...I'm willing to trade whatever I have as long as you come back to live within the distance I can see even if I have to look at you from the farthest angle....
.......
.......
.......
His galloping footsteps echoed along the hospital hallway. Made some people turn their eyes to her as she flashed.
Christ doesn't care.
News from Gabriel moments ago led him to leave Leon in the middle of a monthly meeting with the company's marketer. And he doesn't care.
Agatha was conscious.
Agatha is back.
With hunting breath and feet shaking from running, Christ now set his breath in front of his wife's nursery door.
Pray in your heart about the best things possible, as well as the bad things you have to be ready to face.
His eyes were fixed on the weak figure sitting leaning against the pillows, and it was clear he saw the pain implied in his clear brown bead.
"Agatha..."
That was all Christ was able to say in a soft whisper, his heart felt heavy and the tip of his eyes suddenly heated up. Even he could not go any further than where he stood in the doorway.
Joshua and Gabriel who saw his arrival, then moved from the right and left side of Agatha. The two stepped out to give this pair of pain-filled humans both. Give time.
"Come in," Gabriel said as he passed Christ while gently patting his sister-in-law's shoulder.
While Joshua was still reluctant to say anything and chose to just walk away.
Silence followed after the two men closed the door.
Christ still did not move from his place and Agatha chose to take her gaze away from the man.
5 mins.
10 mins.
15 mins.
None of them tried to start. And that silence felt stifling.
"I'm happy you want to go back" whispered Christ slowly accompanied by his steps that approached the patient's bed.
Agatha still chose to stare at the glass windows that present a view of the buildings around the hospital.
"Agatha, I'm sorry."
Christ stopped stepping as the distance between them was one and a half meters away.
"I know my apology will never be enough to get forgiveness from you."
Even talking to Agatha became this difficult for Christ.
"But I'm really sincere, Agatha. I regret everything I ever did. All my stupidity and mistakes in the past. Me and all the things I've done. I'm really sorry."
"In fact, if I could repeat time then I would fix everything. I'm going back to the time I followed her that night, back to my decision not to attend that night's event. I would do anything if it made you happy. Even if I have to let you go with him."
"I know all my regrets are pointless now. Everything means nothing anymore."
In his silence, Christ clearly saw the clear water descending flowing from Agatha's beautiful eyes. And his heart ached when he saw that.
"I can't forgive you, Christ. I can't" said Agatha without looking at Christ.
Of course Christ's heart was throbbing more and more to the pain of hearing Agatha's utterance, and he had to accept it.
"I accept all the decisions you'll make, Agatha."
"We're separated."
Christ subconsciously held his breath hearing that. His face was bowed without the strength to look at Agatha.
"And this kid..."
"Agatha, please. You can do anything but don't hurt our son. I beg..." Christ said he did not want the child in Agatha's womb to be a victim of his mistake.
"You don't want me to hurt this kid? You don't have the heart for a child who hasn't even been born into the world but you can take the life of an innocent person?!"
There's no answer. Christ could only cry in silence over what his wife said.
"But I'm not someone like you, Christ. I'm not gonna hurt this kid to get back at you. I'm not as bad as you."
Be ill. It feels so painful in the chest — Inner Christ.
"You ruined me, Christ. You made me regret falling in love with you."
"Agatha, I'm sorry. It's too late and I'll accept everything, I'm sorry," resigned Christ who did not feel entitled to argue.

Time can always heal a person even though it will take a long span.
"Mommy's Mommy!"
The tiny loud voice that called out to her mother made the woman with brown hair turn her head and smile.
"Hi, Honey."
He extended both hands to welcome the figure of the little boy in the sling of the eyed man with that sweet smile.
"You're back?"
"Huh, I'm so tired and I just realized that Ellion looks a lot like you, noisily," the man complained after handing the child over to his mother.
"El, you're making Uncle Joshie exhausted. You promised not to be naughty to me."
"No Mommy, no. Ell isn't naughty. Uncle lied," the small voice denied with cute pursed lips.
"Alright then give the mother a kiss for the mother to believe," joked the mother anxious.
