Agatha Anderson
Agatha Anderson — Clarity

I believe that waiting for the right person is worth it.

Even if it were for you, thousands of years would do it.

Joshua nodded his forehead slowly, his head throbbing after receiving the doctor's explanation of Agatha's condition.

Thirty minutes ago after checking and giving Agatha a sedative, the doctor asked her to speak. Agatha's physical condition is fine, but apparently not so with her psychic.

Due to lack of oxygen and unconsciousness for the previous two days, Agatha experienced short-term time disorientation. There are no serious triggers that can cause this. Unconsciousness alone is an awkward thing because according to doctors Agatha did not experience any trauma due to the fall.

Joshua had already told Gabriel this, and of course the eldest son of the Anderson family could only accept resignedly. Because he takes care of his father himself.

Once out of the doctor's room, he is greeted by a frustrated-looking Christopher at the door.

"So what's the condition? How's it?"

Joshua looked at the man before him before sighing softly, "Can we talk about something else before I explain to you Christ?"

"Otherwise Josh, don't make me look like a fool here."

"I didn't mean it that way."

The two sat in front of Agatha's room.

"Christ, what really happened that day? What are you guys doing?"

"Joshua, how many times do I have to explain that we're just talking. I wanted to ask her about my seriousness in this relationship. Even I haven't had time to ask it clearly when Agath is out of focus and suddenly falls into the water."

"just that? You sure?"

"Do you suspect I did something bad to her?" christopher's tone of voice changed a little emotionally.

"I didn't say that."

"But you sound so."

The two men fell silent again, each trying to dampen their emotions.

"sorry. I don't mean to accuse you or anything just—Christ, may I know why you're actually chasing Agatha?"

Christ was silent with a split-second expression looking different but before long back to normal, he looked up and looked straight at Joshua.

"I love her, it may sound cliche but I'm really in love with her."

"Then why didn't you help her when she fell into the water? Why are you shouting for help from above?"

"Joshua, I'm in a state of panic and can't think of anything other than asking for help."

"But a man in love is willing to do anything for his loved ones. Your attitude doesn't show that, Christ."

Christopher sighed, "I had a trauma with something related to drowning. I thought I was healed because I was able to swim, dive and be near the vast water but the truth is I panicked and freaked out when I saw Agatha fall," clearly Christ with a tone full of regret.

"Sorry, I really don't want to make him wretch or anything, Josh."

"Alright, I'll believe what you're saying" Joshua replied, of course his secret investigation before this shows there's no bad record on this man. And now that this man was Agatha's fiancee, it would be best if he explained Agatha's condition now. Christopher still looked at him demanding an explanation.

"I'm sorry if my attitude offended you, Christ," Joshua sighed softly, "Agatha woke up in a bad state, she was in a time disorientation," Joshua said, it hurts to describe Agatha's condition.

"Time-disorientation? You mean, he's confused about the situation right now?"

Christopher's expression turned even colder, looking dreamy at Joshua's explanation and despite only a glimpse there was a hint of fear on his face.

"Is the past in his memory something he shouldn't have remembered now?" tanyanya slow.

"Unfortunately yes, the past should be forgotten. If you love her, I hope it's true and now is the time for you to prove it."

Christopher looked into Joshua's eyes before nodding, "What's that past, Josh?"

"The Agatha you know is a cold, stubborn, a little annoying woman, and I'm sure she told you she can't fall in love."

Christopher smiled faintly in light of all Agatha's refusal to say that the woman did not love him. Should it really be like that?

"There's a reason why he became like that. Agatha is not a wax figure, she is a human being who also has a heart and feelings but unfortunately her heart has been damaged. And it was so badly damaged that it made him bury everything until it was left for 'a relationship'," Joshua explained with a look of laughter considering the figure of his best friend.

"Can you help me heal her heart?"

Christopher was speechless at Joshua's question, his expression unfathomable to Joshua's gaze wanting to ensure the solemnity of the man beside him.

"If you find it too hard to love her under such circumstances, you'd better let Christ go. After all, the relationship between you now is based on a partnership."

"I won't let go, Josh," Christopher replied without any hesitation in his voice, his eyes now staring at Joshua full of confidence.

"Can I trust you?"

"You can trust me completely. I will bring a new heart to Agatha and will never let her get hurt."

"alright. I believe you, Christ. But remember one thing, if you hurt Agatha even if only a small tip then I will beat you with my own hands without mercy."

The two of them stared at each other in silence as if to ascertain whether they could trust each other. For Christopher it was a promise that would be kept temporarily for Joshua was a proof of a belief.

"May I know what kind of past made it so?" ask Christopher who is somehow slower and this time there is a shiver in his voice when saying it.

"Agatha and her first love, but not for long in the world. His name is Mikael and this man died seven years ago."

And either because it was quiet or because the two were talking about something painful but the atmosphere was frozen. Even the sound of the guard sisters' sheets of paper at the end of the hallway sounded in their ears.

Joshua leaned his back on the sofa after thirty minutes ago he tried hard to persuade Christopher to go home. A stubborn man like Agatha.

His mind was now filled with various things that suddenly appeared after a serious conversation this afternoon.

Putting the flat screen that had been on his lap since then, he had just finished with all the company reports. Tired of having to work amid all his worries and anxieties. He could not have left Agatha for even a moment, there was not enough people to believe for that other than Gabriel who was now in another hospital.

Ah, yes...

When Agatha fell into the sea, the same day Mr. Anderson had a small accident on his way to Germany to meet his youngest son. Because of the small accident the pain that had not fully recovered had worsened. And made him have to undergo a medical procedure there with Gabriel.

Agatha of course did not know yet, and Joshua did not want to rush the news amid the condition of his friend who was not good like this. One by one, he will solve everything.

And Christ's problem, I don't know, but he's convinced of the guy. And she really hopes Christ's presence can bring a new life sheet to her best friend.
