New Place---

chapter 7

I'm rattled. Should I bring the body that I thought was Laura's father, or directly take the three of them away from this place and leave Laura's father's body here?

I cannot lift a rock that is the same size as two horses.

In the end I chose to take the three of them away from this place and leave her father Laura here...

I'm still confused...

Is the decision I made right?

I doubt...

Things continue to get worse. We better get out of town soon. And find a new place to live. I'd better think about this decision later...

Most of the city has been destroyed. The rocks are still raining down on this place. Many people have died where. I don't know what's going on out there.

After that we rushed out of the city via the evacuation route. There were so many people, people crowded and crowded. Not a few people were injured. After passing through the gate, we boarded a horse carriage.

No wonder they had already done a bit of preparation, yet was this a little too late already ?

After boarding, we headed to the hills of Mayene. There are many emergency tents. There are also several medical tents set up.

I was thinking of finding a place a little far away from our old residence. I don't want the same thing to happen to us again.

I also asked Ruiner about this. He'll certainly come along. I also asked Laura and her mother.

In the end we all boarded the train that led to the city of Glastern which was located approximately one hundred and twenty-seven kilometers to the northeast.

During the trip, Laura was silent. He may still be devastated by his father's death. Sometimes he also looks outside.

After a long journey. We finally arrived at the town of Glastern. There we were treated to a very beautiful view. Every corner of the city was overgrown with shady trees.

Unlike the city where I used to live, there may also be a lot of trees, even if it is only in the market and some streets in the city center.

There we looked for homes for sale. I had a doubt, is there still a house for sale in a place like this?

Ruiner and I split up looking for information about the house to sell. Laura was still sitting limp under the tree with her mother.

It seems like we are very lucky. On the outskirts of the city there is a house with three rooms that are being sold at a fairly cheap price. Because the money we brought was small, we bought the house.

Although it was just a simple house, at least the four of us had a permanent residence in this new city.

After a few days of living in a new place, I saw a few things. Almost every day there were people and royal soldiers going back and forth outside the city of Glastern. Sometimes, not all of them return safely. There were injuries and some disappeared. Maybe there really is a war out there...
