...Remembering the difficult past was like slicing the same wound twice. It hurts more than the first time you got it....

"Why are you just standing there? Come here Christ, are you still not able to enter this room normally?" ask Arthur who then walks and sits on the sofa next to the window.
Doubtfully Christ walked over and sat down beside the elder brother.
"You okay?" asked Arthur who saw his sister's finger trembling slightly.
"Yes, I'm fine."
Stare lightly and then Arthur changed his position to look at the focus on the younger brother who had been trying not to look at him.
"So you can explain what's going on between you and Neona right now?" ask her with her inner voice.
For Christ even though this room is just a regular room in addition to some bad memories that are there, Arthur's presence there makes the atmosphere more like an interrogation room.
"Arthur, it's not what you think it is."
"What am I really thinking?" arthur's mouth was quick and cold.
"I've been trying so hard to avoid Arth since our meeting in Manhattan. I don't think he's coming to this country anymore. Did you know she showed up all of a sudden by being in Agatha's company?" christ was a little frustrated.
Arthur does not understand his position of being caught between fear or fighting that he finally gives up and follows the woman.
"He met Agatha?"
"Fortunately not for long, they meet just as Agatha attends a conference with her mother. Although the possibility of them meeting is still wide open because Neona became Anderson's corporate business partner in fashion and beauty."
"Oh yeah? I don't know about it, I should have suspected it since Manhattan" Arthur murmured seriously.
"I should also be able to think about that possibility and I regret it now."
"Then what is your relationship with Neona now? Remember Christ, that woman is a nightmare you should avoid. Not exactly you're approaching."
"I know Arth but what can I do if he starts talking about it?"
"Then what do you want? Back mired in your past with her? You shouldn't care about her because you got Agatha!" Arthur seemed to start losing control of his emotions and subconsciously raised his voice.
While Christ has tried to calm himself so as not to get carried away with emotions as well.
"You don't understand Arth, he's got things that could threaten me—"
"And you're weak because of that?"
"I've tried Arth, I've overcome all the feelings that make me feel hard."
"Your life is not enough Christ! You have to be able to fight everything that will put you in a bad situation! After all the hard-earned things, after those bitter years that not only you felt but also felt by me and mother! Didn't you think of that?"
"It's precisely because I thought about it, Arth! I don't want to make you or mom feel overwhelmed by the sudden appearance of Neona. I'm trying to handle it my own way!" he half yelled in frustration at his brother.
"Regulate it in your own way? In what way? Do you obey that crazy woman? Your attitude like that will only make it difficult for you. You'll only be taken advantage of because of your fear and that woman will play around with your weakness!"
"Then what should I do? Neona has something that could threaten my relationship with Agatha. Making Agatha my wife isn't enough to make my life all right again, Arth! You don't know how hard I've always imagined things to be if Agatha ever knew the past. I'm always scared because of that thought, I'm afraid of losing him and you think I'm weak?"
"Yes you're weak. You should be able to clearly separate the finished past and the present!"
"Have finished? It will never be finished because the feeling is still on me Arth! I always remember him when I was with Agatha! I've always felt like a sinner and Neona's presence is now getting me back in fear!"
Christ could no longer hold back his emotions and did not care if he now shouted at his brother.
He's been through a lot of success so far and he's trying to fight that feeling back.
"Just because you're scared, Neona will take advantage of it. What do you care about him? All the evidence that existed before has been destroyed. What scares you?"
"Arth, Neona's own existence is a threat. He could have said directly to Agatha, didn't you consider that possibility as well?"
"Do you think Agatha would be easy to believe? Your wife's not a stupid woman, Christ."
"Isn't it just because Agatha is different then the worst possibility could happen?"
"If he loves you then he will never doubt you instead of believing in the words of a stranger."
If it were as easy as you say, I would never be as worried now, Arth.
Since Agatha had not fully loved me, I became so afraid.
"I didn't want Neona to say anything about it to Agatha, so I did so that I could also monitor her movements and keep her away from Agatha."
"But it's just gonna be more at risk you're gonna fall back."
"I knew. And as I said before, I'll try my own way this time."
"It's really your weakness, Christ. My mother and I have worked so hard to rebuild your messy life, I don't want you to tarnish our efforts" this time Arthur's voice sounded colder.
"Can't you trust me this time?"
Arthur just silently looked at his sister without any intention of answering. Because he believes his sister has only one weakness: her black past. And it is true that Neona's existence will only destroy all the efforts of her family who desperately rebuild Christ's life.
Damnit.
He never expected Neona to be that brave again. That woman is crazy.
After a moment of silence, Arthur looked at his sister seriously, "You want me to get rid of her?" tanyakanya.
Of course Christ knew the meaning of the sister's question. And he didn't want it to tarnish his efforts all along.
"No Arth, don't even think about doing it."
"Why? I can even get rid of the people who harassed you in the past."
Christ froze, his memory bad if he remembered the past. "That's different. Those people used to deserve it."
"And Neona isn't? Do you think he looks like them too? Just because he's Mr. Gerald's nephew doesn't mean I can't do it."
"That! Stop this conversation!"
Arthur nodded impatiently and got up from his seat.
"You see all this?" the question with his hands leads to a wall filled with various article papers and emotional doodles as well as items that have long been deliberately left in the same position.
Christ only glimpsed at what the elder sister had shown.
"All these things are evidence of the black past you've been struggling to leave behind. If you still care about your life, you better not repeat the same stupidity. I'll make sure myself later, I'll keep an eye on you."
Christ just kept quiet without replying to his brother.
"Look, you yourself don't even dare to face these things. How could you possibly handle Neona?"
"Shut up, Arth. I'll try."
"We'll see how far you've gone. Actually the answer to your fear is simple and clear."
This time Christ looked at Arthur with a gaze that reflected his emotions. He knew where his brother was going to go.
"You just have to be honest with Agatha that you killed—"
"SILENCE, ARTH!"
Christ closed his eyes and closed his ears.
"Please, get out of this room Arth" she pleaded.
Arthur, already upset with his brother's attitude, walks out of the room leaving Christ alone.
Removing his hand from his ear, Christ then hit his chest which was painful and tight.
How could it be such a simple thing?
How could that be said?
How unlikely...
Christ would never have imagined himself telling the woman he loved
That he killed his girlfriend.
