#21 My Story [Kai Side] - What the hell am I thinking?
"Are you okay?" Ask Kai to Minna.
"Yes, I'm fine." Answer Minna who was still surprised by the incident.
"Is your shift done?" Ask Kai again.
"It's time to close, I have to clean up first." Answer Minna.
"Oh yes please." Kai said to Minna. Kai picked up Minna's identification on the floor and walked out.

Kai sat outside and watched Minna clean up occasionally...
"Why is he keeping the night? He must have been very scared." Kai said while looking into the minimarket.
"He was so diligent, huh? studying on campus morning to evening, working in the minimarket from afternoon to evening, how could he be that smart? when did he learn? does he have time to do the job?" Kai said curiously.
"Aishhh what the hell am I thinking." Then Kai took the phone out of his pocket.
"Today is tiring, Taegyeong is the father of the buyer that's a god..." Kai put his head on the table.
"Awww.jeez I forgot, I just got my stomach hit ahhh fucking Taegyeong!" Kai was in pain if his body bent a little.
"I have to move carefully." Kai sat down properly.
"Oh yeah I forgot to send a message to Dohwan hyeong." Kai also typed a message to Dohwan.
*rek...* Minna closed the door minimarket and washed it from the outside.
"God! you still here?" Minna was shocked to see Kai still sitting outside.
"Wait here to get you a drink first." Minna.
"No-no, no need. I'm just worried that the buyer came back and made a mess." Answer Kai.
"Thank you for helping me out, I really don't know how it would have been if you hadn't come." Minna said to Kai.
"It's okay I just happened to pass by and see so I went straight in. Are you hurt?" Ask Kai to Minna.
"I'm not just surprised." Answer Minna.
"It's your identification, sorry I broke the rope." Said Kai.
"Ohh yeah it's okay I'll ask for a new one later." Minna answered while receiving her identification and put it in her bag.
"Is your home far from here?" Ask Kai.
"Not far, just 10 minutes from here." Answer Minna.
"Let's take you home." Bring Kai.
"Ehhhh no need, I'm fine. Besides my house is not far away, I can go home by myself" Minna said.
"Hey, it's not good for women to walk alone these nights. I feel like it's not easy to let you go home alone, I also happen to want to go to my friend's house" Kai said jokingly.
"Shhhhh, Yashida. Thank you then." Minna answered with a smile.
Kai said in his heart.
They walked towards Minna's house.
"Your house is this way too?" Ask Kai.
"Yes my house in O's apartment." Answer Minna.
"Ohhh my friend's house in M's apartment, so you can all pass by." Said Kai.
"Yes right." Answer Minna.
"You've been working there a long time?" Ask Kai.
"Yes pretty good about 3 years, but I often permission to be my more work partner." Answer Minna.
"My friend also works at the minimarket, he has worked there for a long time." Said Kai.
"Is your friend Dohwan oppa?" Ask Minna.
"Do you know him?" Ask Kai back.
They also talked all the way. Kai chats casually with Minna and apologizes for upsetting Minna about the book in the library.
A few minutes later...
"It's up to my apartment, sorry I couldn't get you to stop by." Ask Minna.
"It's okay anyway it's been a bad night to stop by." Said Kai.
"Be careful on the road." Minna said then turned to go up the stairs.
"Ehh Minna." Kai called Minna back.
"What if tomorrow we do the job prof. Choi together? I need that book you borrowed, too." Ask Kai.
"All right, until tomorrow in the library." Minna answered with a smile.
"Yes till tomorrow, thank you" said Kai walking backwards while looking at Minna.
Minna went upstairs to her unit.
"Woaaah why is this? why do I pound to see him smile. 'sorry can not invite you to stop by' wow. he immediately blunt without further ado. I'm fucking crazy! chatting and seeing her smile made me forget that today a lot of shitty things happened." Kai muttered in the street with a smile.
...
Kai arrives at Dohwan's apartment...
"Hyeong, it's Kai." Kai said as he knocked on the door.
"Ohh, wait a minute." Dohwan said from within.
"Wahhhh I happen to be cooking ramyeon, you want to too, right?" Dohwan said, opening the door immediately.
"Hyung, I'm so hungry. Today was hard for me." Kai said as he walked in to open his shoes.
"Hahaha yes yes yes, tell me while eating ramyeon." Answer Dohwan.
"You sit here first, just turn on the TV if you want to watch." Continue Dohwan while thrusting the TV remote.
Kai sat there watching TV.
A few minutes later Ramyeon was ready.
"Nahh. let's eat the ramyeon is ready." Dohwan said while carrying a hot pot containing ramyeon.
"Ahh let me take the cutlery." Kai said as he put down the pedestal for the pot and headed to the kitchen.
They eat together and Kai tells him everything that happened to him and also the events in the minimarket.
"But you're sure Minna's okay?" Dohwan asked Kai very seriously.
"Yes he's fine hyeong, I've also taken him home while in front of his apartment." Kai replied convincing Dohwan.
"Finished this meal I should call him right away." Dohwan panicked.
"Do you know that he lives alone? I don't want him to get ill-treated or have a hard day. You have to keep him on campus so he doesn't have a hard time." Dohwan said while eating his ramyeon quickly.
Kai said inwardly, while looking at Dohwan.
"You heard what I said just now, right?" Ask Kai Dohwan.
"Ohhh, yes hyeong I'll do it." Kai replied rather surprised.
They also spent their dinner talking.
....
"You're not taking a shower?" Ask Dohwan who just came out of the bathroom.
"Yes I'm going to take a shower." Answer Kai.
"The clean towel is on the shelf above the sink huh." Dohwan said while rubbing his hair with a towel and then taking a TV remote.
Kai took a shower and finished a few minutes...
"Minna, are you okay? why didn't you tell me?" Kai hears Dohwan's voice faintly from the bathroom.
Kai said in his heart.
"Is it really okay?" Tanya Dohwan wanted to convince herself.
"Hahhh thank goodness then, I told you that if you had trouble contacting me but why didn't you do it?" Dohwan asked firmly to Minna.
Kai muttered and then he came out of the bathroom.
"Hyeong, he was so shocked that he let him rest first." Kai said immediately out of the bathroom reprimanding Dohwan.
Dohwan looked at Kai and spoke to Minna.
"Well, Minna, I'm sorry if I put too much pressure on you. Rest later you tell me if you have a chance." Dohwan
"Good night, Minna, don't forget to have dinner" Dohwan said.
"I hung up on him." Dohwan said and hung up the phone.
"Ahhh really... How could he not contact me directly? Though it's been yanked up repeatedly if there's anything she should call me." Dohwan sounded annoyed while tightly grasping his phone.
"Yes, he seems so surprised that he forgot to tell you, teach him that he hastily bathes and rests in such a state." Kai said as he sat next to Dohwan and rested his head on the sofa.
"Truely you said... Huh... Anyway, thanks for helping him out." Dohwan said while patting Kai on the stomach.
"Awwww.wrt..." Shouted Kai while bowing holding his stomach.
"Hey... Wh why? I patted him slowly." Said Dohwan seeing Kai in pain.
"Ahhh... It's because the guy I met before I got here, he punched me in the stomach." Said Kai.
"Why didn't you say? wait for me to get you some bruising medicine." Dohwan went to get the P3K box.
"Thank you hyeong." Said Kai who looked still in pain.
