Nora really lost her mind. He lost his appetite and his whole spirit after the anger of his father during the day. Nora spends her time crying in the room, or sometimes in the bathroom, and then looking for help through chat, but no one cares about her, not even Oki who used to hear his curses.
Nora still had one friend, and that person was the only one who still believed in her. Isaiah. Nora calls Isaiah and how lucky she is that Isaiah answers her phone in less than ten seconds.
"Ha .. lo!" sapa Nora interrupted sobbing. The listener must immediately know that he was crying badly.
"Hello! Don't tell me you got angry after being forced home by your parents earlier" Isaiah guessed.
"Si_you're right."
"Oh no, what happened?"
Nora sobbed a few times. "I-I can't tell you here. Can we meet up or make a video call so we can see each other in person?"
"I'm taking a shower, Nora. But all right, we'll see you if that's what you want. Where's?"
Nora wiped her tears and tried to calm down. "Okay, I'll wait for you at the cafe in August, I'll share the location to your number."
"All right, wait for me! Sorry if it's a while, I just started taking a shower."
Nora chuckled small. Then close the call. She was happy, the only person who still believed in her could make her smile and feel better.
Nora pulled the clothes from the closet and went to the dressing room to prepare. He was ready to arrive at the cafe and faced Isaiah directly to pour out all the contents of his mind and heart that was not careless.
Nora was forced to jump through the window of her room because she did not want her parents to know that she was out. Even he ordered a taxi so that there was no need to turn on the car engine that would immediately steal the attention.
In an instant, Nora was already in a taxi and she exchanged messages with Isaiah who she said was changing clothes. She was never conscious, their closeness might make one of them feel the thrill of love.
Nora arrives at the cafe, just as Isaiah says that he is on his way. Nora went inside the cafe area, booked one of the empty tables and sat there pondering over the problem that had already accumulated in her throat, ready to be poured out.
Nora's wait was not in vain, Isaiah came fifteen minutes later in warm clothes. He threw a smile since seeing Nora. Then he approached to sit down together with Nora.
"Hay! I feel like a psychologist after sitting in this chair."
Nora laughed a little. "Definitely never heard anyone vent to you?"
"Why should I hear them vent, it'll only add to my burden?"
Nora looked in annoyance. "So, why did you come here if venting would only add to your burden? I told you to come here to confide."
Isaiah smiled at the grim. Then shake. "If it's an exception for you. So, what do you want to talk about? That your parents are mad that hanging out with Dubai guys doesn't have rules like mine?"
Nora shook her head and laughed a little. "They don't know you, don't be so confident."
"Then let me go to your house to introduce myself."
"No" said Nora Ketus. "They wouldn't care a single thing about me. Believe me!"
Isaiah smears a smile. "So, what makes you cry until you say hello just can't?"
Nora hissed annoyed. "Because of that case. He said I was useless. I don't deserve to be unemployed and live in his house. He doesn't think of me as his son anymore." Nora's eyes are warming.
"You know what's the worst of it all? That he compares me to Andin..."
"Anden? Who's Andin?"
"He's my sister. Dad says Andin's an honorable teacher, he's got a lot of valuable service, and I'm useless."
Isaiah sighed. As someone who rarely heard curses, let alone about family matters, he could only respond with a soothing smile.
"Dad should have known I was depressed because of all the trouble I was having, but he didn't care. Instead he added to the burden and scolded me for the Daren case."
"So, the main problem is your case with Daren? People still talking about this news?"
"I'm desperate, maybe this story will be legendary" Nora said somewhat lower her tone. He wiped away the small water point at the end of his eyes to disguise his sadness.
"I did apologize to him, and he forgave me too. But the thing is, it was not him who caused me to think too much about this matter, but the other parties who supported Daren. Damn, more people support Daren than I."
Isaiah didn't know if the solution was so bad, he didn't care. "Daren forgive you?" ask with a tone of confusion.
"Yes, he protected me from attacking the reporters and he said he forgave me. I don't see him lying."
"Okay, are you all better now?"
Nora raised her shoulders. "Maybe."
"That means ... Did you like each other like before?"
"What?" Nora did not expect Isaiah to turn the conversation there.
"You wouldn't have had this whole conflict if you hadn't met Daren, would you?"
Nora hesitated.
"Try you ask yourself what positive side you've found since meeting DAren. Remember, the positive side! Not negative!"
Nora glanced to find answers. He found more negative than positive.
"You found him?" isaiah asked after waiting for almost a minute for Nora to bengong.
"No, everything's negative."
"No way" said Isiaiah. "I, watching you from afar, can actually feel it."
"What do you mean?"
"You're the right person."
"What?!" Nora raised her eyebrows high.
"You're a special person to Daren. You should be grateful to be someone special to someone out there."
Nora forgot how to breathe normally. His heart is beating very fast. Why did that sentence describe exactly what he was feeling all along? Why did he just find that love after all this time?
"Just admit it, Nora. I can see it," said Isaiah somewhat lowering his voice.
Instead of smiling and confessing, Nora cried as she pleased. Isaiah was astonished to see the strange behavior of the girl. He did not think that simple sentence would make Nora's cry this bad.
"What's going on?" asked Isaiah when he saw Nora's crying never subsided.
"I'm .. I've never been this honest with anyone, not even my closest friends. Youre right. You can guess it right."
Isaiah smears a smile. "I think everyone can guess that you fell in love, but you never had the courage to express it."
"But you're the only one who can describe it that accurately."
"So, are you really in love with Daren?"
Nora nodded in the middle as she pleased. "But I can't ..."
"Can't what?"
Nora was getting as excited, Isaiah could not lie anymore, that his mother's taste was already unbearable. "I can't fall in love with Daren, no matter how deeply I'm attracted to her."
"Why?"
"Because I'm waiting for someone. He's in the hospital."
