Not Accepting Other People's Advice

"I need your help!" daren said frankly after she was welcome to sit by Indah in an awkward state.

"Yes, of course," said Indah with doubtful mada. "What do I do for you?"

"My family told me to marry Nora because of that case," explained Daren completely without further ado. He was already impatient to declare his purpose of coming here. "You're Nora's best friend, you mean. You guys must be close to Nora. I thought you could help me persuade him."

Beautiful expression no longer looked awkward and doubtful, but rather flat expressionless as if she had a grudge against Nora.

Daren hurriedly continued her explanation before she listened to the Exquisite answer which was like it would disappoint her, "Maybe she likes me. If he didn't like me, he wouldn't look at me that way. And I like him because he's different, even though he's the one who caused this whole mess. But every time I tried to tell her that I liked her, she always dodged. The last time I talked to her that I loved her, she told me that she liked other people. She's already engaged to someone else" Daren explained. For the first time he was this open to others. This was the influence Nora exerted after appearing in Daren's life.

Lovely was still gaping in disbelief for a few seconds until Daren finished his sentence. "You like Nora?"

"Yes" said Daren, somewhat averted his eyes.

Beautiful gulped it down strongly. "I-I'm glad to hear that. I mean .. yes I'm happy," said Indah nervously. Can't believe he's gonna be a vent for a cold guy like Daren. "But I'm sorry, I can't help you persuade her because I haven't been in contact with her since she was involved in the video case."

Daren frowned in confusion brows.

"Yes, me and Oki, we're so pissed at him. We support you, he should not open the disgrace of people carelessly, let alone you this besides having a big company and a CEO, you are also a public figure whose name must be maintained. With ease, Nora ruined your name, I got mad at her and fired her for not wanting more people to be the same as you."

Daren stared in disbelief. "Why are you so angry with him that you break off the friendship, and I forgive him myself."

Lovely little shakes. "My trust in him is gone. Now, the project is failing miserably and the company is on the verge of going bankrupt due to getting a lot of blasphemy from netizens. Everything was ruined just because of his selfishness."

Daren looked down to think about what she had just heard. Come to think of it, she could be even more angry than Indah, let alone she was a disfigured figure. But why would he forgive Nora so easily? Why wasn't he angry at the girl as angry as the people defending her?

"I'm sorry. I can't help you, and if you want to hear my advice. I think you need to find another girl who's better than Nora. She's kinda ...."

"I love him," interrupted Daren in a cold and flat tone.

Indah did not continue her sentence because she was afraid of Daren for emotions. He put on a forced smile without saying anything.

"I'll try it myself if you don't want to help me." Daren got up from his seat while buttoning the bottom of the suit, then he walked out with a disappointed expression.

"If you come to Oki, you'll get the same answer. She was the most disappointed with Nora, because you were her idol."

Daren kind of stopped the move. But he did not look. "Nora's not that bad, which is why I forgive her. You should, too," Daren said before he left the Beautiful room to return to his office and find his own way to approach Nora.

Daren has decided to keep proposing to Nora even though Nora says she is engaged. Daren wasn't so sure about that statement. The pressure from his family was too strong to be refuted by anything else.

Nora was still somewhat annoyed with Isaiah at once to herself. For the first time he invited a stranger to meet Ravka, this time his whole mind was raging, either from feeling guilty, or from feeling sorry.

Nora is in a taxi along with Isaiah who plans to go to his house. He could not resist because the way Isaiah persuaded him was very unlikely to allow Nora to refuse, let alone Nora in a moodless state to talk let alone refute people.

The taxi stopped right in front of the gate of Nora's house. Isaiah had nothing to be ashamed of going in through the gates of Nora's house, as if he had gotten used to coming to this house.

"My dad doesn't like strangers. Especially for the people I am concerned with. So, you need to lower your expectations" explained Nora as they reached the main doorstep.

Nora pressed the bell a few times.

"This is my father's house, not mine" Nora said. His gaze was full of meaning, so Isaiah could grasp another meaning of Nora's sentence.

The waiter opened the door and welcomed Nora's arrival in a friendly manner.

"Dora!" exclaim someone even when a new door opens a few inches. Andin is seen sitting on the living room sofa while arranging some of his books on the table. Nora could guess there was a person from the school who had just come to this house.

Andin's smile shrieked as she saw Nora coming with a man. At first he thought, the man was Daren, but as he squinted to take a clearer look, the figure turned out to be a stranger he had never seen before.

Unlike Andin who stared in astonishment, Isaiah could not blink to look at Andin. He had to be pulled by Nora to pass through the door and cross the living room floor.

"He's my brother Andin!" nora said to Isaiah who still had not shrunk his smile.

Andin glanced inexplicably towards Nora.

"He's Isaiah, he's the one who saved me and DAren when we got into trouble."

Andin nodded in understanding. "Please sit!" andin said as he pointed at the empty sofa before him.

"You never said your sister was as pretty as an angel" Isaiah said in a slurred tone.

Nora looked tensely. Did he not hear wrong? Isaiah praising a girl? He turned to Isaiah's face and did not find a single joking expression on Isaiah's face.

"Excuse me?" Andin stared intolerably at the physical praise as the first impression of their introduction.

"Isaiah, my sister is engaged and they're getting married."

"Oh .. sorry, I don't know" Isaiah said. Disperse daydreams.

"I told you once!" urge Nora while pressing Isaiah's arm.

"Yes? Why don't I know?" sahut Isaiah still did not take his eyes off Andin's face.

"I don't think your brain is okay." Nora encourages Isaiah to sit on one of the sofas, while he hugs the older sister as he recalls his sadness.

"I told Isaiah about Ravka. She said I was hoping for something uncertain" Nora explained after she sat down next to her sister.

"I've always wanted to say that a long time ago, I'm glad someone represented it."

Nora looked in disbelief at Andin. "But Ravka .. she's alone, and I promised to stay with her."

"But we also don't know if he will return or not" said Isaiah got a nod of agreement from Andin.

"And you can't spend your time just waiting for him to lie there. I don't want my sister to be old."

"What do you plan to do if I give up?"

Andin pressed his shoulders. "Bringing you to someone else. Daren for example."
