Joshua was still asleep in his sleep on the sofa to the point that he was unaware that someone was sitting next to him.
Agatha had been conscious since an hour ago, still feeling confused by the circumstances but when her gaze fell on the figure of the friend who was asleep among some work files, her confusion slowly disappeared.
Staring between Joshua and the infusion in his hand made Agatha feel a huge attack of guilt in her heart.
I think I'm troubling Joshua again.
Her net switched on a wall clock that showed at 1am, she was in the hospital with Joshua asleep exhausted.
There's only him and Joshua now and that means there's no Mikael.
When is it like this? Agatha actually felt tired of her own feelings of continuing to expect something impossible to happen.
Nope.
He didn't want to forget Mikael, it wasn't like that at all. His love will never change. It's just that sometimes Agatha feels her heart is too loving so strongly that it feels exhausting.
Agatha pulled out a blanket to cover Joshua's body, her best friend it was truly the best gift God had given her. Joshua always gave up his time and everything for him. He promises to make his best friend get his own happiness later.
Returning to her patient's bed, Agatha noticed a bouquet of white roses on her bedside nightstand, and a sliver of greeting cards lay beautifully beside her.
^^Agatha...^^^
^^^ I don't know what to say other than sorry, I hope you wake up soon from your sleep. Sorry for making you what you are now. I didn't mean to harm you.^^^
I can't wait for you until you wake up, and I believe Joshua is more than enough to be next to you (though I will soon take his place) but now I have to give up right?^^^
^^^Tomorrow I will come again. Come back to your senses, Sunshine.^^^
^^^- Christ -^^^
Exhaling slowly, Agatha put the greeting card back down and took the bouquet of roses that still smelled fresh. In the past, a bouquet of white lily almost every day there is always adorning his room table from the flower shop which is two blocks from Anna's madam house.
In the drawer of the nightstand looking for the whereabouts of his phone that was neglected in recent days. Judging by the many missed calls from Gabriel, her brother must have been worried about the fog. Agatha smiled faintly, she was just about to contact the elder brother when Joshua's voice sounded.
"Agatha...?"
Joshua hurriedly awoke from his sleep and approached Agatha, pulling her best friend in her arms.
"You awake? I'm really worried about you. I'll call the doctor, "Joshua took off his arms but Agatha held her arm.
"No need for Joshie, I'm fine."
"But the doctor has to check on you."
"I'm okay, it's okay."
After taking a short look, Joshua let out a sigh of resignation and sat down on the edge of the bed. Re-capturing Agatha's previously defenseless body.
"Sorry, I'm worrying you. I'm troubling you again, aren't I?" agatha asked softly in Joshua's arms.
"You have to replace my failed vacation and almost hang me" Joshua grumbled as Agatha's small smile responded.
"sorry. I'll replace it with an indefinite vacation."
"You fired me?"
"Not so, only if you want to take a vacation later then I won't set a time limit, you can take as much time as you want."
"Hmm, I'll consider."
"What? I gave you permission, why are you considering it?"
"Because I'm not sure I left you alone. One day without me you've drowned in the sea, what would happen if I went long?"
Agatha chuckled softly at Joshua's grunts. Then letting go of her embrace, Agatha again lay down with Joshua's arm as her pillow.
"Then we can go on vacation together."
"Yes, all right."
Then the two fell silent, enjoying the sound of clockwork seconds on the wall.
"Joshie, I met him."
"Hm."
"She's still the same as the last time we met. His embrace was still as warm as ever, his smile as well,"
"Agatha, please..."
"It's okay, I realized it was just a dream, but it felt too beautiful and made me not want to wake up."
Joshua said nothing just tightened his arms and rubbed Agatha's head slowly.
"He's happy there, Agatha. And Mikael would be happier if he saw you back like his old Agatha."
"really? But I was happy when I was with him."
"Then what about me? You're not happy with me? Unhappy with your father and Gabriel?" Joshua took a deep breath before continuing.
"Mikael will be happy if you go back to life and are not confined to the past. Not to forget it, just to be happy."
Agatha fell silent, not answering or responding to anything. His tired heart, his mind and his ego, all the things that finally made his tears now shed in Joshua's arms.
"I will always be with you, and I will take you to get that happiness. And I'm sure that moment will come soon" whispered Joshua softly.

The next morning Agatha is startled by the arrival of Christopher who looks a little messy. He seems to be short of hours of sleep.
The man looked relieved to see it coming to his senses but anxiety was still clearly drawn on his face. After chatting for a while, Joshua left the two and made the atmosphere of the nursery back into silence. Agatha herself did not know what to say.
"Sorry."
"Sorry."
The voices of the two sounded together like a sharp rhythm after a long silence. They stared at each other before they both threw away their eyes.
"Agatha, there's nothing I'm asking for right now but sorry from you."
"It's okay Christ, I'm the one who should be the one apologizing for making an unnecessary fuss. I'm fine."
"But Agatha..."
"It's okay, don't feel guilty" Agatha said quietly, however it's not Christopher's fault entirely. He is the one who thinks too much about everything.
"I want to hug you but I can't seem to?" ask Christ with a faint smile at the end of his lips.
Agatha did not answer anything but her hands slowly stretched out and slapped the back of the man standing beside her bed. "Thank you for worrying."
Joshua returned with the doctor who then checked on Agatha's condition, and after making sure Agatha was okay, the doctor gave her permission to go home despite having to rest a lot for a week.
"You're sure we'll just go home?" joshua asked as Agatha asked him to pack. He did want them to come back soon but not on the same day he left the hospital.
"You want me to take you?" bargain Christopher who's still there and help them pack.
"If you drive us, then what about your business here?"
"I've finished it Josh, no need to worry. So how?"
Joshua glanced at Agatha who was now walking to the toilet to get changed. After making sure his best friend closed the door, Joshua approached Christopher.
"I had to tell him about Mr. Anderson's circumstances but it doesn't feel right now. I'm afraid he'll—"
"What are you talking about?"
Joshua looked over and found his best friend was approaching.
"What's wrong with dad?"
"Agatha, I'm sorry I didn't tell you right away but your father had an accident the same day you fell into the sea."
"Accident? Whatchu mean?" ask Agatha who then grabbed her phone on the nightstand and contacted Gabriel but was not connected.
And that's when Joshua's phone rang, a call came in from the headquarters telling him they needed Joshua as soon as possible.
"Agatha, I'm sorry but I think I should be right back. There's a problem with one of our investors" Joshua looks worried between going or not.
"Go Josh, I'm fine. I'll go straight to Dad."
"We'd better go back first, I'll be with you later."
"It's okay, Gabriel can pick me up."
"Agatha, Mr. Anderson is in Germany. The accident happened when he was going to see Zander."
"What?"
"I'll be with him" said Christopher suddenly making Agatha and Joshua look at him.
"I will accompany Agatha to Germany. You can trust me, Josh."
