Azur Lane: Silent Service

Azur Lane: Silent Service
Chapter 6 - USS Seawolf... Engage!!

Before, I've thought about this.

Skill Weapons From Another World was an extremely dangerous ability. The use of that skill allowed me to create the weapons that were in my mind. One of the weapons I created was Sofia. An artificial intelligence inhabiting my submarine system.

Well... Sofia was officially the Commanding Officer on my ship. All systems regarding weaponry, logistical needs, and submarine maintenance have been fully held by Sofia. Sofia is actively fulfilling my needs as a submarine and doing a very helpful little improvisation.

“Master, we have a big problem!” inside my submarine's secret communications network, Sofia made little contact with me.

“What's up, Sofia?” I replied with a small tone because the private room given by Admiral this place was attached to sound eavesdroppers scattered in every corner of the room.

“This is related to our plan. It is only a matter of time before they realize the irregularities of the Admiralty Code order and the breakdown of the militar” network Sofia said in a serious tone.

“Truely too, should we do that?” my many.

“I guess, it's better, Master.”

Yes, what we had planned was to destroy the Siren Strongholds and disappear like a secret army.

“How about our food supply?” my many.

“Un! For the consumption of one person, food supplies can last up to three months. Since I don't need food, Master can freely enjoy the lavish dinner supplies.”

“Heeeh... Did you manage to get supplies for Royal Navy dinner? Cunning too..”

“Ah... No. gabe... No. gabe... Master is more cunning than I am. Cheating Azur Lane and Crimson Axis with the Admiralty Code... That's more cunning than I am.”

“Fufu... They are too obedient to Admirality Code” I said withholding my small smile.

“We need to leave now?” ask me to shorten the time.

“Of course, faster is better, Master. Let's destroy Siren Strongholds and build a military base!” sofia said excitedly.

Yep! As you all heard. This is just a rough plan about us trying to become a secret unit seriously. Build a secret military base, create a Seawolf-class Sister-Ship, and capture sirens for specific purposes.

Uh! Creating a harem situation becomes a secondary goal. For that one, I was able to do it casually because I was very confident in my lower torpedo ability.

While breaking through Azur Lane's military network, Sofia discovers a secret project regarding siren research and siren technology. Seeing the development and understanding of the siren that was too late, I realized one thing that the Azur Lane side and the Crimson Axis side had been at war with each other. The incident regarding the Orochi Project that Sakura Empire developed opened a new gate for sirens that took advantage of the situation. Regarding the incident, the Sakura Empire side bore losses for both sides and put forward an alliance with the other factions. They also shared a military headquarters for the same purpose to avoid the embarrassing incident.

If my calculations are correct, the situation in this era is at peace. The same enemies and different ideologies create a very fragile bridge. To that end, humanity became a bridge for them. Led by an Admiral, minor infighting can be muted and decisions on military movements can be monitored.

Putting aside the human race serving as Admiral, Gibraltar's military base is filled with women. As far as the eye could see, there were no men serving in this military base. Hm... The rest is just cute manju. But, I heard that in the main headquarters of Azur Lane there is the legendary “Admiral of the Navy”. Moreover, he is a man. It made me wonder about her harem life.

To that end, I created a false identity as Fleet Admiral from the secret unit of the Admirality Code and intend to sneak into the main headquarters of Azur Lane.

Oho! Speaking of rank in Azur Lane. There are several ranks that can be achieved by mankind such as Private, Petty Officer, Ensign, Lieutenant Junior Grade, Lieutenant, Lieutenant Commander, Commander, Captain, Rear Admiral Lower Half, Rear Admiral, Vice Admiral, Vice Admiral, and many others, Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Admiral of the Navy.

I left a small message on the table and rushed out of this military base. Of course, I got out of this place with stealth techniques.

Siren Strongholds... I came!

Ah... Before that, I'll do a little prank before I leave.

Un! Thanks to the Weapons From Another World skill, I created a high-level printing press and camera. Eng's? Why would I create something like that? Well... If you change your mindset, cameras and printing presses are propaganda weapons. It is simply creating a weapon based on mindset and necessity. To that end, I'm spreading a cute photo of Bismarck at the Gibraltar military base. Of course, photo paper is an effective propaganda weapon. As I said, it all depends on the point of view. If it was a weapon, this skill would make it!

