ACE

ACE
Happiness

I finally reached Ace's residence. After entering the mansion, I went straight to the room, locked the door and watched movies all day. It's 12 p.m., and Ace's still not home.

Ace might still be mad at me. I'm not mad at him, I just feel surprised and

afraid of him for a moment.

My eyes struggled to stay open while I watched the movie.

Tok.dok..

I was woken up by the knock on the door that I guessed was Ace. I stopped the movie and sat on my bed.

"Sophia.." Ace's voice sounded very slow, like he was afraid to say my name. I didn't answer.

"Can you open the door?" He asked, his tone softer than usual. Slowly I walked to the door.

"Are you still angry?" I asked him from behind the door, probably sounding tired.

"No" Ace replied quietly.

I knew that his explosive anger was caused by his sadness and adrenaline, but it was unacceptable.

I unlocked the door, and quickly walked back to my bed.

Ace entered my room and closed the door behind him, all I could hear was the sound of the door creaking as the entire house was silent.

"Hey." Whisper Ace slowly.

"Hi." I answered while standing beside my bed. I just realized I'm wearing his hoodie now.

"I'm sorry." Ace ruffled his hair with great pressure, sitting on my bed.

"It's okay." Gerutuku.

Ace looked at me confused. "Are you okay?" He asked anxiously, glancing at my pillow to find out if there were any signs of tears.

"Yes." Yeah." I'm nodding. He looked at me for a moment before breaking the silence.

"I thought you could tell me about how badly I treated you there." Say Ace while rubbing the back of his neck.

"No, I've already accepted it. I've said that if I can't teach you how to be a good man, you have to do it yourself." I said with a demanding tone.

" I'm ... someone emotional, I think you know that." I'm Ace.

"It's okay as long as it doesn't happen again and sorry for not supporting you." I glanced at.

"I. I'm giving you a gift as an apology" Ace looked at me with his innocent eyes. "I've been planning this for a few days, so it's not because we're fighting." Ace admitted before removing the rectangular box from his pocket.

"Remember you said you didn't believe me when I was with women." Mumbled Ace slowly. I was confused as to what happened.

"It." Ace thrusts a box, which was taken from his pocket. Inside, there are two bracelets, one has a heart pendulum and a small keyhole in the middle. And the other bracelet has a key.

Ace took out the key bracelet and put it on my wrist. "The only way to open it is with this key," he explained as he gently held my wrist, smiling at the sight of my blushing face.

Ace took out a small chain that had a heart pendulum exactly like that bracelet, but in the form of a necklace.

"Wow." I gasped to take the necklace from her hand and put it on Ace's neck

"I thought you kept the key." I smiled happily at the bracelet on my wrist.

I can see that Ace is happy that I like the gifts he gives.

"It wasn't Ace Hernandez who chose a woman." He said flirtatiously. I rolled my eyes panted with a small smile on my face, and I saw a grin spread across Ace's face.

"Do you want to watch something?" I asked her as I lay on my bed.

"Yes." Yeah." Ace got into bed and fell asleep beside me, groaning as he let his whole body relax.

"You need to change your clothes first." My advice, because Ace is still wearing his suit.

Ace is back in shorts and a loose t-shirt, looking more relaxed. I realized that for the first time in years, I was feeling happy, lying next to Ace, someone I knew who would protect me from anything, including himself. Sometimes he scares me.

Ace was staring at the TV but I couldn't focus on watching the movie, Ace suddenly turned to me and started deciphering the movie piece by piece. We talked throughout the movie, and we didn't even notice the movie anymore.

"So who's the worst person you've ever slept with?" I asked curiously, putting my chin in my hand to prop up while smiling at him.

"Hmmm I don't know." Ace shrugged his shoulders, trying not to grin.

"How many girls are you sleeping with?" I raised an eyebrow at him while grinning.

"I don't know the answer either." Ace could not help his smile.

"Give me an estimate." I asked him, not too pushy. Ace muttered something but very quietly, making sure I didn't hear it.

"You did it on purpose." I pushed him around playfully.

"OK. ok." He answered, sticking his hand up for defense.

"More than 100 different girls." Ace. My jaw immediately fell upon hearing his words.

"100," My eyes were wide. "And you didn't fall in love with any of them?" I looked at him confused.

"Nothing," Ace made a face as if he didn't care.

"It's no wonder why you're never hugged." I rolled my eyes at him with a small smile.

"At least I've felt it." Ace muttered with a faint smile.

"Shut up!" My lips while glaring at him.

"I'm just telling you. Now how old are you, 17?" He muttered while licking his lips.

"Yes, almost 18." My gertutuku, folding hands like a child.

"I was 13 years old when I lost mine." Ace answered me.

"13! It was so young!" I flinched at him. Ace only chuckled lightly.

"I know," he shook his head as his smile faded.

"I can't imagine if I did 'it' at such a young age. My father would probably kill me." My happiness slowly faded from my face as I remembered all about my father.

"Then, it's not your fault." Ace gave me his gentle gaze.

"So tell me, why is it so easy for you to lose your virginity at such a young age?" I asked him to know more about Ace.

"My father believed that losing your virginity made you a 'man' in a messed up sense, so once I was big enough, he threw me into a room and that was it." Ace speaks carefully, perhaps being careful not to reveal too much.

"It must be terrible." I shook my head at that thought.

"No, I like it." Ace chuckled remembering it.

"But I wish I had saved someone I truly loved." His blue eyes stared intently at me as he finished his sentence .

"Well, it's no big deal, it only takes a few seconds to let go right?" I answered, trying to make her feel better.

"No, it was a big deal but I didn't know at the time. I still don't know." I could see he was sorry to say the last sentence.

"That's something you read only in books you know, connections, ties, until...."

Ace's words came to a halt, he was seen speaking truthfully while staring at the blanket on the bed, probably deep in thought.

"You're right." I agree, pay attention to his subtle actions.

"I like you the most, you know, of all the people I meet." Suddenly said. He could only smile at my words.

"I know." The answer is, looking at me intensely.
