Berty & Andy

Berty & Andy
The Kancil Who Feel Smart

Bertie's Duck and Andy's Chicken are two animals that live together on a small farm on the edge of the forest. They are always happy and often adventurous together. This time, they are faced with a problem involving Kancil, an animal that is very arrogant and feels very smart.

One sunny morning, Bertie and Andy sit on the farm porch, enjoying the warm sunshine. They talked about various things, when suddenly Kancil came, wagging his tail haughtily.

"Good morning, both of you," said Kancil, smiling arrogantly.

"Good morning, Kancil," replied Bertie and Andy kindly.

The rabbit who always felt the smartest in the forest is looking forward to showing off his cleverness. "I would like to invite you two to an intellectual race. I knew I would definitely win because I was so smart."

Bertie and Andy who were always relaxed just smiled. They know that Kancil is often too arrogant, and they feel challenged. "Sure, Kancil. We're going to be in your race" Bertie said.

The intellectual race begins under a large tree in the forest. The deer, Bertie, and Andy gathered there with several other animals who wanted to see who would win. Kancil started with his first question.

"First question: How many stars are in the night sky?"

Kancil smiles haughtily, thinking he will make Bertie and Andy fail. However, Bertie casually said, "No one knows how many stars there are in the night sky. They're countless."

Kancil was surprised, but he didn't give up. He continued with another question.

"Second question: Who won the last football game?"

Andy smilingly said, "Sorry, Kancil, but we can't answer that. We don't know which match you mean."

Kancil was getting frustrated, but he kept trying.

"Third question: What color are the shoes I'm wearing now?"

Bertie and Andy just laughed. "Kancil, we're here for a fair intellectual race. There's no way we know the color of your shoes because we didn't see them. Let's continue with another more fair question."

Kancil is so embarrassed. He realizes that he has been trying to frame Bertie and Andy with unfair questions. They both remained calm and resourceful.

The intellectual race continues with fairer questions, and each time, Bertie and Andy give thoughtful answers. Kancil eventually realized that true intelligence is not only about answering difficult questions, but also about humility and the ability to learn from others.

While admitting defeat, Kancil said, "The two of you are indeed smarter than I thought. I apologize for being arrogant and trying to frame you. Suppose I can learn from your humble attitude."

Bertie and Andy just smiled and said, "Castardly, we all have our own advantages and disadvantages. The most important thing is that we learn from each other and do not need to be arrogant. We can all complement each other."

Bertie and Andy kept smiling, and with the wisdom they had, they spoke to Kancil understandingly. They know that the lesson of humility and humility is something that needs to be instilled in all living beings, including the very arrogant Kancil.

"Tissue," said Bertie softly, "we are all unique beings with their own advantages and disadvantages. No one is perfect, and no one knows everything. True intelligence depends not only on knowledge, but also on our ability to learn, share, and grow together."

Andy added, "We respect your intelligence, Kancil, but don't let it make you arrogant. Humility is a sign of true wisdom."

Kancil listens to their words in earnest, and although he initially feels ashamed and feels like the losing side, he feels moved by the sincerity and wisdom of Bertie and Andy. He finally smiled wryly and said, "Thank you, guys. I've really learned a valuable lesson today."

The intellectual race continues with fairer questions, and each time, Bertie and Andy give thoughtful answers. The three of them grew closer as friends, and Kancil felt lucky to learn from them.

One day, the three of them decide to go on an adventure into the deeper woods. They climb hills, follow rivers, and pass through wilderness. During this adventure, they experience many interesting and challenging things. They learned how to traverse a rushing river, recognize the tracks of wild animals, and even rescue a young bird trapped in a bush.

Kancil, who used to feel himself the smartest, realizes that his knowledge is not necessarily enough to face challenges in the wild. Bertie and Andy, who have often explored the forest, lead and guide the Kancil through their adventures. They exhibit survival skills and knowledge that can only be gained through experience.

When night fell, they camped under the stars together. They talk about their adventures and reminisce about the moments they experienced. Kancil feels grateful that he has friends as good as Bertie and Andy, who are willing to share their knowledge and experiences with him.

Kancil finally admitted, "You're both right. Knowledge is not everything. Arrogance will only prevent us from growing and developing. Thank you for teaching me this valuable lesson."

Bertie and Andy just smiled and clasped tightly onto Kancil's hand. They know that true friends are those who support and learn from each other, without feeling better or smarter than the other.

They continued their adventure the next morning. During their journey, the three of them met many other animals in the forest, and they always kindly exchanged stories and knowledge. They share hilarious stories, such as when Bertie falls into a mud pool, or when Andy is nearly struck by lightning when it rains.

They also meet beautiful birds singing beautiful songs, and they talk to butterflies chasing colorful flowers. They listened to the legend stories of wise old turtles and learned much about the natural wisdom of the clever squirrels.

Every day, they increasingly appreciate the diversity of the forest and the uniqueness of each creature that lives there. They realize that true intelligence lies not only in knowledge, but also in the ability to be with nature and other beings.

Kancil, Bertie, and Andy become inseparable friends. They face challenges together, celebrate victories together, and together learn from failure. They grow as better and wiser animals every day.

One day, they heard news of a problem that was going on in the forest. Their forests are being threatened by real dangers, such as illegal logging and environmental pollution. They feel the need to do something to protect this place they love.

Bertie and Andy propose to gather all the animals in the forest to gather and find a way to protect their forest. Kancil, who has now become more humble and eager to change, agreed with the plan.

They held large gatherings under large trees that were often their meeting places. All the animals of various kinds came together, including the birds, beasts, and small animals. They all realized that they had to come together and collaborate to protect their home.

Bertie, as the most knowledgeable about forest plants and ecosystems, talks about the importance of maintaining the balance of nature. He explains how every creature in the forest has an important role to play in keeping the ecosystem balanced.

Andy, with his social intelligence, talks about the importance of cooperation between animals. He illustrates how all animals in the forest can work together to protect natural resources and keep ecosystems healthy.

Kancil talks about the lessons he has learned from Bertie and Andy about being humble and learning from others. She shares her personal experiences of how excessive self-confidence and vanity can hinder one's growth and development.

Other animals in the forest also share their ideas and ideas. They agreed to work together to protect their forests. They formed a group called the "Holy Guard Union" and began to take concrete actions to protect their forests.

They organized patrols to monitor illegal logging activities and environmental pollution. They also held an educational campaign to teach humans the importance of preserving nature.

Bertie and Andy continue to be wise advisors in this endeavor. They know that true intelligence is about taking action to make the world a better place.

Time and again, the Forest Protector Union faced challenges and obstacles. But they never give up. They continue to work together, learn from each other, and grow together as a solid team.

A few years later, their forest returned green and lush. Nature is back to dancing with beauty and life. The forest is safe, and the animals that live there live in peace and well-being.

Canker, Bertie, and Andy have been building enduring friendships for years. They learn a lot about wisdom, humility, and the power of cooperation. They also learn that true knowledge is the knowledge of how to take care of nature and care for each other.

They are a perfect example of how intelligence, wisdom, and humility can come together to create a better world. And they remain friends who are always together, together facing adventure and sharing happiness in their meaningful lives in the beautiful forest.
