Chapter 8 - Attack Siren Strongholds Miniboss

After three days had passed, the body of my submarine had arrived in the waters of the Siren Strongholds and received a warning regarding the Level 6 Corrosion. The waters of the Siren Strongholds felt so heavy and congested for the body of my submarine.
As expected of a Level 6 Corrosion, the status of the debuff given was very pronounced.
I continued my journey by adjusting the environmental conditions of Siren Strongholds. This three-day trip will be enough data to train Sofia.

You guys see that? A sentence that says “Undetected”. It was like saying that destroying Siren Strongholds was an easy matter.
Yep! With my submarine technology and guidance from the Hunter Killer Drone. Performing an on-target attack from a distance can be done. However, the ammunition I carried was very limited to do so.

“All submarine systems have entered battle station mode and are on standby!”
“Good work, Sofia! Insert UGM-84 Harpoon into all torpedo launcher tubes and raise the submarine to 200!” depth
“Government accepted! Immediately execute the command!”
I could feel the body of my submarine heading to the depth of 200 and my active front loading the UGM-84 Harpoon into the torpedo launcher tube. The strange feeling I felt was like the body instinct of my submarine that was moving wanted to attack.

The body of my submarine slowly moved towards the right at a slow speed. The depth of 200 is a vital point capable of generating cavitation bubbles for submarines. If not careful, the sound of cavitation from the propellers of my submarine would indicate my position.
Tactical Map Operation shows the countdown of UGM-84 Harpoon flying towards their target. After the countdown was complete, I checked the situation with the Hunter Killer Drone. A terrible sight was seen in the main system of my submarine. The sirens and miniboss sirens that were the target of the UGM-84 Harpoon attack were drowned in the ocean.
“Is eight UGM-84 Harpoon too overkill for one miniboss?” little mutter.
“That means they can be defeated with a smaller explosive power?” continue my little murmur.
Awwww... UGM-84 Harpoon left 12 pieces. I had to save it before I made a new stock of ammunition.
“Sofia, insert UGM-84 Harpoon into all torpedo launcher tubes and separate Solution for each tube!”
“Ready, Master! Setting up Solution for each torpedo launcher tube!”
Once again, the front body of my submarine actively moves loading the UGM-84 Harpoon into the torpedo launcher tube. The small signal from the Hunter Killer Drone was able to penetrate 200 depths and it made it easy for me to adjust the coordinates of the target of the attack.
“Sofia, all stop! Adjust Siera coordinates based on Hunter Killer Drone position!” my spoken.

The strike order is ready to go, the main system of my submarine is giving a green signal which means it is ready to launch an attack. A small question arises from my mind, how do I measure the vulnerability of the miniboss siren with the UGM-84 Harpoon attack?

“Sofia, Siera target set with Solution 1 and Solution 2!” my orders to Sofia.
“Understanding! Set Siera target with Solution 1 and Solution 2!”
“Solution 1, ready!”
“Solution 2, ready!”
Well, I will test the resilience of the miniboss siren with two small attacks from UGM-84 Harpoon.
“Siera 1 and Siera 2, Fire!” my orders.
Two torpedo launcher tubes opened wide and launched UGM-84 into the water surface.
“Master, should we move away from this place?” ask Sofia.
“Nope, I'm observing the resilience of their bodies. Eight UGM-84 for one siren miniboss too overkill if thought. I want to test how much UGM-84 is needed to attack one siren miniboss.”
My gaze was fixed on the Tactical Map Operation, two UGM-84 Harpoon flying towards the target of Siera had entered the observation range of Hunter Killer Drone.

Welp, I can't hear the sound of the explosion. However, the defense of sirens and miniboss sirens hit by UGM-84 warheads was destroyed without a trace.
