Chapter 13 The Long Journey

"Nobody from anywhere?"

"Aunty, from now on, don't worry because I've already settled all of Aunt's debts "

"Where did you get that kind of money?"

"Auntie don't worry about that"

"Darren you didn't steal or rob, did you?"

"Why are you accusing me of that?"

"I've never stolen or robbed!"

"I'm sorry Aunt Darren"

"I've got a job in a minute I'm going to go to work out of town"

"Thank God you got a job"

"How long won't you go home?"ask Anna.

"So don't know, but brother remind you you to take good care of yourself well?"

Next Day.

As promised today Darren will drive Jack and his family away.Darren asks Alex's men to come with him to Mr. Hamillton's house, some of them are asked to pick up Anna and Aunt Sarah.

In front of Mr. Hamillton's house, Jack installed a wooden board to close the windows of the house so that they could not get inside.But Darren asked his men to dismantle the wood.Although it took a long and long time,Darren waited for his men to open the wooden crossbar.After some time Anna and Aunt Sarah came who were picked up by car.

"Sister why is sister here?Are they brother's man?"

"Yes they're my man, today Uncle Jack and his family have to get out of this house!"

"Why is that, brother?"

"Anna this house belongs to your father!So I won't let this house be theirs"

"But brother..."

"Anna I just want to take your property!"

"True Anna, all of this is Mr. Hamillton's business, however it is your right" Aunt Sarah said.

Suddenly Jack came out with a golf stick in his hand.

"What are you doing in my house!!I'm not going to get out of my house!Don't expect me to get out of here!!!"

Jack's about to hit Darren's men to stop what they're doing,but so many men can bend Jack.Both hands Jack tied so as not to fight.Some of the men enter to take out Jack's family goods.

"Your paths!! That's outrageous!!"meggy was full of emotion.

Jenny tidied up her belongings, with the help of Tom.Without Jenny knew Meggy called the police.Some time later the police came to Mr. Hamillton's house.Some Police officers got out of his car were surprised by the crowd and commotion.

"What's this?"ask police.

"Capture them sir, because they want to drive my family out of our own house" Meggy said.

"Meggy why are you calling the police?"ask Tom and his mom.

"What is this really?Why are you taking this family stuff out?"

"No sir this is just a misunderstanding!"jenny interrupted Darren who explained.

"Mother!!What are you doing!!Just arrest them sir, see they've hurt my father, they've tied up my already defenseless father?"

"I just want to take away my brother's rights sir" Darren said firmly.

"What does that mean?"

"This house belongs to Mr. Hamillton, and he still has a daughter, Anna Hamillton, but since they've been here they've controlled Mr. Hamillton's house"

"Do you have the ownership papers?"ask police.

Jack's family could not provide ownership of the house.

He gave the ownership of the house, the police also examined the authenticity of the letter.

"This does belong to Mr. Hamillton, so this house belongs to his daughter.So who are they?"

"They're Mr. Hamillton's sister, they...?"

"Darren Auntie Please?We'll get out of here today!!"

Jenny felt scared, if Darren told her about the incident 5 years ago.She was afraid that would drag her husband to prison.

"Can't you all talk about this in a family way?"

"I've given them a long time, but they put up a fight and won't leave"

"We'll help you, let Mr. Jack go. I'll help them get out of here"

Jack is let go, not that he's behaving better and packing his things but he picks up the golf stick that was lying down.Jack hits Darren in the head from behind.

"Birbs"

A voice so loud in Darren's ears, blood coming out of his head flowing down into his eyes, his body falling to the ground, his sight looking a little blurred, he said,Darren sees his men and the police holding Jack who laughs satisfied to beat Darren up lying.His eyes are getting darker to see, Anna's voice that was loudly calling her name increasingly soft in her ears.

"Sister..sister"

Daren collapsed, fainting,the police secure Jack and take the golf stick that is still in his hands.They put Darren into the car and took him to the Hospital.Di along the way Anna cried to see the state of her brother whose face was filled with bloods.

After a while Darren's eyes opened, next to Anna's bed, who was sleeping next to him.

"Anna"

"Sister, are you conscious?"

"Why is my sister here?What's the matter?"

"So Uncle Jack hit brother's head with a golf stick until brother's head came out a lot of blood and brother fell unconscious"

"Then what about them?"

"Uncle Jack might get a punishment because he's been secured by the police to be taken to the office.Aunt Jenny and her son have died at the house of Dad"

"really?Tomorrow you want to stay in that house again Anna"

"Why did you do all this for me?"

"Anna you've suffered enough because of them, I've been living in the Orphanage since childhood without me knowing who my parents were.But when I met you and your family, I was,I have a family.So I'll do anything for you"

"Thank you brother" while hugging Darren.

Darren has been allowed to go home because the wound on his head is not so deep.Darren accompanied Anna to return to Aunt Sarah's house.

"Darren are you allowed to go home?Are you feeling better?"

"Yes my aunt is fine.Auntie there's something I want to talk to Auntie about?"

They sat at the table to talk about something.

"Auntie can take care of Anna?"

"Of course Darren, you've already considered Aunt's own child, how could Auntie not take care of Anna.Why would you say that?As if you're not coming back?"ask Aunt Sarah.

"I want you to stay at Anna's father's house.After Anna's graduation is over, I want Anna to study at the International Faculty for her"

"But that big brother must be very expensive?"

"Anna I'll do anything for your school, and your life"

"Alright Darren Bibi and Anna will stay there, and promise me that you'll come back with us"

Darren overhears a conversation with Aunt Sarah and Anna, remembering that the day has begun at night and that Anna has to go to school tomorrow.
