Diah came to the hotel where Rajendra was staying.

“What are you coming for?” A cold welcome as usual. But Diah was not intimidated at all by Rajendra's attitude.

“Include, please,” sahut Sisil soft.

“Thank you, Sis.”

Diah sees Rajendra sitting on the sofa accompanied by black coffee whose smoke is still billowing with a distinctive fragrant aroma.

“What?” ask Rajendra without looking.

“You did all this, right?”

A grin rose on Rajendra's lips, he looked up at Diah who was now throwing an equally sharp gaze.

“You're smart, Diah. Indeed I did it,” he replied casually.

“With child do not be like this. The more you press Kendrick, the more he'll fight back. The flames of hate and romance are both blazing, lest what you do make you further away from Kendrick.”

“Do not interfere, Diah!” snapped Rajendra with glaring eyes.

“I don't want to interfere, but what you treat like is my son. I took care of her, I taught her to walk, even though she wasn't born from my womb.”

“He's my son, you better shut up and shut the fuck up.”

“The more you act over the line, don't blame Kendrick for hating you. We as parents should occasionally succumb to children, not children who continue to succumb and obey our desires. Parents are not always right, so is the child, he is not entirely wrong. Just drop your ego for the sake of Kendrick's happiness.”

Rajendra was silent when Diah poured out his heart. The woman's eyes even glazed over holding back the crying that wanted to spill.

“You don't know anything, Diah!”

“What don't I know? Whaaat! Say!” snapped Diah loudly unwilling to budge.

“Only women are worth it who can be with him. Had he come from a comparable strata, I would not have challenged them. About the status of the widow owned it is not a problem.”

“Harta, throne, world, that's all you keep thinking about! Don't you think about your son's feelings at all?” diah asked weakly, her head shaking repeatedly.

“I think about it, that's why I want the best.”

“Best for you is not necessarily good for him.”

“Silence Diah. Stop interfering!”

Diah shook his head weakly. “I didn't expect you to be this bad,” muttered slowly as he got up from the sofa.

“Do whatever and you will see destruction before your eyes.” Diah left after saying what she wanted to say.

Sisil approached Rajendra and rubbed his arm gently. “Once you have to silence Diah the outrageous,” he said softly but poisonous.

“What do you mean?”

“You are right,” sahut Rajendra after a long silence.

Sisil silently smiled. “Are you going to leave the leadership seat empty? It doesn't seem like a good thing, considering our competitors haven't heard about Kendrick's pullback. If this news gets leaked, I don't know what will happen.”

“I'll be back!” firmly Rajendra replied, making a smile on Sisil's lips instantly fade.

“We are old, should the problem leave it to the young. Let them take care of it.” Still trying to influence, hoping there is a little blemish to smooth out the veiled intentions that have been drawn up.

“I can't hand over that chair to anyone other than my descendants!” sahut Rajendra cold.

“But Andrean is also your son,” said Sisil.

Immediately Rajendra woke up quickly, staring coldly at Sisil. His old hand gripped the woman's jaw violently while smiling viciously.

“How strongly do you deny it, Andrean is not my son. You married me already pregnant with a child who does not know who the owner of the seed,” snapped hard to make Sisil sob softly.

“But everyone knows he's your son too, even if you don't admit it.”

“That's because I don't want to hold back the shame that my newly married wife turned out to be pregnant with another boy!”

Rajendra went away with emotion after swearing and cursing at his wife. While Sisil was just bowed in anger, he wanted to fight but was powerless to do so.

...✿✿✿...

Ghea Sicilian Tjokro, a woman of Indonesian-Italian descent was married by Rajendra for a family matchmaking. Sisil is only an adopted child who is used for the benefit of the family.

Matchmaking for the sake of business is on the basis of mutual symbiosis, both mutually beneficial.

But just a month married, precisely the woman was known to have been pregnant for two months. It makes Rajendra angry and feel cheated. But Sisil insisted that it was his son, even he did not hesitate to bribe doctors to make false statements that said the age of pregnancy was the same as their marriage age.

But Rajendra still refused even until the child was born, he would not admit it. After the birth of the child, Rajendra gave Sisil two options.

Make the boy go or he'll go. Sisil decides to keep Andrean away and to hold on for his own sake.

The child was only given a surname, but never really acknowledged. Even its existence was hidden from the world, only certain people knew about it.

Two years later Sisil was pregnant again, but at that time Rajendra also made the mistake of sleeping with Denisha to conceive Kendrick.

Sisil tried hard to get Denisha eliminated, but instead all the plans turned on her.

Sisil was in an accident and had to lose a child in the womb as well as her uterus. Having no other choice, Rajendra must accept the child in Denisha's womb to continue his lineage.

But at Kendrick's birth, Denisha could not be saved because Sisil had poisoned the woman. Wishing the mother and child would die so as not to work on it. But God said something else until all the plans failed.

However, Rajendra and Sisil refuse to take care of the red baby until Diah has to take care of him. Rajendra is responsible for all the needs of his son, but never really loves him.

Until Kendrick's teenage years, everything changed.
