Meaning of Patience. Season 2
When the obstacles that stop in life seem to never decrease, the stock of patience that is inside is increasingly thinning.
To get back to fulfilling it, you can try to apply ways to be patient, such as starting to change your perspective, to practice mind relaxation techniques with meditation.
Patience is not something that cannot be achieved. So, training yourself in certain ways is considered effective to re-fertilize this good trait.
How to practice patience has actually been taught since we were children, even when we were in kindergarten.
Remember when we were taught to take turns when we wanted to ride a swing at school? In the past, we may feel annoyed when we have to wait to do what we like. But apparently, these teachings are useful until we grow up.
Of course, the older you get, the problems that require patience are much more complicated than just waiting for your turn to play. In times that are heavy, you can do some ways to exercise patience so that the heart is calmer.
Have relaxation. It is not easy to be able to patiently face various characters of people. Not infrequently, our expectations cannot be met, even in simple things.
This can make us impatient and the simplest way to deal with it is to take a deep breath.
This is one of the simplest ways of relaxation. Just take a breath and throw it away slowly. Do this circuit for three to four seconds and make a pause before taking the next breath.
Customer or prospect suddenly cancel an order? For me, maybe this could be a huge loss.
Some of the efforts of people will do various ways to ask the team of workers to immediately contact these customers, in order to still be able to reach a deal that has almost happened before. However, imposing this kind of will is not the solution to getting customers. Even customers will also ask the store more and more to immediately comply with the request, but sometimes it is in accordance with what is asked there is still a mistake on us.
When someone cancels, it means they assume that the solution of our service does not really fit their current needs. Maybe let them do all sorts of ways to find the right solution for him. As for us, just have to wait for them to call back to make a purchase. Allah cannot be wrong in providing sustenance to His servants. Big or small, the sustenance given by God we are to be grateful.
It does not have to be material, simple things like free oxygen even good friends are also included from a sustenance.
It is just that, humans are often too ignorant of the sustenance of God. Man, acknowledged or not, often complains about what he gets. In fact, it could be that the sustenance that comes a little to man because of his actions, which can unwittingly narrow the sustenance.
Allah SWT created all beings to be perfect by the division of their sustenance. None of them will be abandoned, including us. What we need is whether or not we seek it. Higher still, true or not how to get it.
The sustenance here is certainly not just money. Science, health, peace of mind, life partner, descent, good name, brotherhood, obedience to Allah and His Messenger, including sustenance, are even higher in value than money and others.
However, there are many people who are troubled by this problem of distribution of sustenance. He felt his recovery was being dragged, even though he had tried his best to look for it.
There are many causes, perhaps a less professional way of looking for it, less serious about working on it, or there are conditions that cause Allah Azza wa Jalla to withhold the sustenance in question. There are at least five things that block the flow of sustenance.
First, the release of trust from the heart.
We are dependent on other than God. We try, but the work we do is not associated with Him. But Allah is according to the prejudice of His servant. “Whosoever trusts in Allah will surely Allah suffice (necessities) (QS. Ath-Candals [63]: 3).
Second, because of sins.
Sin is the barrier to the coming of sustenance. The Prophet said, “Surely one is farthest from sustenance due to his sinful deeds.” (SR Ahmed).
Third, work while earning a living.
Is our work a religion? Cheating in making a living, whether it is corruption, manipulation, will make our sustenance not blessed.
Maybe our money can, but the blessing of the money has been lost. What is the ungodly sustenance? Volatile for nothing and does not bring calm, difficult to use to obey God and bring disease. If we have already done so, immediately repent and return the property to those who deserve it.
Fourth, the work that deprives us of remembering God.
Many of our activities make our relationship with God more distant. We are preoccupied with work, forgetting to pray, forgetting to read the Koran, forgetting to educate the family, forgetting to study religion, forgetting to practice what Allah and His Apostle commanded. As a result, our work is not a blessing.
If so, do not be surprised if our sustenance will be clogged. Ideally, all work should bring us closer to God. Busy may be, but let not the rights of God we ignore. Brother, the real disaster is not the natural disaster that befalls others. The real disaster is when we get further away from God.
Fifth, refuse to give.
Whoever is stingy, his life will be narrow, his sustenance shortened. In contrast, alms are repellents of reinforcements, fertilizers of goodness, as well as double-folders of sustenance. Alms are like a seed growing seven grains, each of which uncoils a hundred seeds. That is, Allah the Almighty will repay him up to seven hundred times. (QS al-Baqarah [2]: 261). Wallahu a’lam.
