Joshua flipped through the documents in his hand, making sure what he had just read was something valid.

Personal documents from Mikael Dean Olivander.

A man who is almost three months close to his best friend, Agatha.

And it had become his custom to investigate anyone who approached Agatha, not nothing but his guardianship of her best friend.

Mikael is not someone with high status, he lives in a social parlour house. It is not known who her biological parents were, only legally appointed to be Anna's madam since being discovered as a baby.

Not speechless since birth, when he was a child he could still speak only when he was three years old he had a traffic accident with Anna's madam which injured his vocal cords and made him lose the ability to speak.

Despite having flaws, Mikael is a child with extraordinary intelligence so as to cover up his shortcomings.

It is also what makes Mikael can enter the Medical department which is classified as difficult.

He has a foster brother who is also in the same department.

Mikael works part-time at a florist on the sidelines of his college and also his job of looking after his adopted sisters to help Anna's madam.

A pretty good reputation in Joshua's eyes and also harmless. But Joshua was doubtful of Agatha's true purpose.

His best friend was never once interested in social relationships let alone start a friendship. And it seems that in the case of Mikael is an exception.

His phone on the vibrating table displayed a message notification from Agatha.

'Let's pick me up at Anna's madam house huh.'

'Mikael and I are still working on the duties of Anna's madam.'

Joshua let out a sigh, just look at it now that Agatha spends more time with Mikael. Agatha sometimes went to foster homes with him when Mikael was busy with her activities.

Grabbing the keys to his car Joshua went to the madam Anna's house because he himself felt quite comfortable being there.

"You okay carrying that alone? I can help you" asked Agatha as Mikael carried a cardboard box of books they had just bought for the children in the home.

Mikael smiled and shook his head. There is a charity carried out by Anna's madam foster home every month that is donating children's books to other foster homes in need.

It may sound strange because they themselves are foster homes. But the state of Anna's madam foster home is not like other foster homes that need social funds as a factor supporting its operation, Anna's madam foster home is not like that.

This house is very well-sufficient because of all the efforts of Anna's madam as its owner. She took care of and raised nine of her foster children like her own. Even from the outside they will not look like other foster home children. Madam Anna is a psychologist on the side as a foster home owner. Madam Anna also owned a bakery she managed to support their income. All of his kindness to set up a foster home was purely due to his kindness as well as his interest in the disadvantaged little ones.

And at the home there are now three adult children, Anggie, who has worked in a real estate company but still choose to live and help in the home, Mikael and Felix who happened to be the same age, three others were 14 years old, two people were 10 years old and one was a toddler.

That's why when Anggie is still busy working, Mikael and Felix will be in charge of helping Anna's madam.

Finally Mikael took out his note after he had refrained from talking to Agatha with his hands carrying the cardboard.

'Are you okay following me this often?' he asked through the notes he presented to Agatha.

"No, why? You're feeling distracted?"

The man hurriedly shook his head at Agatha's words then went back to writing, 'I'm happy with your help. Thanks.'

'But I'm worried about taking up a lot of your time, because our home activities are so much. You must be busy, right?'

"I'm fine, why are you worried while I don't mind? I'm also happy to be with your other brothers."

'I'm afraid Joshua will be angry.'

"Joshua's? Why should he be angry?"

"Because it seems like I took a lot of your time away from her, ' replied Mikael who left Agatha astonished. How could this man even think like that? Then Agatha laughed lightly making Mikael look at her asking.

"Jeez Mikael, you're worried about unnecessary things. Overthinking is not good for your health," he replied still with a small laugh.

The man frowned in annoyance but then smiled. His hands were again busy writing on his notes again.

'You know Agatha? You're the girl with the most fun personality I've ever met. You're kind and you like to do things differently than most girls.'

"You mean I like to argue and nag? Blame Joshua then for teaching me everything."

'It's not so, emm.it might be one of them but you're different. You with all your charms are different Agatha. I liked it.'

And Agatha felt the heat running down her cheeks and the scribbling of the man next to her. Oh come on, it's just a compliment why does she feel this shame? Joshua often praised him too right?

"Ehem, so you like my charm? Or do you like me?" ask her then in a tone she tried to sound as cold as possible. Even the inside of him screamed from embarrassment.

Stunned for a moment Mikael stared at both Agatha's brown beads, then a line of smiles engraved on her lips. This time he put down his notebook and started moving his hands.

'I like you. Everything about you, Agatha' she replied using sign language while Agatha looked at her with a questioning gaze.

"Ah, what does it mean? I still don't know sign language" she said, complaining of cheating if Mikael used sign language instead of writing it down. Does that mean something bad?

Now the man laughed until his always sparkling bead looked narrowed. Indeed no sound was heard, but Agatha could feel the beautiful voice that accompanied the handsome face beside her. And for a moment Agatha felt the air space around her narrow but there was another feeling that burst out and energized her.

Michael.

An unexpected person in his life.

Someone who has a magnet pulls and makes him want to know.

A person who has a different world to him but is much more beautiful and simple.

Everything about Mikael is new.

Everything interesting.

And Agatha was convinced that she could no longer be far from this man.
