Luqi felt that the minimarket yesterday was quite unique than the minimarket in general. Not just a place to shop, on the front page of the minimarket there is also a place to hang out as he often sees in a cafeteria or mini restaurant. Maybe there are not many chairs or tables available there, but it is quite a fun place to take shelter or also do college assignments.
That's why Luqi made one of the minimarkets as one of the places he would go whenever there was free time or was exhausted. Not too fancy, the most important thing can make him feel comfortable and also easily visited by all his friends.
"Lu seriously want to hang out at the minimarket again? Didn't we have a problem yesterday with his employees?" glenn asked who was currently talking over the phone with Luqi. Luqi who heard that frowned and laughed a little. Sometimes Glenn's words can always invite laughter for him.
"We? Who broke the goods in the minimarket was it? Yeah, the time I was there just as the stuff broke?"
Glenn could only sigh deeply. He knew that whatever Luqi wanted, then there should be no one to refute him. There can be no rejection. Luqi was already used to an acceptance. If there was one person who denied his request, then it was the same as insulting Luqi. Because Luqi always felt that rejection was a sign that he failed and lost in subjugating anyone. That's what he often learned from his father. Perhaps his father never spoke directly like that, but Luqi learned it through observation and whatever happened to his father's life.
"Ok, gur knows that it was our fault and you weren't involved at all. I think that place does not hurt to be a place to hang out. Plus, the employees are beautiful too" Glenn said with a smile and scratched his non-itchy head. You could say Glenn is indeed one of the most playboy among them. It may look fierce in front of any man, but it will lose when you see a beautiful woman.
Luqi laughed. He admitted that. Somehow the owner of the minimarket was selecting his employees. Perhaps one of the requirements to become an employee there is a beautiful face and also handsome. The owner of the minimarket must also prioritize young and unmarried employees, considering that the minimarket is open twenty-four hours a day.
"Well, I admit what you said, maybe even including the employee who scolded you where. He looked innocent yet also looked ferocious in just one moment."
Glenn smiled mischievously. He knew that in a situation like this his best friend would have been attracted to the clerk who scolded them yesterday when they broke some stuff. The employee who was none other than Azea.
"So you want to hang out there because you want to see that clerk again? I heard her name was Azea."
Luqi raised an eyebrow, it was so easy for Glenn to know a person's name so quickly.
"Gue doesn't care about that ridiculous conjecture of yours, but how do you know his name so quickly? Did you ask him directly?"
Luqi finally understood. That did not make him completely cancel his plan to hang out again at the minimarket at night. After all, there was something they wanted to do. As always, it is just a simple game that may be very fun.
Even he seemed to have been used to go to the minimarket even without being accompanied by his friends. All the food and also the items in the minimarket never make him bored. For the first time he was very interested in items that might be too cheap to the standards of a person like himself. But the most important thing here is that he's getting more and more familiar with Azea.
The girl he didn't like at first for seeming to underestimate him at their first meeting. He felt that Azea was a good employee at the minimarket. He was also quite amazed at the courage of Azea who had to go home late at night because of the demands of the job.
"Lu ever studied martial arts? Whether it's self-taught or having your own teacher?" luqi asked suddenly when at that moment Azea was wiping the refrigerator glass. Azea who was shocked from the confusion immediately frowned and stared at Luqi who was not currently looking at him at all.
"Sorry, were you talking to me?" azea asked as she continued to wipe the glass of the refrigerator. Luqi turned a glance while nodding.
"Of course, you think I'm a crazy person who speaks for himself?" ask Luqi again. Azea just laughed a little at hearing that.
"Not at all. I never learned any martial arts, either self-taught let alone having a teacher. My college assignment has been enough to make me feel dizzy lately."
Luqi took some yogurt there. "Wow, I admit your bravery. Or maybe your house is indeed close from here so you are not afraid at all if you have to go home at midnight without being accompanied by anyone even can not master martial arts if there are people who are bother you later."
Azea smiled. He himself had even forgotten his worries. The weeks of working at this minimarket made him forget what he was worried about first. He was sure that everything would be fine, as long as the highway was still crowded and there were still many people who could watch over him. The crowded situation made him feel safe because he felt that he could scream if something happened to him. It would be easy for everyone to hear his screams and help him. That was why every time he came home, he always chose the most crowded place to go.
Azea himself also did not expect that because Luqi had come here too often, they were getting more familiar and seemed to forget about the matter that was yesterday. Luqi often shops there and also relaxes there despite being alone.
They often chat random things that may not really matter. But it was enough to make Azea no longer bored with his work. There was at least something that could cheer him up this time. Luqi was also not at all awkward with the girl who despite coming from a poor family, it did not make Luqi hesitate to talk to her at all.
