A Short Story Full of Motivation
Death is not the end of everything

Adrian sat by the window of his room, looking up at the cloudy sky. He felt something unusual today, as if an invisible presence was circling him. His 14-year-old age did not make him understand too much about such things, but he felt fear.

The past few days, Adrian had seen a shadowy figure in the corner of his eye. The faint voices that only he could hear, haunted his mind. She tried to tell her mother about her strange experience, but her mother only thought of it as children's imagination.

One night, while Adrian was in deep sleep, he was awakened by a terrible rumble. He jumped out of his bed and rushed downstairs. There, she found her mother lying unconscious on the floor.

"Mom! Mom, up!" adrian exclaims while trying to wake his mother. But there was no reaction. He panicked and tried to remember what to do in an emergency situation like this. He grabbed the house phone and called the emergency number.

When medics arrived, they immediately took her mother to the hospital. Adrian sat in the waiting chair with a pounding heart. He felt very alone and scared. His mind returned to the shadowy figure that had haunted him for the past few days. Does it have anything to do with his mother's circumstances?

After a few hours that felt like forever, a doctor approached Adrian with a serious expression on his face. "I'm sorry, Adrian," said the doctor gently. "Your mother has died."

Adrian feels his world is collapsing. He could not believe what he had just heard. Tears poured down from his eyes as he pondered about how fragile life was and how quickly things could change.

He felt lost and empty. Adrian walked home with a heavy heart. In her room, she sat on the edge of her bed and looked at the photo of her smiling mother. He felt so small and weak without his mother's warm figure.

On that night, Adrian was awakened by the presence of a shadowy figure in his bedroom. This time, he was not afraid. He felt that presence brought calmness. In the dark silence, the shadowy figure spoke to him softly.

"Adrian, I am your mother" whispered the figure in an affectionate voice.

"I will always look after you and protect you, even if I am no longer in this world," continued the shadowy figure with a soft voice.

Adrian felt his heart warm at those words. Even though her mother had left, she felt that there was an invisible force that remained with her. He held tightly to the photo of his mother and felt her presence in every single thought.

Days pass, and Adrian learns to face life without his mother's physical presence. She learned to cook, clean the house, and take care of herself. Although she still felt lonely at times, she continued to carry her mother's spirit in her heart.

Adrian also began visiting his mother's funeral regularly. In the warm sun, she sits beside her mother's headstone and talks about her day, school stories, and her future dreams. He felt that by sharing the story, his mother was still present in his life.

One day, while Adrian was sitting at the cemetery, he saw a little boy running among the tombs. The child seemed to be full of vigor and unencumbered by the weight of the world. Adrian smiles at her and remembers his own childhood.

He approached the little boy and asked, "Hi, what's your name?"

"I'm Kevin!" replied the little boy cheerfully.

"Did you come here often?" ask Adrian.

Adrian smiled and felt there was a strong bond between the two of them. She begins to spend time with Kevin at the funeral, sharing stories with each other, and supporting each other in their grief.

When Adrian was a teenager, he realized that death was not the end of everything. Even though her mother had left, she was still in her heart and at every step of her life. He learned to accept loss and make it a strength to grow and develop.

Adrian's story teaches us that although death can destroy us, we can still find strength in grief. The presence of our loved ones is never truly lost, as long as we keep reminding them in our hearts and let their love guide our steps forward.
