a language that has not been damaged because it has not been influenced by foreign languages. Thus, children can speak words with good Arabic and the original Arabic dialect and fluent.
Therefore, Abdul Mutthalib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ looking for women who can breastfeed the Prophet of Bani Sa'ad bin Bakr, that is Halimah bint Abu Dzuaib (Halimatus Sa'diyah ) ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ She was a female intruder. Halimah's husband, al-Harith ibn Abdul Uzza, was named Abu Kabshah, from the same tribe.
There, Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ , namely; 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith, Anisah bint al-Harith, Hudzafah or Judzamah bint al-Harith (he is the one who nicknamed asy-Shaima' the later more popular became his name and who also cared for the Prophet and Abu Sufyan bin al-Harith bin Abdul Muttalib, the Prophet's cousin).
Halimatus Sa'diyah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ in the middle of his family. Ibn Ishaq ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ said; "Halima once told me that he once went outside with his husband and his young and nursing baby. He also brought along several women who were both looking for nursing babies.
"When that's where they're in a drought, we don't have anything left. Then I went riding on my greenish-white donkey with an old camel.
"Similarly, the milk of old camels with us is no longer contained. We always want help and a way out. I went back outside riding my already-powerless female camel to continue the journey so that this made our group restless due to fatigue and the twisting drought conditions.
"At last we came to Makkah to look for the nursing babies but not a woman among us when offered to breastfeed the Prophet but refused him after knowing his Orphan condition.
"For, our purpose (a baby breastfeeding woman), is to expect only material rewards from the baby's parents while he is an orphan baby, so what can his mother and grandfather give us?
"We all don't like it because of it. Finally, all the nursing women I was with got the baby suckling except me.
"When we all agreed to go home, I said to my husband, By Allah! I wouldn't go home with my friends without bringing a baby.'
"'By Allah! I will go to the Orphan's house and take it as my baby.'
"Then my husband said, 'There is no harm if you do that, may God make his presence in our midst a blessing.'
"I finally went to his house and took him with me. Actually, my motivation for taking her along was simply because I had not yet had another baby other than her.
"After that, I went home with him and rode my mount. When He laid it on my lap and offered ******* my milk to his mouth to drink the breast milk as much as He liked.
"He tricked him to fullness, followed later by his fellow brothers (bayiku) until full as well.
"Then the two fell asleep very fast even though we could not squint our eyes to sleep because of the crying of our baby.
"My husband controls our old camel and it turns out that the milk has been filled, and then he squeezes it out for drinking. I also drank until our stomachs were full, and that night for us was the most beautiful night of sleep we had ever felt.
"In the morning, my husband said to me, 'By God! Do you know, Halima? You have taken the blessed man.'
"I said, 'By God! I hope so.' Then we went out again and I rode on my breast and took with me the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ on it."
