"Hey Dante." I smiled as I sat beside her but I only got a grim look in return. I forgot about what happened to him the other day.

"Sorry." I broke the silence between us. Dante finally looked up. "I'm sorry? It's my fault, not your fault" Sighed Dante as he rubbed his forehead full of pressure.

"I'm just mad because you can get out of it all and she can't." Dante glanced at me, I could see the pain in his eyes.

"I almost got it." I showed a bandage around my neck from where Ace had a knife.

"I knew he wouldn't do it." Dante rolled his eyes sadly.

"Why?" I almost said surprised.

"You think he is?" Dante jumped in shock.

"I thought I was going to die. He had no reason not to kill me." I shrugged my shoulders confused.

Dante sneered a little. "You two are blind to each other." Dante rolled his eyes while smiling.

"Buddy, can you put this up for me." Ace walked towards us still in his suit carrying a handwrap in his hand.

"I'm sorry, I don't know how, I asked the coach to help me pair it up." Dante was a little embarrassed.

"I'll do it." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Do you know how to dress your hands?" Ace looked surprised.

"Yes, my brothers used to make me bandage their hands before sparring, even though I myself never sparring or practicing seriously, it was forbidden." I rambled while grabbing Ace's white fist handwrap.

I slowly wrapped his hand before Ice entered the area.

Ace's entire mood instantly changed from relaxed to angry in a matter of seconds after seeing Ice. "Sorry, it's not my place to go in, I just don't want you to be soft on me." Ice apologizes to Ace immediately. He really looked like he meant it. "You're forgiven but if you do something like that again, you'll be killed, got it?" Ace's tone of voice deepened with his last few words. "Yes." Yeah." Ice nodded obediently. He turned around and walked back without defending himself.

"Lucky he's like a brother to me." Ace rolled his eyeballs, fed up with Ice.

"Why is he called Ice?" I was curious to try to finish her hand.

"Why do you think? He had no emotion and no mercy, his heart was icy cold" Ace sneered. "Ice is actually soft-hearted, she once loved a girl, but the girl broke her icy heart." Ace continued clenching his fists while I stared at the clenched hand I was trying to wrap.

I moved my fingers along Ace's knuckles, immediately drawing Ace's attention. The Ace hand opened a bit but I opened the rest enjoying our touch. Ace's breathing suddenly became slightly heavier than before.

"Be careful." I almost begged him.

Ace looked at my lips. "I understand." Reply slowly.

We stared at each other for a moment as my hands held her hands. I really don't want him to do this but I can't tell him to stop.

Ace's bodyguard doesn't seem to be bothered so why should I? I will always be worried about him.

"Give me your suit," I muttered as he turned around, taking off his tuxedo. Ace took off his tie and shirt to give him more movement and flow, I will never forget how perfectly sculpted his body was.

I felt my heart thump as he stepped into the ring, with only his boxing shorts and shoes, his hands wrapped up after changing clothes.

"I won't worry." Dante admitted to me with the most unimpressed expression on his face.

"Why?" I played my hand nervously.

"He's a Mafia King for a reason, you'll see." Dante left me while walking to the shooting section.

Ace had forgotten the guard of his mouth, I pulled him out of the ring while Ace returned to me, he opened his mouth and I put it in his mouth. He adjusted it before looking at me, Ace grabbed my hand and grasped it.

I don't want to see him get hurt, it's really a tough fight, they treat each other as if they were enemies. It is effective but also dangerous.

Ace slipped further into the ring. Some of them gathered to watch their leader's competition, including the*****-******* that's.

"Come Ace!" One of the ****** cheering. If he doesn't stay still, I'll throw another knife at him and won't miss it this time.

The man Ace was fighting looked extremely hyper, the man was swinging and Ace was dodging. It repeats for a while. Ace continued to throw punches at the man, making him look angry. The man became very frustrated and his swing became much more aggressive. I started to worry when Ace barely escaped a hard right punch.

I couldn't watch this anymore, I jumped down from the side of the ring, walked out into the hallway and walked down the empty corridor. I went to an empty room that seemed to be a resting place for the coaches.

I played my hand nervously while sitting on the floor of the room. A few minutes have passed and I wonder how Ace is doing. I hesitantly decided to go back in and watch from a distance as Ace finally swung a hard punch at the man and knocked him down.

I let out a sigh of relief. Ace looked confused as he looked around the room. Slowly I walked closer to the ring, I saw blood dripping from his mouth and he was still wearing his mouthguard.

"It's Ace." The girl poured water on him.

"Thank you."

I saw Ace smiling at him while picking up the water bottle. The girl screamed walking over to her friends with a big smile on her face. Ace looked at me unimpressed as he clenched his jaw and walked away from me.

"Is he mad at me?" I thought in my heart.

"Ace," I shouted.

"Aces." I said again as I grabbed her wrist to stop her from leaving.

"What!" His impact, take off his mouthguard.

"Why are you mad at me?" I asked her with a confused expression on my face. He rolled his eyes in annoyance before trying to leave once more.

"Ace" my hissing at him.

"You didn't even stay a minute!" Ace is angry with me.

"It's not your fault, I just don't want to see you get hurt." Jerked him.

"Sofia, I'm angry ok." Say Ace with his chest up and down, trying to regulate his emotions.

"Why didn't I do anything?" I said frustrations.

"Leave me alone." Ace muttered to me and tried to leave. I refused to stop and followed him even though he looked angry.

"Go!" Ace roared making me stagger back a few steps as he suddenly stopped and shouted at me.

I was silent for a moment, the flashback of my father's screams re-emerged in my memory. I was afraid of Ace, not intimidated, not ashamed, not nervous but just scared. I'm sure if Ice gave him a knife, he'd kill me right now.

I quickly regained my consciousness and walked out. My hands and feet trembled but not because Ace yelled at me, but because he remembered about my father. I feel like he's in front of me, not Ace.

Ice grabbed my arm as I walked down the hallway. "You saw it, right? That's Ace, a demon." Ice smiled looking at my pale face.

"He's not a demon and stop saying that, that sounds weird." I muttered while releasing my hand from its grip and continued walking.

I entered the same empty room I was in when Ace fought, leaning against the wall. I don't want to cry or do anything, I just want to go home right now.

I borrowed the phone of someone passing in front of me to contact Terry, asking him to pick up right now.
