A Female Emperor.

A Female Emperor.
Resuming the journey

The sun that slid to the west was now emitting a golden red glow. A swarm of birds flying in the air looks away following the sunset, leaving a black silhouette between the afternoon sky.

A breeze gently blew, hitting the face of someone who was now closing his eyes. After a while, the young man's eyes slowly opened. Slightly glancing around. His face was filled with a confused look, seemed dazed by his current state.

“What happened?” He stood up, holding his neck which hurt.

Then he looked around, his current position was right beside the tree belonging to the villagers. After that his gaze was pointed to the side, staring at a dog who was now sitting and was also staring at him.

“Where is the child?” Ask.

And as if understanding the young man's words, the dog barked in response. From then on he just sat there quietly and waited for his master to roar. On the other hand, the young man was still staring at the surroundings. His two eyes looked around fretfully—as if he was looking for something that had been lost.

“That kid, that little boy!” He exclaimed, immediately rising to his feet with a panicked face. “Where did the boy go?” Ask yourself.

Before he fainted, he remembered that if someone hit him hard on the neck, it was Li Ying. As he lowered his head and slightly bowed to get closer, his neck was suddenly struck just like that. The child's hand was small and very small. But who would have thought if such a hand would be broken if held it can issue a blow up to that hard. Even the target was precise, directly hit the weak point to make him faint instantly.

“I didn't expect that he could do that, as if he were trained. From the beginning I saw that the boy was already strange, there was nothing normal about him. How to stare, how to act, and how to talk as if he is not a child!” Her mutter that revealed his thoughts about Li Ying.

“I have to look for it immediately!” He was about to step up his legs, but only a few seconds he suddenly stopped his legs when he realized something.

“wait, is it afternoon?” He asked, his head looking up and staring at the ceiling that had now changed color.

Realizing this, he took a long breath. His gaze was still staring at the afternoon ceiling. And while remembering Li Ying's face in her mind she muttered again. “I don't know what you're thinking, but wherever you are I wish you were safe.” Said slowly.

The golden evening sky has now been lost replaced by night. The clouds and birds that passed over there were gone.—may be hiding. All that remained above the sky was now only a moon with tiny dots of twinkling starlight filling the dark sky.

And under the misfortune of the cold night wind, the sound of the swift running footsteps of the horse rang out. The rider now seems focused on looking straight at the front, there is no expression on his face, his mind is not guessed. Now he had gone quite far from where the young man was, only his current goal was unclear.

The little girl just drove her horse at high speed, enjoying the bad luck of the wind that hit her tiny face. Maybe if it was another child, they would cry out loud out of fear. Riding a horse at this speed is obviously dangerous. A slight loss of balance can fall and be severely injured. However Li Ying was different, he was already very expert. For him this is all just a game—a fun and challenging game.

Especially when he was running in the vast grassland, there was only an empty green field along the eye of the beholder. There are some trees, but not many and the distance between them is quite far. This was clearly the perfect place to madly race his horse at high speed.

“Hahaha, this is fun! Why didn't I just do it from the first?” He said while laughing cheerfully.

There was nothing that made him have to rush, he did not even know what kind of place he was heading to. But with this speed, his adrenaline was ridden. It was just that he could not constantly do this, from a distance of several tens of kilo meters he could see the densely lined grove of trees forming a forest. And behind the forest was clearly large mountains that lined up from end to end—like a wall that was restricting something.

“Hey, how about we get there?” Li Ying asked the horse he was riding. While the horse did not answer, it was natural that he was just a horse. But just as the companions understood each other, the horse itself ran in the direction Li Ying pointed at while increasing the speed.
