EP.144 S2: The Struggle

Even though Jefry had ignored it did not give up on continuing to approach Grace. Until Nicho allowed him to approach Grace but of course with Nicho's supervision. Jefry also likes Grace more every day because Grace is a very independent woman.

Grace who knows is being approached is not budging and doing her activities as usual. Until one day, when Grace was walking to a shopping center she was confronted by two thugs.

"Miss quickly give away your valuables.!!" threaten the thugs.

Grace also calmly opened her bag but did not take out the item but took out a pepper spray. Immediately he sprayed the spicy pepper liquid into their eyes and they shouted.

Bugh..Bugh..Bugh..

Grace hit them several times and called the police. Some discitarians helped him secure the thugs before the police arrived.

Suddenly Jefry comes and wants to save Grace.

"Grace, are you okay?" ask Jefry.

"No, I'm fine." said Grace.

"Thank God" said Jefry.

"Senior, what's the need here?" ask Grace.

"I've had a meeting with a client" said Jefry.

"Oh so." said Grace then casually wait until the police arrived.

Jefry was again greeted by Grace's cold demeanor. It seems like it would be difficult to get into a relationship with him if he kept this cold. Jefry wondered further that their meeting did not end.

"Grace what are you looking for here?" ask Jefry.

"I have business with someone" Grace said.

"Oh that way, I'll keep you company until the police arrive." said Jefry.

"Thank you senior. But take it easy because the police have arrived" Grace said, hearing police sirens.

Police questioned Grace as a victim and arrested thugs who troubled residents, especially nearby traders and mall visitors.

"Senior, I have to go see someone. I'm sorry." said Grace.

"OK." reply Jefry. "It's cold" Jefry murmured inwardly.

Then he saw the thugs who looked in pain and a little battered. Jefry understands now why Nicho and Nathan are not giving Grace strict escorts.

Grace walks into the mall and heads to a cafe. There he met someone and spoke for a moment. Turns out Grace was at a job interview at a company. And he escaped in the final stage, he was interviewed himself by his prospective superiors.

They chose the cafe because the office space is being renovated. But Grace was lucky to be accepted into the company. Although his salary is small because he has not graduated from college, but he still took the job to add experience.

Grace hasn't told her family yet. At night after dinner, Grace tells Sheira and Theo.

Both of his parents were surprised not to play. They didn't think Grace would apply for a job at another company.

"Grace, mom and dad have companies why are you applying elsewhere?" ask Theo.

"Dad, I'm just looking for an experience" Grace said.

"Jeez, this kid is really." said Theo.

"Just let dad, so he knows how to work out there" Nathan said.

"Right, if I work with others, it will be different to work with dad" said Grace.

"Grace's words have a point, haven't we always protected her? so let Grace work but on one condition that she must be ready to return to the family company when needed" Nicho said.

"Well, you remember the words of Nicho Grace" Theo said.

Theo allows Grace to work for someone else's company. Nicho and Nathan then find out whether the company is in trouble or not. After checking, the company is quite good even though it is not a small company.

Nicho also told his dad that the company where Grace worked is fine. Nathan made sure of that, too.

The first day Grace started, she was already getting ready in a neat outfit before heading to the office. The mother who saw him smiled, Grace matched the outfit.

"How's mom?" ask Grace.

"Very good for you" said Sheira.

"Thank you mom." said Grace.

"Let's have breakfast" said Sheira.

Then Grace had breakfast with the others. Everyone seemed happy that Grace had started working and nothing was in her way. However, as soon as Grace goes to his office, Theo secretly sends his men to follow his daughter to the office. And Nicho tracked down the GPS he had planted in his car. And Nathan did the same thing by tracking Grace's position through his watch.

Grace knew nothing and went to work with passion. He was happy to be released to work for another company. That way he won't have the burden of working.

His first day was well spent. Nothing is bad and everyone treats it well. However, again Jefry knew Grace was working in his office. And this is definitely information from Nicho. Inevitably Grace also received a lunch delivery from Jefry.

"He's so persistent." Grace muttered inwardly.

Grace returned home on time because she also had to go to college at night. He never asked Nicho where Jefry knew he was working in his office right now. Now he has to live a life that feels very long because he has to work too.

After college, Grace was only able to introgate Nicho.

"So how does Jefry know I work?" ask Grace.

"Did he know you were working? but I swear I didn't tell him." Nicho said.

"Then how did he know? he sent me lunch." said Grace.

"Nath.. Did you tell Jefry that Grace was working?" nicho asked as Nathan passed them.

"Where is it possible, Jefry is your friend" Nathan said.

"That means he's a stalker, since when did he start following me?" Grace Gumam.

"If you start getting distracted I'll beat him up" Nicho said.

"I'll also step in if he starts making you uncomfortable" Nathan said.

"For now let it go, I'll handle it myself" Grace said.

"Alright, let me know that I'm always moving" Nicho said.

"I'll tell you" said Grace.

Jefry's struggle to approach Grace was openly reprimanded by Nicho. He almost hit his friend if Nathan didn't hold him.

"Experience you if you make Grace uncomfortable.!" nicho Ancam.

"All right, I'm sorry" said Jefry.

"It's Nick." said Nathan pulled Nicho.

But this does not make Jefry desperate, he will continue to approach Grace until he is accepted. Jefry has also asked some of his spies at the company where Grace works to report everything related to Grace.

"Grace, I don't care how cold you are with me, or how angry Nathan and Nicho are with me." Jefry muttered in his heart.