-----&&&-----

“Bismarck, how can it happen?” admiral asked Bismarck.

After the duel between Bismarck and Seawolf was over, a special strategy meeting was held. The footage of the Bismarck and Seawolf fight became a high-level military secret due to the Admiralty Code's protected status of Seawolf.

“I don't know, why can I lose? That's what makes me wonder” Bismarck replied in a serious tone.

“Then, how about you?” admiral's question to U-30.

“A-I don't know either. As far as I can understand, I only made small contact regarding Seawolf's position to Bismarck and the incident happened” the U-30 responded.

“Hmm... It's getting more complicated” Admiral murmured.

“Hood, you brought it?” admiral's gaze now turned to Hood who was carrying a black suitcase.

“Admiral..” Hood gave the black suitcase to Admiral.

The Admiral received the black suitcase from Hood's hand and opened it. From behind the suitcase was a black paper containing information about Project Seawolf.

“Ah... It turned out that they were kind enough to give me this information. So apparently, who would have thought if Eagle Union would act past their moral limits” said Admiral.

Iron Blood and Royal Navy representatives were confused by Admiral's revelation. They were wondering about the information Admiral had just obtained.

“Royal Navy, your maid spy squad is terrible. This sensitive information probably slashed half my life. Huhuhuhu!! But it was worth the result. Hoods... Burn this paper and be sure to burn it out!” admiral's orders while handing over the papers he just read.

“Ung??” Hood seemed confused by his Admiral's orders.

His Admiral's request was a little ambiguous but Hood went through with the order and burned the papers he had received.

“Consider everything! What you're about to hear is classified information that Royal Navy spies have been able to obtain. I don't blame Bismarck for his little mess of unauthorized duels, but there's one thing you should know. Project Seawolf is a double-edged sword created by Eagle Union. The incidents regarding the Orochi Project and the G Code are interrelated. That's what made Eagle Union develop Project Seawolf because of their fear that the incident caused by you will happen again.”

“...”

“...”

“What I'm talking about is the disagreement between Azur Lane and Crimson Axis that sirens utilize. The idea of the Seawolf Project came from the idea of Admiral Arthur Mac William and his grand ambition to create a cost-effective disposable army. Project Seawolf went smoothly, they successfully developed a submarine unit and training troops aimed at fighting the siren. The results of the Project gave birth to a special force sent to explore the ocean for a long period of time. Of the 100 units that were successfully formed, they disappeared after Enterprise realized the awkwardness about Project Seawolf using the orphanage children as guinea pigs.”

“...”

“...”

“One of the information we managed to get is the flag ship that leads the Seawolf-class unit held by the man. The man had the equivalent rank of Fleet Admiral. He was the one leading the Seawolf-class movement under the radar range of the Azur Lane alliance. Bismarck... U-30S... The defeat of your duel is a very natural thing. That's because SSN-21 was a very famous urban mythical figure when I entered military school. Ghosts unseen in the ocean, attack unnoticed, disappear without a trace, and all that is done to help Azur Lane from behind the scenes.”

“...”

“...”

“Ughh!! I was too stupid to treat him harshly. Ohoo!! Hood!! Serve him well!” admiral's orders.

*Took...

*Took...

*title...

“Admiral! Our prisoner of war managed to escape and left a small letter to Admiral!” from behind the door, a maid ran over carrying a small letter and wore a panicked expression.

“H-Huh? Who's running away? Do we have a prisoner?” admiral said as he tilted his head.

*Ctaaaack...

*Duuug...

Hearing the information that had just been received, Hood looked extremely panicked and snatched the letter held by the maid.

Hood opened the contents of the small letter and showed the contents of the letter.

“I-Iniiii!!!” as Hood opened the contents of the letter, he was very surprised by the contents.

“A-Admiral!!” with a face filled with panic. Hood showed a photograph containing an aerial image of Siren Strongholds and a small message from Seawolf.

[USS Seawolf's... The excitement!]
