Aji Just Realized She Looks Pretty

This is the first time Aji has seen an object that Lani thinks is a mirror. Finished cleaning his entire body with an object called bar soap. Aji looked back at her face in front of the mirror. Aji inched closer and squinted both of his eyes. Aji laughed out loud.

Lani appears behind Aji who is not yet wearing clothes. "Aji, Aji, what are you doing?"

"The mirror is funny too. Why is my face in the mirror?" ask Aji plain, grin.

Lani shook her head, grinning as well. "Aya-aya wae you, Ji. Been hunting, dressed. Help me clean up her dad's car, Ms. Pretty. He's going to the office."

"Eh, sir, can I ask you a question?" ask Aji who is still grinning.

"Ask what?"

Aji looked briefly at Aji's face in the mirror. "If I look carefully, my face is similar to Pretty's. I looked carefully into my eyes, somehow I looked like I was looking into Pretty's eyes too."

Lani immediately put one hand onto Aji's forehead. "Healthy you, Ji? No more catching wind? Early in the morning it was just slipping."

"Yes, I was surprised too. Your eyes and Pretty's mama's eyes. I'm confused what to say. But I feel like I'm just seeing twins. Your eyes and Pretty's eyes are about ninety percent similar, Ji. Aji nodded. After Lani leaves, Aji rushes to pick up the clothes he hung on the clothes hanger. He hummed one of the famous Javanese tembang in his era.
