ARROGANT CEO IN LOVE

ARROGANT CEO IN LOVE
Chapter 50

Somehow Nora feels excited because today she will go with Daren to the company where she has applied for a job. He knew the company wasn't the best, but at least he got a call to conduct an interview.

"Just enter!" daren said after Nora appeared in the corridor of her house. Daren happily skips out of the office just to drop Nora off. Secretly, he started to be happy about being able to get close to Nora.

"You're not going to the office?" nora asked after she sat in the seat beside Daren.

"I'm from the hospital. Maybe after this it'll go straight to the office."

Nora immediately remembered Micky. "How's Micky doing?"

Daren wants to say that the doctor's news he heard a few years ago is not good news. But he didn't want to make Nora worry, which was why he smiled. "Everything's good."

"Thank God. I wish I could come see her again." He recalled the time he and Daren were put together by Micky in the hospital, until now he did not dare to discuss it because it made him somewhat embarrassed.

In an instant, they had reached the Zenaya Company, where Nora and Daren had first met in an incident. Nora hated to remember that because it would embarrass her, which is why she focused on staring at a different building than the last time NOra entered this area.

Nora took a deep breath.

"Don't expect too much. The company is still in recovery phase."

Nora nodded in understanding.

Daren precedes him out of the car, while Nora catches up moments later after feeling quite calm. There were some files that he held tightly to the crest in his hand. The files are what he will submit as a guarantee that he is not an ordinary employee.

Both went into the company. Nora was somewhat relieved that there was no Juan and Doni, or that they would laugh at Nora's nervous expression that had been stuck right next to Daren. They stopped in front of the HRD room, but the room was empty.

"Excuse me!" greet Daren to one of the employees who is not wearing a uniform, but wearing a name tag on his shirt.

"Yes?"

"We want to see HRD."

The man, who must have known who Daren was just staring flatly. "Sorry, what's the need?" he said with a cynical tone.

"Someone wants to apply for a job here."

The man squinted his eyes. Thinking of something mysterious, then turned his gaze towards Nora. He walked closer to whisper Nora and Daren, "Don't! I'm warning you not to apply for a job here!"

"Why?" asked Nora in a normal tone. The man immediately told her to be quiet. He didn't stop looking around to watch.

"You don't know what happened here?"

"I know" said Nora.

"You want to be that abused woman? Since the demo took place, not a single woman has been willing to work here. I wonder why you're proposing here."

Nora looked at each other with Daren.

"The thing is, only this company accepts me."

The man nodded slowly. "You'd rather be harassed to get a job?"

Nora wants to answer no, but the truth is. "Sir, I have no choice."

"He's gone home an option," interrupted Daren in a firm tone. "He won't work here. Thank you!" Daren pulls Nora out of the area until she reaches the parking lot.

"I don't want you in danger. You heard it yourself, the women here are often harassed."

"But I have no other choice. I gotta get a job soon or my dad's gonna kick me out."

"Just work in my office. You got plenty of room there."

Nora was silent for a moment. He just remembered Daren has an office. Nora was originally thinking about Daren's company, but she didn't want to fall in love with Daren for too long.

"I just want you to be safe. Youunderstand?" Daren looked at meu towards Nora who was still upset. "There are still plenty of opportunities out there. Don't sacrifice yourself."

Nora finally nodded. Somehow his ego fell this easily.

"You can work from tomorrow in the communications department. I'll recommend you." Daren opens the car door for Nora. "Lake in!"

Nora was forced into the car. Wear a seatbelt in a raging state of mind. He just realized, Daren's attention to him was huge. She couldn't have imagined that had Daren not delivered her yesterday, she would have truly become the only female employee in that monstrous company.

The car is running as before. Nora glanced at Daren several times for no apparent reason. He did not know, lately he felt happy every time he was close to Daren, but in his deepest heart he was still trying to deny that happiness.

"Down me here" said Nora as they reached the crossroads.

"Why?" Daren glanced at the confusion.

"I'm going to the hospital."

Daren immediately remembered Micky. Nora's going to see Micky. "I can drive you."

"You said you'd go straight to the office."

"there's an exception if it's about you." Daren smiled at the end of the sentence. Then he runs his car again. Nora was different again, she was not sensitive at all to Daren's speech just now.

Nora got out of the car in front of the crowded hospital corridor.

"Send my regards to Micky, tell him I'll come tonight!" order Daren and then run his car out of the hospital area.

Nora raised her shoulders unconcerned. He doesn't want to go to Micky, but Ravka. "Yes," whispered Nora. "I'll go see Micky."

Nora went inside. He saw some patients being wheelchairs or being led to walk by nurses. As soon as he imagined the salh one of the patients to be Ravka, how happy it was to see the man finally regained consciousness.

Nora goes into Micky's room. The patient is asleep. His face was innocent and innocent. Nora immediately felt pity when she realized there were some additional medical devices on Micky's body, such as a nasal tube attached to his nose.

Nora couldn't wake Micky. Finally he just stroked the back of Micky's hand and went out to go to Ravka's room.

There is a great guilt. Nora feels she betrayed Ravka for being happy with another man.

"I'm sorry, Ravka. I won't do it again!" nora whispered inwardly as she ascended to the seventh floor with the elevator.

In the middle of the journey, Nora somewhat thought of everyone's persuasion of her waiting that might end up in vain. There are truths that plague Nora's mind, such as the question, "Until when are you going to wait for Ravka to wake up?"

Nora may not know the answer, but she is sure that one day Ravka will wake up.
