Chapters 11. The Race and the News of Grief

The expected day finally arrived. Asha and Denis are now ready to participate in the math Olympics in Bandung to represent their school.
Denis now keeps more distance from Asha. They only talk if they need to.
There were still faint marks of bruising on Denis's face. Asha looked at Denis who was focusing on her phone. Until a voice with a sharp tone was heard clearly in Asha's ear.
"Liatin keep going! But don't mistake me if he gets hurt." Said that person while looking at Asha furiously.
Asha did not answer he just glared and stared around.
"Lu still want my words in the UKS?!" Ask that person who was able to draw Asha's attention to her.
Asha looked at the person beside her with a flat expression but the look in her eyes was emitting hatred.
Asha knew what the man meant.

"Aren't you sure you don't want to go to the hospital?" Ask Ana worried.
"Ga need, I'm gapapa." Denis replied while touching the wound.
Until a moment of silence.
"Em, we haven't met. I'm Denis. You guys?" Denis broke the silence.
"Ana and this is Dito. We're Asha's men." Ana Said
"To-" Denis' words came to a halt when someone opened the doors of the UKS.
A cute girl figure with a flat expression entered the UKS.
"Asha?" Ana and Dito said when they saw her friend coming.
Unlike Denis who prefers to stay still and look at the floor.
"How's it?" Ask Asha briefly.
Denis looked at Asha then lowered his head again when he saw Asha's gaze which exuded a sense of anger, annoyance, but a flat expression.
"Little wound only." Denis said slowly.
Asha silently approached Denis and pressed on Denis' wound, which left him grimacing in pain.
"Little wound?" Ask Asha flat.
"I-" Denis' speech was cut off by the sound of the door being opened violently and the figure of a devil with the face of a Greek god.
"Great. Left behind for cheating." That person was none other than Artan.
All were speechless with two expressions, scared and flat.
The Fearful expressions displayed Denis and Ana and the flat expressions displayed Asha and Dito.
"What wasn't enough?!" Arlan asked with a flat face mixed with emotions.
"I'm just looking at the" Asha's words were cut off by Arlan's voice.
"Who's missing him?!" Tanya Arlan was angry.
"I-" again Asha's speech was stopped this time by Arlan's pull .
"Lo Asha Kavilla's. Don't ever get close to another man besides me, and the Lo family. Or the person will be injured even DEAD" said Arlan firmly and seriously to make everything in the UKS look at him in horror.
"Don't take this as a threat because I'm going to prove my word!" Asha then pulled Asha out of the UKS and died Denis , Ana, and Dito.

About 2 hours more entourage School Cendrawasih travel Jakarta-Bandung.
At exactly 10:30 Asha and the group arrived in Bandung. Now they are heading to the hotel where they are staying, because the race will start tomorrow.
"Asha?" Shouted someone calling Asha who was about to enter the hotel lobby.
Asha, Denis, Mr. Darto and Bu Melly stopped and looked towards the person calling Asha. The young male figure in formal clothes looks very handsome with pure white skin.
Arriving in front of Asha the man hugged Asha tightly as if they had not seen him for a long time.
"Sister kangen you. You're not calling brother" said the man taking off his embrace.
"Asha is also missing Mario." Reply Asha with a faint smile.
"Oh yes brother, know this teacher and friend of Asha. This is Mr. Darto and Melly's mother Asha's teacher. If it's Denis's sister class Asha and my race partner." Asha continued after taking off their embrace, Asha introduced her sister to her teacher and upperclassman.
"Mario. I'm Asha's brother." said Mario shook the hands of Mr. Darto, Bu Melly and Denis. His third face was shocked. But no doubt they returned the hand of Mario.
"I didn't know Asha had a sister." Said Mrs Melly in a cautious tone.
"I live in Bandung, Mom." Reply Mario kindly, then his view turns on Asha.
"You're here race?" Ask Mario
Asha just nodded and smiled a little.
"Not changed." Mario is proud of his brother.
"When is the wave?" Ask Mario again.
"Tomorrow, sister, so we stay at this hotel" replied Asha representing.
"good. Brother will order a room and good service for you and others" said Mario.
"No need for Mario. We have-" said Mr. Darto felt bad to stop because Mario interjected.
"No papa sir. This is my best friend's hotel and my beloved sister's staying here so it should be comfortable." Mario tried to persuade.
"Let's get you guys some rest." Mario then takes Asha and the group to the receptionist.
"Did you think of me?" Whisper Ms. Melly slowly who walk beside Mr. Darto.
Mr. Darto nodded and looked at how Asha's attitude changed at the same time as the man whose incident was his brother.
Finish their check in to their respective rooms that have been ordered by Mario.
Mario escorted Asha to his room at once to chat with his beloved sister.
"You rarely call brother why? I rarely go back to Bandung. You go home 2-3 times a month but you don't go. Wh why? " Task Mario in a tone of annoyance.
Asha smiled slightly and sat down next to Mario.
"Asha's afraid of interrupting sister's work. Asha has to go to school. You take care of the sick grandmother." Answer Asha.
"You don't bother deck brother. It's as if sending a message to brother so that brother doesn't worry about you." Mario denied Asha's reasoning.
"Yes. From now on Asha will send pesen to sister to brother bosen" said Asha with a small laugh.
"Sister will never be bored with this sister" said Mario while pinching Asha's cheek with anxiety.
"So can't you be here?" Ask Asha.
"There's no work here" replied Mario then leaned his back against the sofa.
"Oh yeah deck. Mumpung you here how if we go to the city of Bandung. Your race is still tomorrow, right?" Mario
Asha nodded then they both left after asking for permission as well as saying goodbye to Mr. Darto and Bu Melly.

