ACE

ACE
Intense

I walked towards the dining room after I finished changing my clothes. I don't know the people in this house, but I'm going to have dinner with them.

Hard to believe

I saw a man like my father in the dining room, which I assumed was Ace's Father. His back was facing the kitchen entrance as he sat down. His aura was no different from Ace, very intimidating.

"Sofia, this is my husband, Kai." Denice.

"I'm Sofia." I answered quickly with a warm smile before sitting next to Denice.

I heard heavy and swift footsteps heading here from the outside of the room.

"Fucking Vipers." Grumpy Ace on his father before sitting down .

He clenched his jaws furiously, trying to calm himself down.

"Mama how was your day?" Ace asked, his tone changing as he spoke to his mother.

Ace clenched his hands together, putting his chin on it. Showing tattoos on his fingers.

I focused on my food and tried not to have any conversation or eye contact with Ace.

"So Ace....." Kai raised his voice from the end of the table.

I almost jumped because I suddenly heard Ace's father's voice.

Ace's cold gaze was pointing at his father.

"Who's your friend?" Kai, Ace's father asked curiously.

I avoided eye contact with him.

"What the ****do you mean who's your friend?" Ace shouted at his father.

"You're the one who made this fucking arrangement!" Ace was angry with his father.

I guess I was the only one forced to agree to it, it turns out that he was not too happy with this 'setting' either.

"That's not the way to talk especially with guests at the dinner table, Ace.” Kai teases Ace, trying to calm him down.

Ace stood up, his palms clenched indicating that he was restraining emotions.

"She's not a guest. She's my fucking fiance." Snapped Ace to his father before stepping out.

Ace's mother sighed desperately.

"You always make him mad." Denice shook her head in disappointment at her husband.

"He's too irritable." Kai replied while rolling his eyes.

"My son has a little problem with his emotions, if you don't know." Kai laughed at me as if I should have laughed.

"I think he's really grumpy." Suddenly I said

Kai turned his attention to me, feeling dislike for my words just now.

"I think I should call your dad." Spray Kai with his cold look at me.

Deg

I froze as soon as I heard my father's name.

"Kai!" Denice snapped, not liking the idea of her husband.

"Maybe I should ask her how she kept you quiet." Tegur Kai, with a small grin.

I didn't answer, because I was still in shock. I don't feel like I've said anything rude.

Then we heard a voice from the direction of the middle room.

"Get up." I heard a heavy voice Ace said with a woman.

"Of course it's Ace." Answer the woman obediently.

"Is that one of his whores?" Kai rolled his eyes as Denice sighed .

My eyes widened at Kai's question.

"Why my son and husband are so disrespectful to a woman." Denice shook her head in disappointment, she did not even touch her food.

"Ahhh let him, he looks very angry and heyy I have a lot of respect for women." Kai defended his son.

I wasn't disappointed by Ace's attitude, and didn't expect him to stop whatever he did for me.

It was just like he was asking me to stop doing what I wanted to do.

"What is it?" Kai put his chin in his hand.

“Can I continue my school?” I play my fingers nervously.

Kai laughed out loud.

Me and Denice looked at Kai until he stopped laughing.

"Oh wait, you're serious?" He stopped laughing while blinking curiously towards me .

"Yes, I enjoy school." I answered while shrugging my shoulders.

I admit that I love going to school because it's the only place I can be away from my father.

Kai thought about it for a moment.

"At least we don't need to see your face often." Gerrutu Kai while eating his food.

"Go." He chuckles softly.

"Thank you for the food." I smiled politely as I walked upstairs.

"You're too kind, dear." Denice replied as her husband was still laughing to himself.

Yeea I can go to school tomorrow.

As I climbed the stairs, I saw a woman who was barely wearing clothes leave with tears streaming down her cheeks.

He looked at me with a dislike look before running out of the house.

I looked at her confusedly while shaking my head.

“What did Ace do to him?” I thought in my heart as I opened the door to my room.

I saw a purse right on the bed, which I guess is Ace's. I shook my head, tempted to just throw it out of my room but somehow I wanted to see Ace.

I sighed in defeat as I walked down the hallway with his wallet in my hand.

I knocked on the door slowly, afraid to disturb him.

"What?" I heard a growl from behind the door.

Slowly I pushed the door. I saw Ace standing facing his window, bare-chested.

"Sophy." He muttered softly, my name slid so smoothly on his tongue.

"I didn't mean to bother you, I found your wallet in my bed, so I came to return it." I said to her explaining, lifting the purse slightly into the air.

Ace looked a little surprised. Slowly Ace walked up to where I was standing, towering above me.

"You passed the test." He said slowly as if he was thinking.

“What test?” I was confused, raising my eyebrows.

"Every time someone new comes along, I leave a wallet with money in their bed and see if they pick it up. But you don't?" He explained in a surprised tone at the end of his sentence.

"Oh." I muttered while shrugging my shoulders.

His gaze was extremely intense as he stood in front of me. He hasn't taken the wallet out of my hand.

"Ace, you have to be more careful with your money, I can just take it if I want." I said calmly while holding the wallet right above his hand.

He opened his palm and I deliberately dropped the wallet.

He leaned over, lips stopped right next to my ears.

"Well, that's the point." Whisper before turning around and sitting at his desk.

Deg

My body was shocked.

"Good night Sofia." Ace said from his desk while scribbling a piece of paper with his pen.

He glanced at me, waiting for an answer.

"Good night." I answered quickly as I walked out of his room.

I breathed a sigh of relief as I closed the door to my room. Everything about Ace is intense. Whether it was from his gaze to his touch.
