Chapter 9 - Asking for Rights

Maudy who was sitting playing her mobile phone seemed surprised by the behavior of her husband who was pacing near the bed

"Can't you just shut up?"

Zayn stopped and looked at his wife.

"Why look at me like that?"

"Are you ready?"

"Who is what?" Maudy frowned.

"We're going to do that!" answer Zayn.

"Am I dreaming?"

"Maudy, we have to do it right now!" Zayn pushed his wife's body into the bed.

Maudy pushed back her husband, "I don't want to!"

"You can't refuse my request!"

"Why?"

"Because I'm your husband!"

"Why just ask for rations now? Yesterday when we were on vacation you didn't touch me even you told me you didn't like me."

"I'm sorry, but now we have to!"

"I will not obey your request!" Maudy said firmly.

"You must obey me!" Zayn pulled Maudy's arm and threw her into the bed.

Maudy fell down quickly and Zayn crushed her.

"Zayn, let me go!" her jolt, Maudy was trying to push her husband's body.

"We have to do it!" Zayn walked down the neck of his rebellious wife.

As vigorously as possible, Maudy pushed Zayn's body until he fell to the floor.

Maudy got off the bed with an angry and disappointed face. "I hate you!" loudly saying.

Maudy then walked into the closet taking out some of her clothes.

"Where are you going?"

"I want to go home!" Maudy stuffed her clothes into the suitcase in tears.

"Maudy, you don't go!" Imploringly.

"We need to end it right now!" Maudy wiped her tears.

"I don't want us to separate" Zayn said.

"Don't you want me to give up? Now I have fulfilled your request!" Maudy said in a high tone.

Zayn knelt down hugging his wife's thigh, "I'm sorry!" ogre.

"Take me off, Zayn."

"I won't let you go" said Zayn.

"Before things get more complicated, let's just end it!"

"No, Maudy. Nothing needs to end. Please give me a chance to fall in love with you."

Maudy was silent at her husband's confession.

"Please, I'm sorry!" ogre.

Maudy wiped away her tears that kept dripping. "Stand!"

Zayn with a soft face, "Would you give me a chance?"

Maudy nodded.

Zayn smiled and hugged his wife, "Thank you!"

Maudy was crying her shoulders were shaking.

Zayn loosened his arms, wiped away Maudy's tears and kissed her forehead.

The next morning, Maudy woke up. She went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for herself and her husband.

Yeah, last night's fight made the relationship both better. Zayn, promised to open his heart for him to run the household ark. It made Maudy melt and soften.

After breakfast, Zayn approached his wife. The man was already dressed in work, he hugged behind Maudy's body and dyed his hair.

"I haven't had a bath yet" Maudy put her husband's body away slowly.

"Let's go," Zayn smiled so warmly.

"You have breakfast, I'll take a shower."

"You should accompany me to breakfast after that we go to work together" Zayn said.

"Then, wait a minute. I'm gonna go take a shower" Maudy passed by her room.

His wife was not seen, Zayn gushed to reach his phone and sent a message to someone.

Within 15 minutes, Maudy walked up to her husband and threw a smile.

Zayn put his phone back on and disabled his ringtone.

"Let's have breakfast!" Maudy put fried rice in her husband's plate and put a plump egg with slices of cucumber and tomato and not to miss the crackers.

"Looks good?"

"Try it!" maudy smiled.

Zayn stuffed the fried rice into his mouth and said, "Very good!" his praise.

"Thank you," Maudy looked pleased.

After breakfast, Zayn took his wife to the office.

Upon arriving, Maudy kissed the back of her husband's hand and went down. Then Zayn went to the office.

Maudy who today is happy, always smiling makes Karen frown.

"Tumbent.."

"I'm happy again" he said.

"Is there any good news from Dubai?" Karen pulled out a chair and sat down in front of her friend.

Maudy nodded with a smile.

"I'm curious, tell me quickly!"

"Well, thank goodness. May she be like that forever" Karen said.

"Hopefully," he hoped.

In the afternoon, Zayn picked up his wife. He then asked the woman. "Do you want anything?"

Maudy shook her head.

"Don't want to enjoy ice cream?" tawar Zay.

"Can."

"Okay, we're going there!" bring him.

Maudy nodded slowly and smiled.

Arriving at the ice cream shop, Zayn took his wife's hand and entered the place.

Ordering 2 glasses of ice cream, the two sat while enjoying the view in the afternoon from the 2nd floor of the store.

"You come here often?" ask Maudy.

"Yes." Yeah."

"With Milka?" trying to guess.

Zayn stared then nodded slowly.

"You never called her again, did you?"

"No, I promised you."

"Have you guys been dating for a long time?"

"It's been a year now."

"Why don't papa and mama approve of you?"

"I don't know either."

"I should have refused to marry you."

"Everything happened doesn't need to be regretted."

"Yes, that's right."

Amidst the husband and wife's joking laughter, Milka single-handedly visited the ice cream shop. Yeah, he went upstairs to the tavern where he used to be and Zayn enjoyed the sweet drink.

Suddenly, Milka stared at the newlyweds. "Zay!"

The husband and wife set their eyes on Milka.

"He who?" ask Maudy slowly.

The speechless Milka looked furious, she quickly turned her body and left the ice cream shop.

"Why him?" Maudy looked astonished.

"He's Milka" Zayn replied.

"What's? So she's your lover?"

"Former, Maudy."

"Why not be pursued?"

"I don't want to hurt you."

"I feel guilty" Maudy said.

"Just let him!"

"Zayn must be mad at you."

"We don't have any relationship anymore. You don't worry. Quickly finish the ice cream!"

"I'll go to the toilet for a while, yeah!" pamit Zay.

"Yes." Yeah."

Zayn went to the toilet.

From the upstairs window, Maudy sees Milka entering her vehicle. Slowly the car left the ice cream shop.

Maudy smiled with relief, her husband did not chase after the woman.

Within 5 minutes, Zayn returned from the toilet and continued eating.

Arriving home, Maudy asked, "What do you want for dinner today?"

"As far as you are" he replied slowly.

"Well, I'll cook it for you." Maudy changed her clothes and went to the kitchen.

Almost an hour in the kitchen finally dinner dishes are ready to be eaten.

Zayn was first in the dining room, while his wife was cleaning up.

On the sidelines of his second dinner chat, Zayn asked about his wife's readiness to do the first night.

Maudy did not answer immediately.

"If you're not ready, it doesn't matter. I know you definitely don't trust me completely!"

"It's not like that.."

"Alright, I won't force it" Zayn said, continuing his meal.

"Zayn, it's not that I refuse but that you have to wait for me for another week" Maudy said softly.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm not going anywhere, only I'm coming by the moon" he explained.

Zayn scrunched his forehead.

"Every woman must have experienced it" Maudy explained briefly.

Zayn recalled the moment when Milka was pouting, her face was cranky and angry. Then she asked why her boyfriend. And Milka explained that the moon came.

"Hopefully his attitude is not like Milka's anymore comes the moon," Zayn's inner self.

"You're patient, yes!" Maudy smiled to encourage her husband.

"Yes, I'll wait another seven days."
