Also finished Shiki, an anime that has aired since July 2010 alias since last summer.
The final episode of 22 is called The Final Hunt. Until the last episode, I was speechless watching it.
Why did I get speechless? Because the storyline in each episode is difficult to guess and the more watched the greater the curiosity that is felt.
Here's the story 😉
👇
It tells the story of a small village called Sotoba where the entire population lives in peace and quiet.
It said that at night, the villagers do not need to lock the door of the house because there will be no crime
The oddity begins when the Kirishiki family has just moved to the village of Sotoba and occupies the house of Kanemasa, the village's only grandest and ancient European-style house.
17-year-old Shimizu Megumi, a girl who hates the village she lives in and always dreams of going to the city and becoming a city girl, suddenly goes missing.
The whole village is looking for Megumi and just found the results on the fifth day Megumi is missing.
The girl was found weak, but strangely she just kept quiet without asking for help.
The village doctor, Ozaki, diagnoses that Megumi is anemic and causes her current state of weakness.
Megumi's circumstances don't allow anyone to pry information about where Megumi went and what really happened.
Surprisingly, the next day Megumi was killed just like that. The cause of death is severe anemia.
Megumi's death left a deep sorrow for many, especially the Doctor who did not understand why Megumi died suddenly.
After Megumi's death, the village begins to be attacked by an oddity in which the citizens begin to come to the clinic with the same symptoms as Megumi.
The victims fall, almost every day there are people who died with the same symptoms.
The doctor who later found a type of insect bite on the body of the sick/dead residents concluded that the village was attacked by an epidemic/summer illness caused by insect bites.
But, the Doctor realized that those affected by the symptoms also experienced changes in their attitude, such as stopping work suddenly, not wanting to be taken to the clinic, not wanting to be treated, and so on, he didn't even want to tell anyone about the symptoms he was experiencing.
Natsuno Yuuki, Megumi's schoolmate who is also Megumi's crush, feels something strange after Megumi's death. The quiet and cold-tended Yuuki felt that Megumi was watching him through the window of the room, as the girl had always done in her life.
The number of deaths in the village during the summer is out of control, Doctor Ozaki begins to feel depressed, while Yuuki is increasingly convinced that Megumi is back alive and actually coming to her bedroom window.
Yuuki who starts to feel scared becomes a frequent stay at the house of his only good friend, Tohru.
Until one night, he dreams of Megumi emerging from under the closet in the room, then says that he hates Tohru and bites Tohru's neck with pointy fangs that appear from between his teeth.
After that day, Tohru did not attend school. His sister Aoi-chan says that her brother is too busy playing baseball games so sleepy and does not go to school.
After Tohru's death, the story gets more interesting, especially from ep.6 to 10 where the mystery within this village increasingly meets a bright spot.
Not only Yuuki, but also Doctor Ozaki who began to realize the possibility that the residents of Canemas is the cause of death of the residents.
Even the impression of horror was very pronounced when watching episode 04.
Just imagine suddenly from the window of the room and under the bed appeared a figure from another world.
Even I had goosebumps because my bedroom window had no curtains and was directly next to the bed.
Many residents of Sotoba who then died one by one but the residents of Sotoba do not realize that it is the actions of the shiki/okiagari.
At first they thought it was an epidemic.
Doctor Oozaki Toshio later proved that it was shiki after the Doctor experimented with his own wife who died and rose to shiki.
Watching episodes per episode of Shiki is really like in-troll let the audience curious.
And the culmination of the troll is in episode 18 because Doctor Oozaki really trolls the audience.
Just look at her smile in episode 18.
And after watching the troll of Doctor Oozaki in episode 18, the story began to change from a horror story about the terror of vampire bites into a bloody story, the story of killing or being killed and hunting or being hunted.
The human inhabitants of Sotoba turned to attack and stuck pegs on every shiki encountered.
The blood spilled, flowing everywhere.
People who are still alive but deceived by shiki are also brushed.
Bodies are everywhere.
But the Sotoba women can still enjoy tea and relax among the piles of corpses with bloodied hands.
Episode 22 or The Final Hunt that just aired again made me speechless while watching it.
Because I didn't expect it to end this way and hang.
Blood and sadism remain faithful appearing in episode 22.
And the most sadistic is when Megumi's fate must end at the wheel of a tractor.
