“So he has returned the money?” Kendrick clenched his hands tightly. “Where did he get that kind of money in such a short time?”

“I don't know, Ken.” Sean snorted softly.

The two men are currently at a cafe not far from Sean's office.

Kendrick deliberately asked to meet in person to hear an explanation from his best friend when last night he had just received the unpleasant news.
