In the distance, I finally saw the huge city gate. My legs went faster until I finally arrived at the gate. Several soldiers were seen inspecting the luggage of those who were about to enter the city.
When it was my turn, they ransacked the bag I had taken from the bandits and found the royal card and asked.
"You're from Salleria?" One of the soldiers asked.
"Ah yes" I replied awkwardly, the card was quite useful I think.
"Okay, 3 silver coins to enter the city" I gave the 3 silver coins and immediately entered the city to avoid suspicion.
"It's a lot wider than the underworld" I muttered softly.
「It looks like the human population increased in these thousands of years master」Uriel responded to my remarks
Unlike the underworld filled with horned demons, this city was much more normal. It's just, there's one thing that bothers me.
"Why is there slavery here?" I frowned looking at the few humans as well as the demi-humans that were caged along the way.
This is really surprising, in the underworld there is no such thing as slavery. While in this city the sight of slaves in chains might already be their everyday sight. Humans look more like demons than the demons themselves.

When it entered, the guild was full of people. Some people gathered with drinks. Others chatted or just looked at the notice board.
「Master, do you want to register in the guild?」Uriel asked curiously.
"For what?"
「If the master signs up in the guild, then we will not be charged again to enter any city」
Hearing that my eyes lit up, meaning I didn't have to waste any more money! Because of that temptation, I went to the registration table.
"I want to register in the guild"
"Well, what's your name?" A woman dressed like a receptionist greeted me kindly.

"Master?" seeing me not answering her question the woman called me.
"Ah Lucy my name is Lucy" I replied quickly.
"Well, master Lucy, can you put your hand on this elemental crystal?" the woman took out a transparent crystal ball and kept it on the table.
"Uriel what is this?" I asked quickly. I must remain vigilant of my unusual identity, if I make the slightest mistake maybe a big war will occur.
「As the name suggests, this element crystal can detect what kind of magic we can use. In the human world, only 5 elements can be detected, namely fire, water, earth, wind, and light. But of course the master masters everything! Except lam」Uriel answered my question enthusiastically as usual.
The light? I understand that I cannot use the light element because I am a demon.
"Can you arrange for the element I'm mastering to be like the average human here?" askaku returned
「Of course!」Uriel answered proudly.
With that certainty, I placed my hand on top of the element crystal. Then a dim light of red, green, and a bright white color appeared in the middle of the element crystal.
"You seem to be good at using fire magic, you also have the potential to use wind magic, then the element-" as soon as the receptionist woman's eyes widen, her professional voice disappears into a voice of admiration "You can use the light element!"
When I heard that my eyes were widening, the once crowded guild became silent.
"Light?!"
"Is he a noble?"
"Hey we should recruit him to our party immediately!"
Before long the guild was back in crowds. Right now I'm panicking.

"Do you want to join our party?" the woman looked at me as if she had found a rare treasure.
"I have to go" I said avoiding her question.
"My party is one of the strongest parties in Bhathag's kingdom. You'll be safe in our party"
(note: Vitalis was the capital of the kingdom of Bhathag)
I raised my eyebrows in interest, one of the strongest parties?
"I will consider it" I replied shortly. If I become a member of one of the strongest parties maybe I will have a lot of useful information right?
"All right! You can meet me again tomorrow in the guild at the same time" The woman said excitedly, and gave me a thumbs up and left.
After the woman left, I almost forgot what my purpose was to come here. Okay let's go for a walk!
I was almost exploring all corners of the city until I didn't realize that the sky was dark. My stomach has also started to sound and my money is running out because I tried so many useless things.
I think I should go home now.
"Uriel, take me home"

Astaroth massaged his head "Expand the search and deploy the entire army of demons that exist" he ordered.
"What are you doing here?" hearing that voice, the three demons immediately turned their heads.
"My lord!"
"Our ancestor!"
Looking at the faces of the three demons who were about to cry, I wondered.
What happened while I was gone?