Mario and Asha enjoy their time together until lunch time and now they are in a luxury house in an elite residential area.
There was no response from Asha. Until the car carrying Mario and Asha entered the courtyard of the house.
"It's been awaited" said Mario with a charming smile.
Asha comes out first followed by Mario.
"Mama's daughter" said a middle-aged woman who still looked young.
Asha's body was tightly embraced by the woman.
"Mama kangen is with you. Since you moved to Jakarta you've rarely been here." Mama Mario said with a tone and look made sad.
"Asha is there ma school." Answer Asha softly and reply with a small nod of where Mario is.
"How many days are you in Bandung?" Mario asked as he brought Asha into the house.
"Tomorrow afternoon after the race Asha back to Jakarta ma." Answer Asha.
"You turned it around with Mario, yes, nginep here. Mama misses you." Mama Mario said in a persuasive tone.
"Ma, does Asha have to go to school." Sahut Mario who sits on the sofa singel .
"Can I have a leave, right? Mom misses mom's son. The house is now. Papa you are busy working, you work in the capital, your grandmother is in the hospital. Lonely mom at home alone." Mom Mario complained with a sad expression.
"Mom can take care of Grandma." Reply Mario gave understanding to his sulking mother.
Asha just smiled a little at the debate between mother and child in front of her.
Just in front of her family Asha showed her warm side. Papa Mario is the older sister of Mother Asha. Actually Mother Asha has one more older sister but Aunt Asha is not so fond of her and her Mother somehow.
Although she has a rich family but Mother Asha never wanted to trouble her family. He worked hard to educate and make Asha happy.
Mother Asha prefers simple life.

At 18:00 Asha returned to the hotel escorted by Mario and Mario.
"You take a break, baby, must be tired all day long with Mario." Mama Mario said while hugging Asha warmly.
"Greetings to grandmother and Mother yes ma. Tomorrow Asha stopped by before returning to Jakarta." Asha took off her embrace.
"Yes. Good night dear's. Sleep well and good dream." Mama Mario then left Asha staring at their departure.
After Mario's car is not seen again Asha returned to his room.

The atmosphere dominates in one of the public schools in Bandung.
Competitors from various schools are now starting to arrive with their groups.
Likewise with the Cendrawasih School troupe that has arrived since 07:00. The race will start at 07:30 and there will still be half an hour to prepare for the race.
"Spirit for you. Do your best for our school. Whatever the result, you will still be proud of you" said Mr. Darto.
Asha and Denis nodded firmly. While waiting for Asha and Denis read again the material and examples of the problems given by Mr. Darto and Bu Melly.

"The third champion of the mathematics olympics is Garuda High School. Please participants from Garuda High School come forward. For the second champion fell to High School Sandalwood. "No papa brother." Reply Asha while taking off her embrace.

Asha, Denis, Mr. Darto, and Bu Melly looked down at the sad looking Mario.
Asha could clearly see the look of sadness on her brother's face and there was a doubtful tone as she called out her name.
"What's up, brother?" Asha said with a feeling of anxiety, somehow the feeling was not good.
Instead of answering Mario instead hugged Asha's body tightly.
"Grandmother is not there." The four words spoken by Mario are able to make Asha's body sculpt.
Mr. Darto, Mr. Melly and Denis were shocked to hear Mario's words.
"What happened brother?" Ask Asha in a soft tone.
"Semalem grandma was fine but this morning the grandmother was critical and the doctor declared grandmother died." Mario
"Asha wants to go there, brother." Asha said softly with tears flowing.
Asha and Mario are followed by Mr. Darto, Bu Melly and Denis heading to the funeral home.
Until arriving at Mario's house that has been seen crowded by mourners. Asha almost fell down while running into the house.
In contrast to Mr. Darto, Bu Melly, and Denis who look at each other with a look of significant surprise. Mario's voice that leads them in makes the three aware.
"grandmother.." Asha said softly when she saw the body of the grandmother.
"Asha" said Mother Asha when she saw the princess.
Asha was held tightly by the Mother followed by the mother.
"Asha is strong yes." said mama Mario gently stroking Asha's hair.
Asha was just silent with no expression her eyes were blankly staring at the body of the grandmother.
The grandmother who is credited with taking care of him from his small pity without distinguishing his grandson who always defends him. Now he saw the grandmother who had not met him for more than a year fell asleep with a shroud.
Memories with her grandmother revolved around Asha's memories. Until the drops of Asha's tears came down to wet her cheeks.

Cloud overcast with a speck of rain accompanies the departure of Asha's grandmother. Now the cemetery in one of Bandung's TPUs is crowded by mourners who escorted Asha's grandmother to her final resting place.

"Asha?" Call mr. Darto .
Asha approached Mr. Darto with a flat face but there were traces of tears there.
"I represent School Cendrawasih to mourn the passing of your grandmother. You are strong." Said Mr. Darto softly.
"Thank you sir." Say Asha with a faint smile.
"You are steadfast, son" said Ms. Melly as she hugged Asha.
Asha nodded and thanked in the arms of Ms. Melly.
"You are the strong Sha." Denis.
Asha nodded and smiled faintly in response to Denis' words.
"On your permission, the father will take care of everything." Said mr. Darto.
"Thank you again, sir. Sorry to bother you." Asha said unkindly.
"No papa, we know how you are now. Then we say goodbye first. Greetings to your family" said Mr. Darto then passed away.
