27. Remaining Raga

The girl sat down, shortly leaning on a man who was beside her. The gentle breeze added to the comfort of the two of them to linger there during the hours of rest still going on.

"And can we be like this forever?"

The woman smiled, waiting for a pleasant answer from her partner. He was so hopeful that a moment like this did not end quickly.

But the answer from the couple is not so pleasant and not as expected. He removed his head from the backrest, looking at the man who was still staring far ahead. His eyes were empty, and expressionless.

The man looked over, smiling. Actually, since he felt strange about what he felt, something that was not very understandable had happened. But he chose not to say much and remained focused on his original goal.

The entrance bell rang, signaling their conversation should end here.

They walked together, to different classes, at the intersection of the hallway they split for a while, waiting for the school lesson after and then could return home together.

In the classroom, Danu was silent, she was still thinking about what she felt earlier, something that was not very understandable.

Arie, his classmate, broke the daydream and the taste.

Arie who is familiar with Danu is quite familiar with his figure, but Arie does not know that all is just part of a plan, until finally, he, danu's incitement leads him to an ambition to avenge the treatment of Benie and Randy at their Last Ascent.

The return hour has arrived, Aini is seen waiting near the parking lot of the student vehicle, he has been accustomed to go back to school with Danu.

Danu's hand began to clutch tightly to Aini's hand which strangled her neck, until she slowly let go of her grip. They face each other again, and Danu realizes that what he is facing is not the real Aini, now he has become the lifeless body possessed by the demon he once worshiped.

With haste, Danu attacked first, he had measured the limits of the abilities he was currently using, and he was sure that the power he was using would not give him a long time.

Danu growled, eyes began to turn red staring at the opponent after the attack was initially able to be avoided easily, but alas, Aini who was not himself did not show the slightest fear, even though he retreated, but unfortunately, but it is not a sign of defeat, but rather he is just being vigilant.

Aini laughed, knowing that Danu would soon die.

Dimas, Vika, Anita and the villagers who were still hiding watching their fight, could not do anything, they preferred to wait for the fight to be over and see who the winner was, then determine the steps. It would be very dangerous for them to take action, they could have been killed in vain.

The movements from Danu's attacks slowed down even more, his strength and endurance began to decline drastically, but along with that, a strange thing appeared. Aini who previously grinned, now began to cry and make movements out of control. Not wasting a chance, Danu started to react, returning to attack with some strength left. Danu's attack succeeded, and made Aini bounce far enough to vomit blood. Aware of the favorable circumstances, Danu did not waste a chance, he tried to attack with the speed he was still able to do. But his steps stopped, in front of him was now standing and ready to stop Danu's attack on his friend.

With the rest of the crying that has been held for the sake of not disturbing the fight. Not only Anita, Vika and Dimas are now in front of Danu but with different goals, they want to save Anita from the dangerous situation.

Danu snapped, but in his heart, Dimas confirmed what Danu said just now, but Anita still persisted with his stance, he still stood at the front to defend his friend.

Aini slowly retreated in such a fixed condition, she tried to run away from the fight, Danu chased but Aini was very difficult to catch, she continued to run away from Danu who was chasing her, not only Danu, but also Danu, Dimas, Vika, Anita and the residents who had only been hiding had come after him.
