Chapter 79: Anxious

Shehan and Lilis both stared in disbelief at the still-lit television screen and aired news of events happening around the country. Nurbanu, who was sitting among them, calmly played his toys. The little boy did not understand that the situation of the middle room they were originally living in was calm turned into gripping.

"Is that true, Mom?" Lilis turned her husband and asked with a forehead full of frantic squeaks. Shehan did not reply or turn to LiIis instead. Still stunned to hear the shocking news.

"Mas Shehan..," call Lilis firmer. This time Shehan looked.

"Wait a minute, Lilis! I'd like to call Sarah and ask her the truth about this." Shehan is panicking.

"Yes, Mum." LiIis nodded. Highlight his eyes watched Shehan who hurriedly left the living room while taking out a cell phone from his pants pocket. Until Shehan's footsteps turned into a room, LiIis turned away. Staying in the living room accompanied Nurbanu to play.

"Then what about me and Nurbanu?"

"You guys come with me tonight. Tomorrow morning we have to ask permission to leave the principal of TK Nurbanu again."

Concerns clearly reflected in Shehan. Lillis realized that. This is natural because after all Sarah is the biological mother of their only child. Moreover, they used to love each other.

"Yes, Mas. Now I'm gonna pack our clothes."

A sizable suitcase inside LiIis's wardrobe took it out and placed it on top of the bed. He chose some of her clothes and Shehan's. Clothes with fabric material that is comfortable to wear everyday. Not to forget some Nurbanu clothes also LiIis put in the same suitcase. In less than half an hour, LiIis was ready to pack.

Shehan came into the room, wanting to make sure of Lilis work and luckily the man did arrive on time. "It's over, LiIis?"

Lilis just finished setting up the luggage security code. He glanced side-by-side towards Shehan who was walking closer. "Already, Mas. The important stuff I've all put in."

Shehan nodded a few times. Not wanting to waste time, he immediately dropped off his suitcase and took all his family members to the airport tonight.

"Nurbanu, put on the jacket, yeah!"

"Where are we going, Lilis? Is it night now?" Nurbanu asked Lilis, who was wearing a pink wool jacket.

LiIis smiled gently, not wanting to make the little boy worry. "We're going to Mama Sarah's house."

"Mama! Yea! To Mama's house!" Nurbanu jubilant while jumping. He did not know the true purpose of them coming to that place. For Nurbanu to visit his birth mother is his dream every day.

Shehan is busy texting her secretary-miranda on her cell phone to reset her work schedule tomorrow. Mr. Maman who was ready to put the suitcase into the trunk of the car approached.
