...Meeting you was so difficult. I have to be at the intersection of life and death to see you....

A ray of light greeted as Agatha opened her eyes. A little dazzling before his eyes got used to it.
'Where? Ah... madam Anna's house — inner Agatha upon realizing her existence.
A gentle touch on his arm made him turn his head from his sleeping position in the living room.
'You're awake?' the young man asked the warm smile with a movement of his hand.
"Yes, why didn't you wake me up? Where are the others?" his question went to sit properly so that the young man could take his place beside him.
'I'm sorry, you look so tired. I can't wake you up. They are all asleep, said madam Anna you may stay over because it is too late, ' said the young man still with a gentle face full of sincerity.
"What time is it now?"
'At 10 p.m. You want to go home? I can drive you.'
Agatha fell silent and weighed in, yes she was in this house after the health visit earlier this afternoon. He came straight home from college to help. He really likes to be here which for him is more alive and feels like home.
"I actually want to stay the night but father and Gabriel will definitely kill me later, you know how they are?" his question was answered by the wide grin of the man beside him.
'Don't say that, it's proof that they love you and take good care of you.'
"Keeping what? I locked it up."
'All right, let's take it.'
"Wait for Mikael, why the rush? I'll have Joshua pick me up anyway" he said, who then picked up his phone and sent Joshua a message.
Agatha still wanted to linger with this young man and it felt like every time she was with Mikael her feelings had always become lighter and not worried about anything. It was as if Mikael's existence was the best protection.
"You're not sleeping?" he asked when the young man looked at him.
'Later, I wasn't sleepy. Can I ask you something?'
"What?"
Mikael looked doubtful and after weighing for a moment, the man moved his hand again, 'Why do you want to be friends with me?' after asking that question Mikael looked uncomfortable but continued.
'I mean why me? You have a good reputation based on my recent observations. Many can be your friends.'
Agatha seemed to be trying to understand Mikael's question before positioning herself to sit facing the young man.
"Didn't you like being friends with me?" his question was in the end and answered with a hasty trinket from Mikael.
'Ain't! That's not what I mean, I'm happy to be friends with you Agatha, it's just that I wonder why a girl like you would want to be friends with me, I'm just a kid who grew up in a foster home and I can't talk.'
Agatha fell silent, she never imagined Mikael would think that way. Was this young man before him feeling insecure? Wh why? Did he seem insincere while he was beside Mikael?
"Why do you think so? I choose people who are my friends. And if you've been watching me, the number of people is not much," heard that Mikael smiled faintly but his gaze now looked down at his fingers that were intertwined.
"You belong there, and that means you're a special person."
'Isn't it because you feel sorry for me? Or are you interested because of my different background?'
Agatha blinked, it really seemed like Mikael was being weird. This young man was always positive-minded and rarely thought about the perception of others over him. Why is he like this now?
"Why do you think that, do I look insincere to you?" this time Agatha asked with a slightly claustrophobic feeling, if it was true Mikael thought so about her.
'Precisely because you're sincere. There are better things than me out there, but you're here with me.'
Mikael is now staring straight at Agatha's brown bead, 'I fear wishing more on your sincerity, Agatha.'
And the sentence delivered by the young man made Agatha flabbergasted. All this time Agatha met in her life were people who always expected more of her, expecting high results and expectations just because she was an Agatha Anderson. People who just want to benefit from it and sometimes openly ask for help from it. But this young man before him was actually afraid because he hoped for her?
The young man before him shook his head softly, "That's because you're different. Different in a sense that is thousands of times better than all of them. That's what I see of you."
'But I'm not that kind of person. I'm just a disabled young man who went to college on a scholarship and also lived in a home with no parents. I'm not as special a person as you think, Agatha.'
"Mikael, do you think so? Don't you believe that I'm sincere with you? I didn't look at you the way you said before."
"Because in my eyes, you are a good person, you see me for who I am and you teach me so many new things about life."
'Is that how you judge me...?'
Agatha nodded in response. His eyes looked straight at the young man before him who looked still doubtful. Many people may question their relationship is getting closer.
Agatha was aware that many were talking about her behind the back without realizing that Agatha knew all. Long before this, many people have criticized his closeness to Joshua especially now he is close to Mikael. Speechless youth from a foster home and college underwritten by scholarship. More and more people are saying that she was close to Mikael just for the sake of pity, seeking attention through friendship.
And it was because of those rumors that Agatha chose who could be her friend. Because most of them just wanted to be friends with him for profit.
Fake friend, fake people.
But Mikael is different and Agatha likes him.
"I can promise you that I'll always be with you Mikael" she said as she extended her hand to Mikael.
'Promise...?'
"Yes, I never lie and always keep my word."
The young man grabbed Agatha's hand gently but then placed it back on her lap.
'If you say something like this, I expect you more. I'm just afraid of getting hurt because of my hope.'
'If you're nice to me. I'm afraid I'll like you and fall in love with you, Agatha.'
'I'm sorry if hearing this makes you uncomfortable with me. I'm just—'
Mikael did not have time to continue the movement of his hands to talk when suddenly the girl in front of him hugged him tightly.
"You can hope for me. You can fall in love with me" whispered Agatha.
Mikael froze for a moment, unsure if this was real or just his imagination. But as she felt the girl's arms getting tighter and tighter, Mikael's hands slowly rose and returned the embrace with her heart pounding incoherently.
Both of them remained silent for a long time in the same position. Each one of them was busy convincing themselves.
Agatha first took off her embrace and looked at Mikael who was still a little hesitant.
"You want to be the only special person for me?" the question was a little stiff because it was really the first time he liked someone to state it like this.
"Can...?"
Once again Agatha nodded, actually she was nervous yet she did not want to look so and set her expression to remain ordinary.
"I'm Agatha Anderson, from today's is the lover of Mikael Olivander.
And the sentence was able to make Mikael so surprised, that Agatha once again embraced him to convince him that she meant it.
"You know, I've never been close to any man but Joshua. And I think you're my first now."
Unable to reply with sign language, Mikael simply nodded in response. A beautiful smile was now engraved on the young man's lips, implying the happiness he now felt. He tightly embraced the body of the girl who had just expressed love to him.
May God not jokingly send Agatha for her.
