LAMENTATION

Nahaliel was right, not long after I had walked in the valley, there was a crossroads, to the right of the Eklesia fortress and to the left of the city of astaroth, but black smoke rose high and was seen from a distance.

Wasn't that astaroth that was burning up. Are there any survivors there or did Azmaveth slaughter all the inhabitants? Should I head there? isn't it very dangerous, because there are so many monsters, ghosts and all sorts of other terrible creatures that I still don't recognize?

" Don't be afraid.Go, look at astaroth. "

I quickly looked back to see who had just spoken...oh, it turned out to be Nahaliel! how come? is he behind me now?

" You should see astaroth one last time, "Nahaliel said again affirming his words again.

" You must see how a fortune and a glory will be destroyed in an instant by death. So that later you can tell your grandchildren" said Nahaliel

" I heard from the astaroths, saying they had an agreement with azmaveth. But why did azmaveth have him? " many more.

" The city of astaroth should have been destroyed long ago, they gave tribute to the kingdom of azmaveth, and made a pact with the gods of mammon who were none other than the creatures of azmaveth in disguise. They thought after that azmaveth would let them live in safety. Nah! azmaveth is not present to protect, he is only for one purpose,... DESOLATION.." continued Nahaliel gloomily.

We were both stunned to see the thick black smoke rising high behind that mountain. Makes me think back to the city of capernaum. And now astaroth, the city of wealth is also destroyed.

" You should see it, even if it's your life at stake. That would be very valuable. If you stay alive, then you will pass down from generation to generation, where you see for yourself as the cities fall. That's if there are still generations that exist and survive, but I doubt it. " said Nahaliel.

And she started singing again with sad lyrics...

..." Oh humble capernaum.., No more laughter of your sons and daughters in the afternoons, No more smiles of your girls, as they draw water in your wells......

...Your springs are dry;...

...No more refreshing drinks for tired travelers....

...Your stiff nape has destroyed you; you see but do not want to see, You hear but do not want to hear. Now you will not see and hear again, until forever....

...O glorious astaroth, your riches are heard throughout the earth, the dream of every hero, your golden luster blinds the traveler. You have bound your people, now bound in a cursed covenant. No more precious stones of astaroth, fine silk, and the sheen of its chariots....

...Pride and pride, have intoxicated you;...

...It makes you fall, fall so deep. And thou shalt not rise again;...

...Your riches were plundered, and all your possessions have now become dust....

...You will not rise again from your intoxication; you will not rise again forever "...

" The destruction has begun, they must be warned." Nahaliel said.

" Metaneos, I will go again, but not to Ecclesia, where I am going, you need not know, the time will come, you will know. But for now, tell all that you see here to the knights of Eklesia. "

Nahaliel bowed sadly, but this time was sadder than before.

" The time has come, "he said as he passed and sang;

..." Eklesia oh Eklesia...City of knights and heroes; your high walls will destroy you alone,...

...Truly longing for your King to reunite you, there will come a time when you will be restored as you were created. "...

And Nahaliel passed from before me, far away. He mash sings with the sound of his sword. After Nahaliel passed, I was alone again. And I am gathering the courage to set my foot back toward the city of astaroth which is being destroyed.

Scorching sun towards noon, but thick cloudy and plumes of smoke make sunlight reluctant to penetrate to the ground. I walked with the strength of the knight to the top of the mountain, looking from a distance, the destruction of the city of astaroth.

I peeked out from the towering trees at the top of the mountains, to make sure that the city was safe. Let there be no army of Azmaveth wandering in the city.

After being convinced that everything was safe, I came out of hiding behind the mountain top, I quickly flew no more than ten steps above the ground, and stepped into the debris of the astaroth. How could such a big city be destroyed so quickly? is it true as the warrior leader or the slave-hunter said, as well as Nahaliel. That there is a creature named Mammon who has long been the ruler of this city, no wonder when I was still weakly exposed to phisea poison. I saw various fine creatures in and out of the houses of the people.

It turned out that walking among the rubble filled with dust and smoke to see these lingering signs of life, was very sad for my heart.

Scattered bodies that are no longer alive everywhere, scattered to fill the ruins of the city, some lost their heads, hands even split into two parts, but most burned. Seeing the faces of those who are now corpses, made my heart grow even more painful.

I imagined their faces while still alive, there were jokes and laughter especially children, but now they have to die in a horrible way.

I heard the cry of a child. There are still people alive in this place! With me looking for where the voice came from, and finally I found a little baby girl, still 2 years old and under. she was crying beside the figure of a woman who was lifeless. Maybe it was his mother. The baby was very weak and helpless, he cried from hunger and thirst and tried to find his mother's milk, my heart was broken and grievous.

And at the same time, suddenly the shadow of the past in my previous life reappeared. I.Have a baby daughter and a wife I love very much.

Soon I regained consciousness, without thinking I stretched out my hand and carried the baby away looking for a hiding place among the houses that had become rubble. Looking for the leftovers that are still worth eating, I also gave my bottle of water that I brought, at least not to be thirsty and hungry.

Then I found the rubble and I searched the kitchen, hoping there was food that could still be eaten. I soon found porridge in the cauldron that was still closed and warm even though the kitchen had collapsed. I took my bottle of water and cooked with the remnants of the fire, at least the water became warm and could be drunk by the baby. The baby in my carrier was crying from hunger and thirst. Immediately I gave the porridge a little at a time and drank some water.

Finally, the baby girl did not cry. I held her back and I rubbed her to calm the baby.
