Gabriel was silent with one hand still holding a glass of water in the kitchen when he heard Joshua's question.

Trying to set his facial expression to look ordinary, he turned to look at his best friend.

"What do you mean?"

Joshua looked at him silently before sighing, "I'm sorry if I get too involved in this. I can't ignore all the weird things that happen in Agatha's life."

Gabriel remained silent without any response, leaning himself against the dining table. Waiting for Joshua to continue his sentence.

"I don't intend to fuss about this but I feel something strange about Christ. I've felt it for a long time but I've tried to ignore it because Christ doesn't seem to be doing anything bad to Agatha."

Joshua set his breath back, "I myself have repeatedly confirmed and investigated but the results are the same."

"What exactly are you investigating from Christ?" gabriel asked in the end in a soft voice.

"The information of his youth is confusing. There were two close people I could very much believe said completely different things about Christ. I've made sure of it myself and he's hiding something with his past—"

Joshua stopped his words by staring intently at Gabriel, who was sitting with an empty glass in his hand.

"You know everything?" his question once again confirmed and Gabriel nodded slowly. "Since when?"

Joshua felt the strangeness of Gabriel's attitude. It is not usual for the friend to react like this when it comes to Agatha, his beloved sister. Gabriel let out a long sigh once again with a glaring look.

Gabriel nodded slowly but said nothing.

"But I was quite surprised by the fact that Christ got his education at the same university as me and Agatha in the same year. And what's even more surprising is the fact that we've been in the same social community."

Joshua said it calmly but the seriousness in his voice was obvious. Likewise, the look in his eyes that no longer looked friendly and became colder.

The thing that Gabriel was afraid of was rather than having to fight with Joshua physically.

"You already know that" Joshua said when he saw Gabriel's attitude remained calm without any change of emotion.

"Why is his personal data hidden and falsified?"

This was the question Gabriel was waiting for and anticipating.

"Because there are private matters that cannot and should not be known by the public. The Winston family erased that past history and replaced it with another fact."

Gabriel did not immediately reply, instead stepping his feet to re-fill his glass with ice water before returning to his position.

Gabriel stared into Joshua's dark bead because he knew his best friend would not answer.

"He came when I was in the hardest time of my life. I'm sure you know what's been a hard time for me, Josh."

"Arthur came as I desperately defended Agatha's ruined life. When Agatha chooses to destroy her own life because of the loss of Mikael. At that time I did not know what to do but panic and could not think of anything else. I clearly remember that Arthur's arrival made my situation worse."

Joshua still silently listened without any intention of interrupting.

He could feel that whatever Gabriel was trying to say was not a good thing.

Smiling bitterly Gabriel then downed the cold water from his glass.

Joshua squinted at Gabriel's words until he subconsciously advanced his body with his hands clenched on the table.

"Whatchu mean? Why would Arthur apologize for Agatha?" cercanya.

"Arthur came to apologize for indirectly the actions of his sister caused destruction to Agatha who had to lose her loved ones."

"Wait on! You mean—cause Agatha lost...?"

Whatever it was Joshua tried to stop bad thoughts from his head. Because when that fateful incident happened he wasn't there, he didn't know exactly.

"You've realized that you and Agatha are in the same social community as Christ, right?"

Joshua did not reply and just stared at Gabriel with a breath that was no longer slow.

"When the fateful accident happened, Christ was there in that social activity. And what no one ever knew was the exact cause of the accident that night. The incident that closed as an ordinary accident even though it wasn't the truth."

And for whatever sake it is now Joshua's heart beats faster anticipating every sentence of Gabriel's mouth.

"The cause of the accident that night that made Mikael lose his life was Christopher Winston. He's the one who pushed Mikael into the lake."

And Joshua could no longer contain his shock because he suddenly rose from his seat until the chair he was sitting in fell. One hand covered her open mouth in surprise and the other clenched tightly on the table.
