Chapter 84: Nurbanu's Desire

While Lilis was at Nugie's house, her foster-Nurbanu was whining at home when Sarah said goodbye to go home.

"Mama! Don't leave here, Ma! Just stay here with Banu and Papa!" Nurbanu whines at his mother while shaking Sarah's hands.

Rubbing Nurbanu's head gently, Sarah replied, "Next time Mama comes here again, yes! Mama will play the piano again. Play other games too!"

However, Sarah's persuasion was unable to melt Nurbanu's heart which was even more sulking. "Uuuh .. don't want it later! I want it now, Ma! Mama why the hell don't you want to stay here again with Papa and Banu, Ma?"

Sarah and Shehan exchanged glances. Nurbanu does not fully understand that his parents are officially divorced. After all Sarah just said she was going to stay with her other friend-Jody when she left Shehan's house to go to Jakarta.

"Banu, Mama still has to work. Tomorrow Mama must come here again, accompany Banu to play." Shehan joined hands to persuade his daughter, but instead turned into the object of Nurbanu's angry eyes.

"Uuh, don't want to, Papa! Banu wants Mama to live with us like before! My mom no longer lives in Jakarta! Let Mama stay here, Pa!"

Sarah leaned over, looking at her daughter's face from a closer distance. "Banu Darling, there will be Kak Lilis who lives here and accompanies Banu to play," he persuaded as he rubbed Nurbanu's head gently.

"Sister Lilis lives here. My mom lives here too! We'll play together, Ma!"

Once again, Shehan and Sarah exchanged glances.

To be honest Sarah feels guilty, but there is no other choice to explain clearly because Nurbanu must still not have reason with the word divorce and the fact that both parents have officially divorced.

"Shehan's...." Sarah looked, "i'm home now."

"Basic Banu!" Sarah waved a few times, "tomorrow Mama's here again."
