9. Jealous

They sleep while hugging. But Aera still could not sleep, Aera's mind was still curious. (Or just a woman, her mind is complex.😁)

Aera remained silent in the darkness for quite a while. Then he held the hand that was holding it.

Ray who felt Aera's uneasiness asked slowly "Aren't we getting drunk on love right now? it's just what are you thinking? "

”Aera, no matter what reason you agreed to when you married me yesterday, I just hope we can both be loyal to each other. Time will prove that we're both compatible, you understand, right?" continued reminding.

Aera looked flabbergasted, then nodded, "yes. Aera understands,"

"Good.what will happen will still be fulfilled. If you can't handle it, I'll always be by your side. Remember that.."

The words from Ray made him stupefied. Doubt from him vanished.

Aera nodded while still holding her hand. He knew from his voice, Ray was exhausted. "mmmmm... Alright.... Go sleep.. Brother has to work tomorrow..

And there was no answer, there was only the sound of light breathing..

Morning has arrived. People wake up as the sun greets them. Start the day full of energy and face all the challenges.

Aera opened her eyes, feeling so blurry, wiping them with one hand, while the other tried to feel the side of the bed. Found the husband had woken up first but still felt his warmth there.

Aera grabs her phone, turns it on and looks at the time. Suddenly he was surprised as soon as the clock showed at half-nine.

He must go to work soon, because his retirement is over.

He had set the alarm for eight o'clock last night. How could he sleep?

He quickly got out of bed and put on his sleeping robe, then headed for the bathroom.

After shower and get dressed. Aera rushed downstairs with her briefcase, Ray seemed to be sitting reading the newspaper on the sofa. Had breakfast on the table. It seems her husband is preparing.

"why didn't you wake Aera?" grunts Aera. Time has shown it is almost nine o'clock and they may be late for work.

Ray turned his head when he heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

With her black formal suit, Aera let her half-shoulder-length hair be allowed to unravel. Makes it look fresher.

He folded the paper back and sipped his tea before saying "Yes you'll sleep well, so I'll leave it, have breakfast first."

He took his briefcase to the dinner table, and ate a loaf of bread. Then he drank the milk and put it down again and Aera rushed out. "It looks like we're late, it's almost 09:00! Come fast!”

This woman was really scared of being late. Is it because it's his first day of work after a leave of absence. He was afraid of facing a new CEO.

Ray who saw his wife so eager to go to work became very impressed.

Ray put down his mug, he still took the time to look at the glass of milk that was only half drunk by Aera.

Gilbert had been waiting in the car from earlier. Aera looks riled up waiting for her husband in the car.

Ray hands him warm milk, before telling Gilbert to start the car.

Aera picked it up and gulped it down quickly. Aera was very agitated because she was afraid of being late. I have to report to the new CEO. Aera prays in her heart, may she arrive first to the office before her CEO comes.

Arriving at the front door of the company, Aera immediately ran into the office, not having time to say goodbye to her husband.

Ray who saw him just smiled.then he got down from the car, the security in front gave a greeting. They wonder why Aera got out of their CEO's car in such a hurry.

"This morning the CEO has not arrived. Ra's. Tumben our divinely disciplined CEO has not come" Selina replied.

"Already, Ra. Set your breath first. Don't get caught you just arrived.”

Gilbert called from his room to Aera's division room, "Sir Joseph, have the furloughed employees started working? Mr. Ray asked him to face now."

"For Mr. Gilbert, the officer on leave named Aera has entered work sir. Well, sir, I will have him face Mr. Ray now" replied Mr. Yusuf.

"Aera.. Aera.”

"yes, sir, what is it?"

"you're told to face our CEO right now"

"well sir, Aera get there.”

Aera looked at Selina. Selina gave Aera some encouragement.

Aera went upstairs to the CEO's office. He went to the secretary and asked, "i was called Mr. CEO."

" just a minute, I'll confirm"

"Good morning, ray. Miss Aera from the sales division is up ahead, he said the father called her."

" yes, let it in."

Didn't I hear you wrong, the secretary said his name was Ray, ah maybe I heard wrong.

"excuse me sir. I heard you wanted to see me." continued Aera again,

When Aera entered the CEO's room, she saw him around the big room. On the table is bread and milk.

"Sit down first." Ray faced his chair backwards. He just laughed at Aera's voice.

His voice sounded familiar Aera thought.

Ray turned his chair around. Then sit on the sofa in front of Aera." Drink some milk and finish the bread, I saw you didn't finish my breakfast properly.”

Aera who saw her husband, the CEO of her place of work, could only be shocked to see her husband casually offering breakfast.

'Stupidly I' thought Aera. 'it should be when she said entrepreneur, I should ask what company. and when she mentioned her papa's name she was the previous CEO. I should remember correctly'.

Aera while hitting her head realized her stupidity.

Ray just laughed at Aera's expression, ”calm down. I will not give a warning letter to employees who have not had breakfast" said Ray while teasing his wife.

Aera pursed her lips, while eating the breakfast Ray had prepared at the table.

"So when do we meet papa and mama?" Ask aera.
