Agatha walks a little hastily as Leon contacts her and informs her that Christ is in a bad state. Leon tells the driver to drive the man home because Leon must replace Christ to attend the current meeting.
This morning it seemed okay. Could it have something to do with Christ's hasty departure this morning?
As soon as her foot was inside the apartment Agatha circulated a glance to the front room but her husband was not there, so Agatha made a definite move towards their room.
"Christ?" he called slowly when he saw the man sitting on the sofa by the glass window. The man turned his head when he heard Agatha's voice.
"Agatha? You're home yet?" tanyanya was confused to see his wife had gone home.
"Leon called me and said you were suddenly sick," Agatha put her hand on the man's forehead, "You have a fever, we're going to the hospital now" he said.
Agatha turned around to prepare but her movements came to a halt as Christ's sturdy arm wrapped around her waist and the man leaned his head on her back.
"No need to go to the hospital. Just stay home with me, okay?" said the man was raucous.
After his meeting with Neona this morning made him think about many things, and there was nothing else but feeling guilty. Everything he's done so far has been a mistake. From then on until now he lied to Agatha. What if his wife finds out and leaves him? He sure could accept all the anger of his woman but not with the separation. Christ tightened his embrace.
"The christ? Your body temperature's hot and we need to see a doctor."
"The doctor won't do me much good, Agatha."
Agatha flipped her body slowly and faced the husband, cupping Christ's face made the man look up at her, The man's face is very pale today, the man's face is, the usually cheerful and warm eyes look lovely, the red lips that are always smiling lose their color. Agatha had never seen Christ in this state before.
"Call the doctor here, huh?"
Christ shook his head and chose to drown his face in Agatha's arms. He doesn't need a doctor. He just wanted all these nightmares to end. He just wants to live happily with Agatha, is that not to be had?
Agatha resigned, this man was not easily persuaded and finally Agatha guided her man to settle down and rest properly in bed. Honestly, he never took care of a sick person in his entire life.
After changing into Agatha's clothes caught up with Christ in their bed. Of course Agatha did not intend to sleep let alone this was still brightly lit at work hours, so she just sat leaning on the head of the bed accompanying Christ who was now hugging him with his head spread over his stomach. Agatha could not resist of course therefore she chose silence while stroking her gentle mane.
"I called my mother to tell her how you are. Are you sure you don't want to go to the doctor?"
Again the man nodded. Though it was clear that his face was as pale as that with body temperature that made Agatha worried. Even in Christ's tight embrace, Agatha could feel the man's body trembling.
"... Agatha."
"Hm?"
"Don't go, huh? Don't leave me."
"How could I leave you in this situation?"
And for some reason there was a strange swish in Agatha's heart as Christ grew deeper in her arms. Cold sweat began to wet the man's forehead which Agatha gently wiped.
There were actually a lot of things he wanted to ask Christ, why the man had such a fever all of a sudden, what kind of problem made him leave in such a hurry this morning, as well as about Neona's previous remarks. But all of those questions haven't found a good time to say.
Thirty minutes later Christ had already fallen into unconsciousness, his regular breathing rhythm proving the man had already fallen into dreamland.
Agatha still rubbed the soft mane quietly because she herself was not sleepy. Agatha was thinking how she ended up in this kind of situation. The man who is now asleep in his pelynya never even once he imagined there would be in his life. He who had always considered something like this would never exist in his life, never felt warmth and pounding other than with Mikael who had been filling his heart and mind.
Ah, considering Mikael still leaves a real longing for him. The man with the sweet smile who was always being sincere to her.
Dispelling the sense of tightness that suddenly came bursting into deep breaths before his hand grabbed the phone on the nightstand.
Many emails and messages were sent by Carren. The girl was very diligent and meticulous as a secretary who had only worked with her and Joshua for 6 months.
Oh, speaking of Joshua, his best friend hasn't told you yet. Is it possible to rest?
Just thinking of contacting her best friend, Agatha was startled by the incoming call from her mother, which she hurriedly answered.
'Honey, sorry new mom is done with the patient. How's Christ doing?'
"He's sleeping now."
'How's the body temperature? Still hot?'
Agatha did not need to check as it was clear the man's body now felt hot on top of her skin.
"It's still hot but he's not as shaky as before. Ma'am, I'm sorry but can you stop by our apartment? I've never cared for a sick person before" Agatha said, a little embarrassed by the fact that she couldn't.
'Of course, I'm there now. You need anything else you want to bring?'
"No, mom's willing to come I'm so grateful that Christ really doesn't want to go to the doctor or the hospital."
'Alright. Mother will come soon, ' said the woman softly and soothingly.
'Agatha?'
"Yes?"
'Thanks for taking care of Christ. I hope you two are always happy.'
And after saying it, Miss. Cassandra turned off the phone connection leaving Agatha speechless because of her mother's sudden speech like that. She used to say nice things to him but this time it sounded different.

That afternoon in the middle of his scheduled visit to the patient, Mrs. Cassandra gets a call from her favorite daughter-in-law.
Agatha reported that her son was ill and stubbornly refused to see a doctor. Heavily the woman sighed before calming the worried-sounding son-in-law.
He himself was not worried about his son's situation. Of course he felt worried but this was not the first time Christ suddenly had a fever like this. Because he knows his son is a rare person and immune to any illness such as fever, flu or anything.
The fever experienced by Christ is not due to a virus or anything. Cassandra remembered that in those dark times her son often experienced this.
Psychogenic fever.
That's what Christ experienced. Fever caused by psychological factors due to stress is not due to viruses or other causes.
Cassandra had expected this would soon be experienced by her son again since the appearance of Neona. There's nothing he can do to prevent that.
For years he has been trying to heal and revive Christ until his son can be what he is now. But she had no power to block Neona's presence even if she could harm Christ psychologically again as she is now.
Cassandra tries to realize that sooner or later in the relationship between Christ and Agatha, her son must be able to face the reality.
And maybe it's time.
His steps were calm as he walked down from the car to his children's apartment. For now all he could do was to be next to them and make sure they no longer fell down.
Those bound by a complicated destiny.
Past mistakes that shackle the hearts and lives of his two children.
Equally fragile yet had a powerful fortress around them.
Family and love.
And Cassandra made sure she was one of those bastions.