"Muah muah, tahh~"
Yes, Ellion Everald Winston.
His only son who is now two years old but his speech has been so smooth and adorable.
It had been two years without notice since Ellion was born and Agatha was so enjoying her role as a mother. Things he never imagined would happen.
"Then give uncle one kiss as well," Joshua smiled and pressed his cheek towards Ellion.
"No no no, uncle is lying. Ell didn't want to kiss," the boy shook his head vigorously and refused to kiss Joshua.
"Cheat, even though uncle has invited you around the park today. Uncle was so sad," Joshua looked down pretending to be sad and making Ellion panic from feeling guilty.
"Uncle Joshie can't be sad, forgive Ell," he whined.
Joshua smiled and pulled the mother and child in his arms.
"Then the uncle who kissed Ell and Mommy" he said, then stole a kiss on Ellion's cheek and kissed Agatha briefly.
The three laughed, whoever saw must have thought they were the perfect family if Ellion did not call Joshua uncle.
"You want to go now?" agatha looked up at Joshua.
"Yes, I have to go to papa's house to have dinner together."
"Well, thank you for today, Joshie. Say hello to Errelly, I'll visit her later."
"Sure, I'll tell you. He loved Ell so much and wished our son would be as adorable as your son," Joshua laughed lightly at how his wife asked him to bring Ellion into their home every day.
Joshua was married a year ago to a beautiful woman named Errelly, a talented young lawyer who works under the auspices of his papa law firm. And Errelly is pregnant.
"All right, I'm leaving now. See you tomorrow, Ell."
Joshua furiously damaged Ellion's brown hair before turning around and walking away.
Just then a man with a sharp gaze in a light blue shirt walked towards them.
"Daddy!"
The cry made the man smile and wave.
"You're leaving Joshua?" ask Joshua Christ.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Alright, thanks for dropping Ellion off."
Joshua nodded in response and after patting Christ on the shoulder once, Joshua passed leaving them.
"Daddy! Daddy!"
Ellion had noisily stuck out his body asking to be carried by the papa.
Christ greeted the small body then lifted it high into the air making the son laugh with delight.
"You don't miss Dad?" tanyanya while smirking Ellion gemas.
"Lost, Ell miss Daddy so much!"
"really?"
"Yes! Ell misses a lot!"
Agatha who had been silent since then, smiled at the interaction of the two.
"Hi," said Christ who then kissed his forehead briefly and smiled.
"Hi too, I don't think you're coming. Leon told me you were in a new project place."
"Yes, I just got back from there."
"We're leaving now?"
"Yes, I must have waited."
The three stepped out of the park towards the car park.
It's my dad's birthday and they promised to have dinner together. That's why Christ picked them up here to leave together.
Yes, after Ellion's birth one year ago they both decided to divorce.
The feeling of Agatha who was already badly injured took time to recover. And even though his decision at that time hurt many parties but no one can refuse.
Agatha is not hypocritical that she still appreciates Christ but her feelings no longer grow as a wife because her sense of disappointment is much greater. And both Christ and Agatha decided to name their relationship as friends.
Although Christ still loves Agatha very much and will wait for the woman to receive her back someday.
The two remain in a good relationship, especially regarding Ellion's parenting. Both play the perfect role of father and mother to Ellion so that the child does not feel the lack of affection.
"Mommy, are we going to stay at Grandpa's?" asked Ellion enthusiastically.
"Yes, we're staying over."
"Daddy too, right?"
"Mm, sorry dear. Daddy has work to do. So Daddy can't stay the night" Christ replied regretfully.
She and Agatha live separately after the divorce but lately after Ellion has grown up, they often stay together in their apartment just to make Ellion happy and see that her parents are fine.
It may sound strange, they are no longer a couple but sometimes live together just to please their baby.
And maybe someday if fate allows it, Christ hopes that the woman who became his life can heal from the wounds he scratched. I hope that one day Agatha will take it back. For whatever reason he would atone for his sins in the past just to please Agatha and Ellion.
What happened in the past cannot be changed.
But the future can always change with what we strive for today.
Hopefully someday it will come soon.
I hope...
