In the room where the lights had been partially switched off, Agatha sat still with a dizzy head.

After his talk with Christopher Winston this afternoon, he was worried about his decision.

He has not given an answer to the offer, but if he thinks back there is no other way. Gabriel had already sent him a stack of documents regarding the Winston family, about the company they managed, as well as the Winston family's work that was mostly managing the pharmaceutical company itself.

Mr. Winston and his wife were eminent surgeons, before dying even Mr. Winston made a laboratory for his wife. This lab was what Christopher Winston had offered him.

With this all Agatha had no reason to refuse or be suspicious of them anymore.

That nice.

But the worst part was the condition that the man put forward for her to accept his proposal.

Why should I ask for it? Does that guy think this is a joke? How does he ask for cooperation compensation to be a personal matter?

It would be best if the man asked for the benefits of normal cooperation.

Even the man refused when Agatha filed for a profit share of more than 50% that would be given to her. She persisted in her wish for Agatha to accept her proposal.

I just want you to accept my proposal, Agatha.

It's not like we'll get married soon if that's what you're worried about.

Accepting my proposal will only change your status to my fiancee, not my wife. And we can talk about the wedding later when you're ready.

That was what the man said before he left.

And now Agatha thought hard to avoid this decision, but what about Senna Rod? He can't make Senna Rod fall.

Can't do.

It felt like Agatha wanted to throw herself out of the glass wall and slide down to the ground floor.

This is not a solution.

This is a solution that will only lead to new problems.

God fucking.

His phone vibrated showing a message notification from Joshua.

Agatha sent her best friend home first because she wanted to be alone now.

Agatha stared at her computer screen, an email from Senna Rod reporting the special medical stock would only last for a month. And that made Agatha even more depressed.

After exhaling a long, tired breath, Agatha reached for her phone to contact someone.

A cold wind blew that night through the open glass window.

Agatha stared out with a flat face, she seemed to have lost half her sanity as she was now in the car with Christopher Winston.

The two had been in front of Agatha's apartment building since thirty minutes ago.

Christopher Winston did not understand why the woman called to take him home, but after that he did not even come out or speak a word.

"Agatha, do you want me to come in?"

Agatha did not answer and just stared out. It was hard to judge his facial expression.

Christopher looked at the woman beside him confused, he did not want to conclude anything and could only quietly wait.

"I accept your offer, Mr. Winston."

"Eh-what? I didn't hear wrong, Agatha?"

The woman turned her body to face Christopher Winston, looking at the man right in her eyes before her brown bead turned the other way, "After consideration for Senna Rod's sake, I accept your offer."

"You accepted my proposal?" a bright smile could not be hidden by Christopher when he heard Agatha's reply, even his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"I've received an offer of cooperation from you."

"Yes, that's what I mean, which means you accepted my proposal. Oh-thanks Agatha!"

Agatha looked back at the man but did not show any expression. He himself was not sure why he had made this decision as if there was another part of him moving to take over his consciousness.

"I hope you prepare the lab soon, Mr. Winston. I don't like to put off work."

"Alright, I'll prepare it as soon as possible so you can use it."

"I hope you didn't take this opportunity to cheat or take us down. If you do that then I will destroy you myself" Agatha said coldly but did not shed a smile on Christopher Winston's face.

"You can trust me, Agatha."

"Alright, tomorrow I'll have Joshua send us our cooperation papers. Well then, good night, Mr. Winston," after saying it Agatha was about to come out but Christopher held her back.

"Wait for Agatha, since you've accepted my proposal shouldn't our families meet?" tanyakanya.

"We can talk about that later."

Agatha groaned inwardly, she did not think of this. He thought his answer to Christopher Winston was enough to start this cooperation, he forgot that this would involve his family.

But this is still a collaboration and he is sure to be able to overcome this problem later after this business is finished.

"Take care of you, Mr. Winston."

"All right, I'll set it up. And one more thing Agatha, because you've accepted my proposal so call me by my name. I'm tired of hearing you keep calling me Mr. Winston."

Striking quietly and cursing inwardly, Agatha grabbed the door and opened it. Removing one arm that had been held by the man and then came out.

"All right, good night Christ."

After saying that Agatha passed towards her apartment. Leaving Christopher Winston with a big smile and a feeling bubbled up in his heart.

The man shook his head slowly and combed his hair back. Staring at the reflection of his face full of smiles from glass.

Really he did not expect Agatha to answer this quickly because when giving the terms of the offer she did not one hundred percent hope. He also knew the possibility of Agatha rejecting him was greater. But who would have thought if the results were inversely proportional to his expectations?

She could never guess an Agatha Anderson.

Christ's?

The call inexplicably sounded sweet in his ears even though Leon, his mother and brother also called out so but it felt different.

It was as if there were hundreds of butterflies tickling her stomach upon hearing Agatha pronounce them.

One step closer.

And I'll make you mine, Agatha.

Turning on the engine, the man drove his car back across the night street. Her flowery heart made her ride comfortably, until then she connected a cell phone call to someone.

"Leon, I need you now. Go to my apartment and bring me some wine."

Then still with a smile on his lips, the man turned off the call. I can't wait to get this news to my cousin.

"So what else did you do to get me to bring wine here?" gerutu Leon when opening the door of Christopher's apartment with both hands carrying a paper bag containing wine ordered by his cousin.

But a strange sight was being seen before him.

Christopher was arranging the dining table with some dishes that seemed to be cooked by the man himself.

"You why?" he hesitated and walked closer.

"Oh, my beloved cousin. Sit down, I've prepared dinner for us" replied Christopher lightly making Leon frown in surprise.

"Are you okay, brother?"

"Yes, I'm in good day. Really good day."

Still astonished Leon observed the movements of his cousin who occasionally smiled to himself. It was as if his body was very light to move in the kitchen.

"What's? Don't make me think you're crazy, Christ."

"Wait a minute, I'll explain," then after putting down the last dish and removing the apron, the man sat down before Leon and took out the wine, opened it and poured it in the glass he had prepared.

"He accepted me."

"What's? Who's taking it?"

"Agatha Anderson, she accepted my proposal."

"What?!"

"I'll arrange a family meeting, and I'm asking you to set up mom's private lab. Take out our equipment because the people from MediCe will be occupying it."

"Huh? Wait for Christ, explain one by one. What's the matter exactly?"

Before long the man explained everything from the beginning to the deal he offered and ended his accepted proposal. Making Leon who was devouring dinner almost choke on hearing that.

"You're really manipulative Christ! How can you propose cooperation for your personal interests? It's not like you."

"Yeah, I know it's a little deviant from my personality. And as I said before that I didn't expect a hundred percent on the result but luck walked right up to me."

"But that means Agatha only considers this part of the cooperation, not her pure desire to accept your proposal."

"True, it's not a problem because I'm going to make her fall in love with me. And I'm not gonna let go."

"You're really obsessed with him? I've never seen you chase a woman like this."

"It's not an obsession, Leon. I've loved him for a long time."

Yeah, it's been a while.

And after all the difficulties he faced to find Agatha.

Eventually fate begins to side with him, and he hopes this time fate will not disappoint him again.
