He never thought that he would be dragged into a lifetime of regret just because of his impulsive actions.

He had never done things that violated the values of kindness before and had never thought of doing that in his life.

Christ was surprised because his encouragement made Mikael fall into the lake. He did not mean to just that jealousy, envy, and also resentment were piling up in his heart.

Seeing Mikael trying to reach the surface of the water but instead of reaching out to help the young man, Christ stepped back.

This lake should not be deep, right?

This lake is close to the home where children live, it should not be dangerous right?

With that thought mixed with emotion and shock, Christ stepped out of the path that was in the middle of the lake, ignoring Mikael who was trying to get out of the water.

Christ ran with mixed feelings. He didn't know why he was running like this?

His footsteps suddenly came to a halt as the pull on his arm made him turn around with his heart racing.

"You! What the fuck left him alone without helping her?" Neona asked in a stifled voice.

"You! What are you doing here?" Christ looked up in shock and immediately turned his head around making sure no one else was there but them.

"I followed you since then" the girl's voice trembled slightly while her head turned back. "Don't we have to go back to help her?" tanyanya fear.

Christ opened his lips to say something but no words came out of his mouth.

"Why are you following me? You see everything?" her tan started to panic and was scared because Neona saw it.

"I was just wondering why you left so quietly so I followed you to the lake and—"

Neona's words were cut off because Christ's hand had closed her mouth. Of course the girl was shocked and frightened but Christ did not let go.

"You need to shut up. Forget everything you see. After all the funds were not deep so he must be fine," he whispered seriously then let go of his hand so that the girl could breathe.

"But shouldn't we still help him? What if something happens to her?" Neona stared with fear until her tears welled up.

"You just need to shut up! Everything's gonna be fine. Remember that! You have to be quiet and act clueless" threatened Christ who then pulled Neona's arm to leave.

The two are silent on their run and trying to calm the panic, fear within each other.

What Christ doesn't realize is that even this is at the end of the season but the temperature still feels even colder in the water.

Christ and Neona returned to the home and joined the others, and just then Agatha who had returned was busy circulating her gaze around.

Christ's heart felt like it would jump out to see Agatha walking around.

That girl must be looking for Mikael.

With her breathing trying to set her up to look normal, Christ noticed Agatha looking panicked. There was a heavy feeling he was now feeling and a concern over whether he should go back to the lake and help Mikael.

Neona pulled her arm, "Christ, looks like we should go back and help her. I'm afraid something bad happened to her" whispered Neona in fear.

"Silence Neona, don't talk anything" he whispered and threatened.

Her hand now held Neona's hand tightly, afraid that the girl would run away and tell her what had just happened. He was sure nothing would happen anyway. Mikael just needs to pull over a little bit to get out of there.

Yeah, he just needs to pull over. That young man is not stupid, is he?

Her hands involuntarily crept Neona's fingers hard because of her increased worries.

If the young man came out and complained, no one would believe him, right? Christ just needs to say he was unintentionally. True is just like that.

After 30 minutes Agatha looked very worried and reported to the owner of the parlour who then asked everyone to help find Mikael.

Agatha was already unable to calm down, the girl seemed to make several phone calls with panic clearly etched on her face.

"Christ, we have to tell them. At least they won't be looking this long."

"You remember what I said, right? You'd better shut up" he whispered threateningly and could feel Neona's hand trembling in the ge

indistinctly.

Everyone was looking for Mikael and couldn't find him. Christ actually wanted to scream and tell them but his mouth was silent as if locked tightly.

Christ felt crowded to see Agatha go to and fro looking for Mikael.

Neona looked like she was going to cry next to him, the girl was scared.

"Did none of you see it? None of you noticed?" agatha asked desperately to her friends.

He was in contact with Joshua who was on vacation with his girlfriend, Emelie. And Agatha did not expect in that short time that she lost Mikael.

His friends were anxious to find Mikael until the owner contacted the police after an hour of searching.

Of course it makes Christ and Neona silent with great fear. They did not move from where they were sitting now.

Christ felt his hand numb from the coldness by the fear he felt.

Can't be...?

How'this?

The police who came immediately conducted a search after questioning everyone. And Christ looked at it all with an uncalled feeling. His heart could no longer beat at normal speed. While Neona kept the msnerus whining beside her, the girl cried silently.

Christ felt numb, all of his head felt empty and he could not think.

How'this?

Then a person whom Christ recognized as a close friend of Mikael came and went straight to Agatha. The girl explained the situation to the young man who then immediately went to search.

Really for whatever sake, Christ just wishes the young man was okay. He was sure that the young man did not come back because he might still be at the lake and was busy photographing like that.

But it's been almost two hours.

They were all waiting inside the house as the weather was getting colder. Occasionally he saw Agatha pacing around uneasily. She had never seen Agatha grieve all this time and this time Christ really realized Agatha's feelings for Mikael were real.

Some of the people who had previously searched had also returned with the police. They asked the owner of the parlor if the lake in the middle of the forest had no supervision around it?

The owner explained that the lake does not have any security limits because the children there already know a lot.

A policeman came back to tell her that Mikael had been found.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as did Agatha.

Christ felt as if the burden was gone.

"Sorry, but we found him not breathing. The young man drowned in the cold, almost freezing lake water" explained the policeman, who immediately made the room suddenly quiet.

"What do you mean?" even Agatha's voice was now shaking, the girl quickly came out followed by the others while Christ and Neona were glued there.

"Christ... How'this?" Neona is crying.

Christ froze with a blank look.

Whatisthis?

She... drowned?

No. gabe.

It can't be.

Not likely...

And the next thing Christ remembered was the roar of Agatha's voice crying from the courtyard.
