Agatha Anderson — Love Reply

...There's nothing wrong with my past. All the things I went through were beautiful memories that would always be short films in my head....

...And it is not the fault of the past that I still stand silently staring at him that has passed. I'm. I'm the only one guilty here of being too reluctant to let go of all those memories....

...— Agatha —...

.......

.......

.......

Christ opened his eyes slowly staring at the ceiling of his room and felt his heavy and dizzy head. His breathing was also heavy as if he was being crushed by something big, slowly he remembered having finished two bottles of whiskey belonging to Leon alone. His arms also felt numb.

Did he fall when he came home unconscious last night?

He remembered nothing but the emotions he had vented to his cousin yesterday.

"Good morning."

The subtle voice that greeted his ears made Christ bow and found Agatha looking at him with a faint smile typical of waking up early.

Opening his eyes a few times, Christ looked at the figure curled up in his arms. It seemed like there were still remnants from his unconscious last night and made him hallucinate. But the thought was broken when a light kiss touched his lips.

"Not fully conscious yet?"

"... Agatha?"

"Hm?"

Shocked by the fully regained consciousness, Christ hurriedly changed his position half-leaning to see clearly whether he was not fantasizing.

"Sunshine, you—what happened? How did I get home last night?" ask Christ bingutng.

Of course confused because last night his heart chaos ended with alcoholic drinks. Then how could he have woken up with Agatha in his arms plus his wife suddenly being romantic and a little spoiled like this?

Agatha again secured herself in the arms of Christ who embraced back though she was still confused. Since Agatha herself was ashamed, she chose not to look at her husband and drowned her face in the chest of Christ's field.

Agatha could feel Christ's heart beating rapidly in a race against her own. Either thinking of each other or feeling embarrassed they both kept quiet for a while. Feel the calm in each other's arms.

"Fuck, Sunshine. Did I do something...?" tanyanya doubt.

"No. Leon had a hard time driving you home last night, you have to repay his kindness" Agatha said.

That's not what Christ's question meant. What happened last night until he woke up to all these happy things? The point is his wife's change of attitude.

"Agatha.. You're okay, right?" ask her slowly with caution.

"No. Why why?"

"Em, why are— suddenly like this? I don't mean I don't like it just, you act like this..."

"I will try..."

"What?"

"I will try to love you, Christ."

Christ's ears were buzzing at Agatha's words just now. The sound of the world seemed to vanish leaving only Agatha's voice echoing in her head.

He really isn't a dream or a hallucination, is he?

The words he had wanted to hear all this time.

The sentence he had thought would be impossible to say by Agatha was now heard.

Christ did not know how to express all the joy and happiness in his high-pitched self. Thousands of butterflies flap their wings and fly them high. Don't ask me what his heart is. It felt like beating a thousand times faster until his breath felt tight.

"The christ? Am I too late to say it?"

Agatha looked up to look at her husband who was just speechless.

The two beads clashed together and within a split second Christ had already slashed the distance between them. Replying to his wife's statement with light kisses many times.

"No Sunshine, you're not late. You will never be late because until when will I always wait for you" he whispered on the sidelines as he held his breath.

"Thank you, Agatha."

And Agatha did not expect that the man before her was now shedding tears.

"Why are you crying, Christ?"

"I don't know, I just feel so happy" she replied embarrassedly as she rubbed the corner of her eye. Her happiness is so overflowing.

Hearing that Agatha smiled, "I said give it a try to love you and you're already crying. Not even a hundred percent sure that I'll love you."

"I don't care. I know you'll love me."

Agatha chuckled at Christ who suddenly looked childish. For some reason after saying half that declaration of love, Agatha felt a hint of relief within her as if a burden was lifted from her heart. Perhaps it is true that all this time he himself had tied his heart to a great burden and forced it to be held there.

It's too early to call her really loving Christ now, but she'll really try to love him.

The two smiled, re-hugged and leaned on each other's feelings. Of the many days that pass it seems that today will be the one day that is most remembered by both.

"No."

"I don't want to go to the office. How's yours?" christ asked still with a warm smile on his lips.

"can't. I have a meeting that can't be represented and I have an appointment with Joshua to go to Senna Rod."

Christ seemed disappointed to hear Agatha's words, but then smiled again.

"Letting off later, huh? Or go home sooner?" bargained for.

"Can't."

"Why does it feel like you dropped me after flying me into the sky?" grumble the man.

"Don't childish. You also have to work and meet Leon to thank me."

"Alright, it seems like it should be. My wife is so busy."

"You're the only slacker CEO I know who's been ditching a lot."

Christ laughed at her, "That's what I'm doing for you, Sunshine."

Just then Christ's cell phone on the nightstand vibrated indicating an incoming call.

From Leon.

Christ immediately grabbed the smart thing while Agatha went to the bathroom to clean up and prepare.

"Hm, what's wrong?"

'Wow, look who picked up the phone with such a haughty greeting? Don't remember what you did last night?' leon's nagging across there.

"Yes sorry, that's not what I meant. What's up?"

'You checked the message on your phone?' ask Leon.

Christ frowned confusedly, "Yet, you're sending an important message?"

I heard an impatient breath from Leon.

'I'm sorry, I didn't mean to peek or anything. But last night I accidentally read your message notification.'

"Then?"

'You really didn't open the phone? There's a message from Neona.'

Instantly Christ's focus changed, quickly opening the mailbox. There was a message from the woman.

'Have seen?'

"Yes." Yeah."

'Then all I wanted to say was that the woman came to the office. He said he would wait for you.'

"What?" exclaim Christ unconsciously because anything related to Neona only makes his emotions provoked.

"Has he gone mad? Just tell me I'm not coming to the office." riled up.

'I told you like that. But he said he was going to see Agatha.'

"No!" christ shouted straight out of his bed. "Leon, do whatever it takes to keep the mad woman from seeing Agatha!" he said it was full of emphasis because he did not want Agatha to hear it.

'He said if you want to comply with his request then he'll be quiet. The point is he doesn't like you ignoring his messages.'

"Fucking ****!"

'I don't know what your deal is but you better come right away. Or Arthur will know.'

They closed the conversation with Christ who refrained from returning to lose control while with Agatha at home.

Whatever it was, she didn't want Neona to come into contact with Agatha directly. And he will do anything to prevent it.

Even if he had to sacrifice his feelings to comply with Neona's wishes.

Why does it have to be this complicated?

She had just blossomed and was happy with Agatha, and not a few hours had that happiness been threatened with ruin.

This is his fault.

His mistakes from the past will probably continue to pursue him.
