Agatha Anderson — Chaotic Holiday Plans

...My life has been so hard before. And I think it'll be a lot harder after I meet you....

...—Agatha—...

.......

.......

.......

At seven in the morning.

Agatha was still comfortable in her blanket rolls. Actually he had been awake since then but considering this his holiday then he wanted to laze for a while. Joshua had already sent him a message that his best friend would go for water sports later and offered him whether he would be willing to join. Of course he happily refused because he planned to spend time at the resort or maybe just take a walk to enjoy the beauty of the beach.

Agatha will close her eyes again when her phone vibrates again, eliciting a notification from Joshua again.

'If you don't want to come with me, don't go anywhere alone. I know you're not a child but the chances of you missing are much greater than a child'

Oh come on, why isn't Joshua having fun instead busy worrying about him?

'Yes yes, I will stay here. Just enjoy your vacation and do not be noisy, Agatha wrote.

Truly this Joshua prefers nagging from Gabriel.

'All right, just watch out for you disappearing when I get back. I won't look!' threaten Joshua at the end of his message.

Agatha threw her phone and stretched her body. He never lounges because every morning is always pursued by a work schedule. And plus he never wanted to take a vacation.

'No want'

Once again the phone vibrated, this time a phone call. Agatha resentfully grabbed her phone that she had previously thrown.

"What else Josh? Don't bother me! I'll just shut up and not go anywhere, so stop worrying and have fun!"

"... Agatha?"

Not Joshua.

Agatha immediately kept the phone away from her ear, Damn! Christopher Winston's!

"O-oh.hai, good morning Christ," he replied later, cursing at himself who did not see first the name of the caller.

"You've been so angry so early? What's up?"

"Sorry Christ, I mistakenly thought you were Joshua."

There was a little laugh on the other side, "It's okay, I have to get used to it, right?"

What does it mean? — inner Agatha who feels ashamed.

"So why are you calling me so early in the morning?"

"You didn't forget what I said last night, did you? I'll accompany your vacation today."

Agatha groaned inwardly, damn it! He had completely forgotten what happened last night, but he had imagined what it would be like to relax all day.

"Can't it be canceled?"

"Why? You got another show?"

Agatha kept her phone away to let out a slow sigh, how could this man not interfere with her life?

"Nothing, I just want-to take a relaxing vacation Christ."

"I'm not going to ask you to do anything serious. Get ready now, we have to have breakfast."

"But Christ! Wait!" Agatha had not even said anything and the man had already turned off his cell phone.

Now Agatha literally threw her phone on the nightstand by her bedside. Who was that man who dared to tell this? Joshua wouldn't even bother him while he was resting, so there was no reason if he had to obey Christ's words. Pulling the blanket back, Agatha intended to continue her sleep.

Agatha squirmed softly and stretched her body, the gust of wind making her wake up. It feels good to be able to sleep a little longer like this. Just as Agatha sat down to look at the clock, her brown bead caught the figure of someone in her living room.

"CHRIST?!"

Surprised to find the man waiting for him with a glass of cold drink in hand,

"How did you get in? A–ah yes, I forgot that you're an expert at breaking into other people's privacy."

"Awake? I waited for 2 hours but you made fun of me?" the man walked up to him who was now a hundred percent aware of his sleepiness.

"I told you I'm off, didn't I?"

"But I don't want to."

"Why bother me on my day off, come on Christ let me relax. Though I've been working so hard to get Joshua to go out on his own."

"I've asked Joshua for permission to accompany you and he says I can take you anywhere today."

Agatha rolled her eyes, how could her best friend always betray and choose to side with Christopher Winston. Agatha walked into the kitchen and picked up a glass of drinking water, ignoring the man who had been staring at her since.

"So you're not going anywhere?"

"Alright I'll accompany you here. And since it's 11 o'clock you better take a shower, honey. We'll have breakfast at lunch."

"Christopher Winston!"

"Yes?"

"I don't like you haphazardly calling me!" agatha said firmly and looked straight at the man who actually smiled broadly at her. Christ walked forward until they stood face to face.

"But I like you, Agatha," then Christ twisted Agatha's body and pushed her towards the bathroom. "Hurry up and clean yourself up so we'll leave immediately."

"Don't set me up, Christ!" Agatha tried to resist but her strength was not enough.

"Hurry up, darling. Or do I want to help you?" christ whispered right next to Agatha's ear making the woman tickle and stomp her foot into the bathroom.

Christ laughed lightly at the woman's annoyance. It's disturbing Agatha so much fun.

The two are currently on a ship specially prepared by Christ. And in the end despite the lingering annoyance, Agatha followed the man now.

Some people who recognize them are a little overreacting. Agatha even started to think that it seemed like Christopher Winston was better suited to be an actor or whatever it was because this man had a lot of fans.

"How do I eat if those people keep staring like we're artists?" agatha said sarcastically because she kept seeing some people who stole adoring views on them.

"You're uncomfortable? I'll tell them to go, "and then the man goes inside and talks to someone, before long the people who were in the activity took turns to come in.

"A lot of new staff and they still can't control themselves. Sorry to make you uncomfortable."

"Hm."

After the meal, Christopher forces Agatha to go to a sports facility in the water. Which of course was rejected outright by the woman.

"Where are you going? Looking around town, shopping maybe?"

"I told you I didn't want to but you insisted, so it's up to you to go."

"Because we don't want water sports, how about we just go around looking at the beach around?"

Agatha simply flicked her shoulders in response. He did want to take a walk around the beach but not with this man. It seemed like the image of a wonderful holiday in his head had already evaporated with the presence of Christopher Winston.

"Agatha."

The one summoned only turned his head without any intention to answer but his gaze was waiting for the sentence that would come out of the man's mouth.

"I want to ask and I hope you're not angry. Just say the logical thing later so I can understand it."

"Depends on what you're gonna say, Christ."

Christ seemed worried for a moment but soon his lips returned to reveal a small smile. Agatha was actually quite surprised why this man always smiled when he never replied or was nice to her.

"It's about our cooperation and engagement."

Hearing that, Agatha knew where this conversation was headed and she had yet to prepare an exact answer for this. He wanted to end it but now he knows that the ones involved in this relationship are not just them. Agatha knew very well the happiness felt by her father and in the deepest corner of her heart she was happy to see the happiness of the Father. Winston who since their meeting made Agatha convinced that the woman was kind and sincere so Agatha felt uncomfortable if she had to imagine the woman being disappointed later.

But his heart could not lie. He doesn't love Christopher Winston. Can't do.

His heart was still tied there, still a fragment that could not possibly be whole again. And wouldn't it be so evil if this self who can't fall in love is bound to a relationship?

Even if Christopher Winston is an annoying person but he does not deserve unfair treatment like this let alone this about the heart.

"Agatha..."

Christ might be able to get another woman if they decide to end this partnership, but what about their parents?

"Agatha..."

Now various voices and questions appear in Agatha's head, damn it.

He has not been like this for a long time, ah—Joshua! Agatha needs Joshua now that her head is getting dizzy hearing these voices. Agatha tried to control herself by clinging to the iron fence of the ship.

"Agatha, are you okay?"

Christ's voice even sounded distant and so soft. He needs Joshua now, he needs his best friend now.

"Agatha, LOOKOUT!!!"
