ARMY, DEAD (EPS. 3)
26. Uneasy

Aini had been able to stand up straight, staring at her two friends who were now retreating slowly, away from what they now saw. Instincts say that things are getting worse, but the heart can deny that Aini is a true friend.

"Aaaahhhh."

Vika screams, something bad has hurt Anita who is now lying on the ground wrapped in dry leaves. He stopped attacking, and a moment later preferred to go out of sight. Vika approaches to help Anita. The wound on one of his arms was quite bloody, but then the roar of sound began to approach, splitting the thickets brutally. The noise that was getting clearer and closer made Vika and Anita hide themselves.

"Surprisingly, his voice from earlier was around here."

Vika was choked, that voice as soon as she knew it, the voice that had tied the sacred promise with her had now returned like a hero that would save both of their lives.

"Dimas."

Dimas turned his head in the direction where the voice came from, firmly convinced that it was the voice of his wife. His guess was right, Vika stood up with Anita injured, the wound still bleeding fresh blood and began to cause extreme pain. Realizing that Anita was injured, Dimas asked the people who helped him to immediately treat her.

In the room in the middle of the forest, there was still a faint sound of impact from the fight between Danu who was still facing Respati and Arda. The mossy walls in the room were now black mixed with blood from the three people who were still fighting to determine their own fate. Apparently, it became a pausing clash before they finally sprawled. Arda was in the corner of the wall after previously Danu managed to throw him to hit the wall which caused a noise. Respati, while exposed to more severe conditions. Danu's own condition was no better than the two of them, bruised wounds were disguised by black blood coming out of the wounds of several incisions all over the body.

"Maha."

Danu laughed, he began to rise again with the remaining energy that might just be his last energy. He grinned showing a sense of satisfaction for the fight that was currently about to end. This is what Arda does not have that does not make it have the strength that Danu has today, namely unyielding and high confidence.

Elsewhere, for a moment there had been a small debate between them.

"You must come to the village, let you wait there, Aini's business let the cave find."

Anita vehemently refused, she insisted that she would come looking, she knew very well Aini's current condition, and when they faced the same conditions she had before, it was not impossible that they would take the last road he did not want, which was to kill him.

"Can't, the cave has to come."

"Dim, it's okay, we have to come."

Vika's hand on Dimas made him melt, he realized he could not resist their wishes.

Back to Danu's last fight. A small knife that is often bathed in the blood of its victims is now ready to be in the grasp, along with a cruel grin is ready to cut off the neck veins of the opponent. The eyes before him never stopped hating, even for a moment before his own death. His body trembled violently, the angel had finished picking up so quickly, now, there was only one left of an old man who would soon meet his end. Different from before, those eyes showed absolutely no hatred, behind his old face was a sense of accepting defeat, and he could still smile, belittling.

The grin returned, in the same darkness, waiting for the one he had long sought, and shortly after, his hope came to pass. The blank look, the black circumference around the eyes showed that he was no different now. Danu began to step foot, step by step he traced with the pleasure of having picked a victory, without him realizing that his goal was currently grinning cruelly. The demon he adored had taken everything away, and Danu had come to realize too late that she would now face something more than darkness in her heart. The figure approached, he smiled, and so did Danu, the distance between the two of them became closer as several steps passed, until finally Danu's grin disappeared as he hit a stab.

Dimas, Vika Anita and the villagers who had been moving since then, now began to approach an old building in the middle of the forest. There were no more voices there, everything was over and the fight was over but Danu was not yet the winner. Their steps came to a halt, they felt that something was there other than faint corpses could be seen lying around. True to their guesses, something was thrown from the exit of the building up to several meters away. Heartbeats began to advance to see the scene before them at this time, Danu was sprawled, his black blood covered with dirt dust and dry leaves that were long untouched by blood. He squirms, giving a sign that he is still in the world even though he is not okay.

Dimas gave the code, holding the movement of others not to get closer to the person who had just been exposed, he said, and after that he gave instructions that they all duck to cover themselves with bushes or tree trunks, l. Dimas felt confident that something capable of throwing the person away was not a good thing.

A human figure had walked out of the door, looking so happy, faint from the look on his face that always seemed to smile cruelly.

Anita held back the emotions that began to flare up, she could not see her best friend had changed, did not even remember her again, until she had hurt. Vika tries to calm Anita by hugging her, so that her crying voice can be muffled and not endanger their current position.

Aini stood right in front of the helpless Danu, her strength had been exhausted in the previous fight against Respati and Arda. Danu was still conscious, only that he could do nothing, he was helpless and perhaps a moment later lifeless. His eyes began to blur amidst the darkness, the wounds all over his body making him numb from the loss of a lot of blood. But then Danu was able to get back on her feet, but unfortunately not on her own two legs, the small, muscular arm of the woman before her firmly gripped Danu's neck, until he was forced to thrash with the rest of his energy for the sake of oxygen intake which is now being restrained, unfortunately his efforts again met failure. The resistance began to disappear, had resigned to the circumstances.

"Is this the last cave road? Is this really the path that the cave has chosen? I guess yes, and changing the choice when I'm kayak gini, grotto doesn't feel like a good thing."

A smile slowly began to flinch one last time, a smile so different from the one before that it signified that he had given up.

"Sorry..."
