ACE

ACE
Combat

Haze took me to a building, almost like the one Ace was wearing

"Our group is called Vipers, specifically because we are all quiet, quick and cunning. It's okay if you are not perfect in everything for the first time, you will master it in the end. It all needs a process." Haze explained positively while taking me around, she showed me the room where they practiced boxing, throwing knives, shooting and they also did a pain tolerance test.

"I'm not good at fighting." I admitted shyly as we walked around.

"It's okay, you'll probably outweigh everything." Haze replied, smiling at me, making me feel better about this whole situation.

"Is that why Ace didn't put you in his organization?" Tanya Haze raised her eyebrows towards me.

"Yes, I think so." I lied while staring at the floor.

"It's Nina, she'll take you to your room." Haze introduced me to a tall, dark-skinned girl with curly hair located just above her shoulders. He looks very intimidating but is actually very good so far. She looked very similar to Haze from her facial features and smile.

"Hey, I'm Nina just like Haze said." Nina said, her gaze pointing at me. I just returned with a small smile.

"Haze doesn't usually recruit new people like this, maybe because you're so pretty." Nina continued, raising her eyebrows at Haze.

"He's good with knives." Haze grinned confidently.

"Oh, so you're good at the special skills that Haze has mastered." Nina smiled at me.

"Maybe I'm better." I blinked my eyes. Nina laughed out loud before seeing Haze's unimpressed expression.

Haze grinned and rolled her eyes before saying, "I've never really seen you use a knife, I just leaked what someone said." Haze glared at me playfully.

"I can't stand this temptation anymore." Nina walked out of the room.

"You're coming with me." Nina said to me while walking out.

"Yes." Yeah." I ran after her leaving Haze behind as she saw me chasing after her.

"Originally you know, we don't flirt with each other there. I just don't want him to be too hopeful." I said quickly, hoping not to give him the wrong thought.

Nina sneered "Haze likes you, I can tell by her attitude. " Nina told me as we walked down the hallway of the bedroom.

"Is he really like that?" I'm confused.

"I'm his twin brother, trust me." Nina rolled her eyes thinking about her twin sister but also had a slight smile that told me they got along.

I'm appalled. "You and Haze are twin brothers. I thought you two had something." I leaned on his shoulder while laughing.

Nina simply looked at me with disdain before shaking her head. "Ew that's so disgusting." He raised an eyebrow, shuddering after we finished laughing.

"Haze asked that your room be next to her, so enjoy." She said in a slightly seductive tone while winking before opening my room door. The room was nice, very bland but still comfortable

I sat on the bed, smelling the musty smell of the room overwhelmed me. I daydreamed, why can't I get Ace out of my head, this is a new chapter in my life and I don't need him in it, but thinking about him makes me so horny, we didn't even get to make love before I left. I know for a fact that he's amazing in bed with just what he can do with his fingers.

I wonder if Haze is good in bed...

"Jeez Sofia, stop your perverted thinking"

I said in my heart.

My daydream was broken when I heard the door open.

"Alright, Sofia. Official training begins tonight, we'll find out what your specialty is, but we'll start with a knife throw that requires more people if we want to be better than Ace's Organization." Haze said in front of my bedroom door with a naughty smile.

***

Right now I'm in a training room with Haze and maybe the Vipers.

We were all lined up, one by one, they started throwing knives at the props that were already available, and people couldn't even stick knives to the damn board.

"If any of you can make this throw, I'll take you to your next training." Hazevhtegrated me, knowing I wanted to go to my next training.

Finally it was my turn, Raul once taught me the saying to throw a knife appropriately. One for the heart, one for the head, and one for wherever you want to throw.

I clasped my knife. I threw the first one, landing in the middle of a heart shape drawn on the wood. Haze nodded in agreement, but I don't think he was impressed, it takes a lot to impress the Mafia leader with your skills. You have to have what they're looking for, if not, then that's shit. Next I threw the knife to the head and then the last one to the throat. I looked towards Haze who looked like a little grin.

"Why did you choose the throat?" Haze asked me even though she knew exactly why I did it.

"So she can't scream for help.and she runs out of blood sooner." I said confidently in front of the group.

"Well, he's Haze's favorite now."

Sayup-dyed I heard someone mocking. Correction, I've been her favorite.

I thought, everything about her personality became a special attraction for me. Yes, Haze has been very interesting since my first meeting with her. I won't keep my distance from him. If I end up having feelings for her, I will tell her.

"Now it's time for a fight with your bare hands" Haze told us all. "I'll put you up against each other and then fight one of my best trained men to see how you defend against them."

As Haze said, I saw some people fighting. They were clearly better at fighting than throwing knives. I need to improve my skills.

"Sofia vs. Taylor." Haze announced while observing the crowd, like looking for me.

"Yes." Yeah." I snuck under the rope and into the ring.

"I'm here." Taylor, a girl with short blonde hair enters the ring. I can beat him, hopefully.

"You fought each other empty-handed" Haze smirked wickedly.

I heard the bell ringing. I walked into the match ring and prepared to face him, my gaze flat showing no emotion in the slightest, trying to intimidate perhaps.

He stepped forward, throwing his fist at my face, but I quickly resisted the attack aimed at me. We both fought pretty fiercely. I rolled my eyes at Taylor who let her smallest smile slip away.

He stepped forward, it was my signal that he was going to give a punch. I ducked under his arm and gave my fist to his jaw, exactly. He stumbled back in a daze and was confused. I let him collect himself.

He held his jaw in shock at how strong I was. He probably thought I was weak because my posture was quite thin. He started swinging his fists again towards me, and collided with my cheeks.

Bugh

I stared to the side, looking at the floor with blood dripping from my mouth. It was then that I realized he had practiced boxing before.

Everyone watched intensely as the tension grew. Taylor just pissed me off, I looked at her straight away, letting her off guard. He thought it would hurt, little did he know my father hit twice as hard.

I'm not going to let him win, Taylor seems more confident. I forced him into a corner before he made a brutal shot into his ribs. She grimaced in pain, almost falling to the ground, I took the opportunity to knock her down. I immediately threw my fist towards his cheek, he fell to the floor, probably fainted.

I stared at the shocked audience with my jaw open. I touched my lips, there was pain around my lips, probably because of the blow.

"Am I bleeding badly?" I asked Haze who looked a bit pale.

"Yes. Can't you feel it?" He looked at me worried.

"No." I shrugged my lips with my own fingers.

"Come, clean yourself up. Continue the round." Haze told one of his men.

"Yes Boss." The man practically ran at Haze's orders.
